Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-Arlington

The hotel staff was great. The construction going on was a mess.

The property is being remodeled and is a bit chaotic. The pool has been closed for 4 weeks due to a broken pump. The outside bricks are being torn off and replaced and something on the back is walled off as if they are adding something. All in all the hotel is just older and not well maintained.

Rooms were a little too high for the renovations going on at the time. Pool was not in service, elevator was way too slow (just 1 in the whole Hotel) very inconvenient. Room was not cool.

Entire exterior under construction. Lobby smells like smoke when you walk in. AC in our room not working properly. Toilet not working properly. No remote for bedroom TV. Dirty bed skirt.

The sliding door to the closet was broken, there was window coverings for every single window, so there was absolutely no view or natural lighting. Often an hour before the breakfast would end there would be very limited options due to food running out and not refilling despite being considered a buffet. Was not worth the nearly $500 I paid for a two night stay.

Property is currently under remodel on the outside, they're redoing all the stucco and it is a hot mess. The rooms themselves are pretty outdated and are in bad need of a remodel. We stayed in a 2 bdr King suite. Based on the pictures I was pretty disappointed in the reality. The hotels 1 elevator had me taking the stairs pretty often and I'm a round woman that was on the 3rd floor. Riding in that thing had me questioning if I had enough life insurance. I also think my kids pet snail moves faster. Breakfast was so so, I skipped the coffee as the urn looked like it would require a tetanus shot afterwards. Not the worst hotel Ive ever stayed but a close second.

They are currently in a remodel which surprised me but wasn't loud or upsetting, very nice and respectful staff

Check in took a long time, not to many options to eat around property, they charge to park on property, pool is indoor dirty,

There was no ice maker, and the elevator was broken.

The stay was good. Friendly staff. Breakfast a was very good. One issue is the elevator. Slow or out of order. Needs maintenance or replaced

The room had cockroaches, and the bedsheet was dirty.

I liked the location proximity to nearby attractions and AT&T stadium. The free breakfasts were good. Was not happy with the service. We reported mouse droppings in our bathroom upon arrival that was never addressed after multiple requests. We also reported our toilet was constantly running which wasn't addressed. We also had an issue with our toilet clogging and it took multiple requests and several hours for the staff to find a plunger. Cleanliness and service was very poor

I had a cockroach on the first day there. I asked for it to be cleaned up as I killed it under the sink in the bathroom and it caused a mess. They came in and straightened the room but did not clean the mess. The next morning I went again and asked. When I came back it was super late because we were at the game and it was not cleaned still. I went to the desk again and it was not cleaned for the entire stay. It also states that room service would be in every other day. They were not. I received no clean towels during my stay. There were water marks all over the ceiling in the whole area and stains around the toilet. The shower was just outdated and gross. This was not a cheap stay. I travel about once every other month. I am a Hilton honors member and I have never experienced this before. I am coming back with four other families next month and we already booked at the Hyatt across the street.

Place is clean but older , seen a roach & heard everthing from the people on top of us . From the toilet flushing to the walking around couldn’t sleep .

People were smoking in and around the building. The room was not clean(noticeable stains on the couch and kitchen area) and there were bugs. The window was cracked. Breakfast and front desk staff was good.

Do not stay at this hotel! We booked last minute for a nearby concert at AT&T Stadium. I called prior to booking to see whether it was an easy walk to the stadium, (turns out it is relatively easy), but no one answered the phone. That should have been my first clue. Upon arrival, no one was working the front desk. We could hear voices and waited 5 minutes. Finally, an employee begrudgingly appeared and gave us room keys. The room was AWFUL. We almost turned around and left, but we had already paid for the night at this point, and we weren’t planning to be in the room much anyway. The refrigerator was completely covered in a brownish/yellow sticky film. The dishwasher was the same. The curtains had holes, chairs were worn, paint was peeling, door was beat up, the shower curtain was ripped, etc. After returning from the concert late in the evening, a large roach was crawling across the floor of the bedroom. We killed it but literally slept with the lights on in an effort to deter any other roaches from coming out! The so-called air conditioner sounded like a freight train. It rattled and shrieked all night long. We woke up as early as possible and got out of there! We did eat some of the complimentary breakfast before leaving, and it was decent. No complaints. The lobby area of the hotel is fine - clean and decently presented, but it as a far cry from what you are met with in the rooms. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here!

Walked in to stains all over the carpet and heater on with room at 86 degrees. Found a bug in the bed and multiple bugs under lamp shade. Smoke detector battery was low so it chirped every 30 seconds. I let front desk know about both issues and was told there was nothing they could do about it and they would make a note of it. Still was not addressed the next day. Only good thing about this hotel is its location. Will never stay here again.

