A Fun Family Getaway with a Few Drawbacks Great Wolf Lodge is the next best thing to Disney! The location is excellent—safe, accessible, and surrounded by lots of dining options. The waterpark is a bit smaller than expected but still a hit with the kids. One downside: the water wasn’t at the advertised 84°F, so it felt cold at times. We visited during 4th of July week, and it was very crowded. Be patient during check-in. We had an issue with our reservation, but a friendly staff member named Thais helped us quickly. Parking is tough. It’s often full, so finding a spot can be frustrating. Also, day pass holders have the same access as hotel guests. It would be nice if overnight guests had early entry or other perks. Food is pricey, and the breakfast buffet (about $28/person) wasn’t great. We ended up eating out or in the room most of the time. Tip: Arrive early on check-in day. You can use the waterpark and other amenities before your room is ready—we didn’t know and lost out on that first day. Overall, it’s a fun, memorable experience for families, as long as you plan ahead and manage expectations.

Our children,10 and 12, loved the water park and arcade room. We only stayed for one night but we were able to enjoy two full days of the water park and all Great Wolf Lodge had to offer. We arrived at noon and our room wasn't ready yet but we were able to leave our luggages with reception and enjoy the water park. The following day, we checked out at 11am and stayed for a day of fun at the arcade.

It’s a great place for the whole family. I loved the waterpark and the ease to obtain beverages and food while playing in the waterpark. It does get quite busy so I recommend ordering ahead of time so when you are ready to eat your meal will be ready. For those who enjoy cocktails the bar in the waterpark itself is also a great added bonus. There are so many activities. The value in the souvenir refillable cups is good.

If you want to spend a relaxing family weekend this is NOT the place!!! The water park is open to the general public not only to the resort guests so it gets CROWDED. The outdoor pool it’s ridiculous small for the amount of people they allow in, which makes it disgusting. They don’t have umbrellas around the pool, instead it’s full of chairs (not reclaiming) that makes its look like a theatre. If you want to grab a drink by the pool you’ll need to make a lane at the only bar they have there with only one person serving it’s AWFUL. Imagine that the indoor water park is CROWED with a room temperature of 84 degrees and all you can inhale is the bleach from the water, to the point of making you sick. All of our kids were dizzy and feeling like throwing up. The idea of an indoor water park at 84 degrees with not ventilation is absurd and not HEALTHY. Definitely not coming back.

No microwave in room. App wasn’t working to order food to the room and that’s the only way to get it delivered to room. The pool kazebo I rented for the day was cleaned out halfway thru the day because no one was occupying it even though I told them we would be back we needed to go back to the room. Daily passes for guests were only available for next day not same day.

Have been here twice and it has been amazing,,, the kids spent the days at the water park and it felt extremely saved, lifeguards were great, alert and vigilant. Great family atmosphere.

I have to leave a review because of how much I spent vs how much I got out of this family trip. When we arrived, we realized it was $19/day to park and mind you parking is ridiculous and far to walk anywhere. Secondly, the lines were so long just to check in and it took 30-40 mins working with the front because their scanner didn’t work and so many other hiccups. Our rooms are paper thin and i didn’t get any sleep being here. The beds are hard and small. There is no microwave in the room or safe. The rooms are so small. Everything costs and i haven’t even gotten started on the actual water park yet. There is a ten minute movie they play for children which is pretty cool