Door locks didn’t have batteries and it took 30mins to get it fixed (between finding out what the true issue was and fixing it) Whole first floor is being renovated but guests still need to walk thru materials being installed or taken out. No one seems to care about getting rid of the dead cockroaches in the hallway

This is not a typical Hilton brand hotel, carpets are stained and they stink. There are roaches running around , in a three day stay even though we asked for a light cleaning in the room nobody came . Even though they have a kitchen there are no silverware or pans to cook so defeating the purpose of having a kitchen.Definitely I will not be back.

We booked for two nights but with how dirty it was, we only lasted one night and we moved to another hotel, hair everywhere, mold in the bathrooms, very uncomfortable beds and worst of all, cockroaches everywhere.

Construction is happening at the hotel, which is good because it definitely needs updating. Average stay. I liked the size of the room(s).

This hotel does not represent the Hilton Brand I am used to staying. Our room was old, furniture falling apart, hinges falling off the door between the sitting area and bedroom, curtains very worn with multiple holes, knats flying around, and on top of this, they charge $15.00 for parking. Breakfast was decent with a variety of choices. The staff was friendly. The hotel needs a major face-lift.

Bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. I’ll be hunting for those pillows now! Helpful and funny check in help.

The staff were very polite and friendly. Unfortunately, the hotel room was very dated and damaged. The bathroom tiles were broken and I was concerned I might cut my feet. Every time I walked in the bathroom the shards of tile would pop up. There was no soap in the bottles in the shower. The toilet seat was messed up and off centered..so it was a bit awkward to use the toilet. Overall the room seemed a bit dated and smelled. Normally I wouldn’t complain, but the room has over $200 for the night, and I thought it might be better kept for that price. These complaints aren’t towards the staff, but rather the company or owners.

Very convenient location from the stadium area the staff was very accommodating and responsive. The only downsides are it’s An older hotel so things are slowly being renovated. The only downside is there are no thermostats in the rooms so it got very warm Thankfully, we had the ceiling fan!

Spacious

Staff very rude, expect for me and my family to be ok went they tell me they have problems with my roon and change us to a differnt hotel. We like the amenities , indoor pool for the kids and breakfast serve a little late. We were put aside waiting till manager talk to us , during thattime several pax ck inn with no problem.

When we arrived Friday the room we were assigned the A/C was not cooling properly. The front desk assistant was very kind and went above and beyond to get us into a different room and into a Room that was very comfortable and cool. The breakfast there were one of the best complementary breakfast (Fri/Sat) I have eaten at a hotel.

Check in seemed difficult. At first they acted confused of my reservation and walked away to speak with a manager. I was then told our room wasn't ready and had to wait which was ok, but all the back and forth whispering made us uncomfortable. Once our room was ready we were told it would be another few minutes while the manager checked our room. Just seemed really odd. They were very kind. Just a weird interaction. Overall, we would go back if in a pinch for a concert, but not for more than one night.

Awful. Customer service from the front desk was terrible. Had a huge huge issue regarding billing as the hotel charged me for two night when this was already fully pre paid months ago. If I could give zero stars I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was great and my children had a blast! The only complaint would be when we weren’t warned that they would be cutting off the water for a few hours while they worked on the plumbing, but other than that I would definitely book there again!

The hotel staff were very caring and helpful. The location was convenient. Next to Six Flags, and not too far from AT&T Stadium. Would definitely stay here again.

We really liked the full kitchen with the bed & bath separate. Was not expecting that. The bathroom needed a bit more cleaning but overall we were very happy. The area was good. Approximately 30-40min walk to the AT&T Stadium.

Great spot to stay. Very convenient area if you are going to a Texas Rangers game or Dallas Cowboys game, also, if you are going to Six Flags over Texas!

We really enjoyed our stay but there were somethings we expected in our room. Our room has a small kitchenette but it has no silverware, no plates, bowls, cups or pots and pans. When came prepared to cook some of our meals just to save money. We went to the area they served breakfast got some paper plates and plastic wear. Fortunately, that was all we needed. The facility is clean. The bed, bedding and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was good with the exception both mornings the food was cold. We had to go to our room and heat it in the microwave which was really do big deal. We almost always eat in our rooms. My husband went to turn in the key cards. As he got to the car the lady at the front desk yelling that our card had been declined. I was puzzled because one we pre-paid through Expedia and what hotel charges when you are checking out. I’m not sure what happened as far as my credit card goes but I’m glad it happened. I feel like their front desk staff needs more training.

The staff was friendly and considerate. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast each day was different and phenomenal. We will be back 10/10

Staff was great and helpful for information about shuttle to baseball games and local attractions. Breakfast was good. Had some painting and construction but didnt bother us, quiet hours were observed during construction. Pillows could use more fluff. Smart tvs in room were nice. Overall a fine experience and would stay again.
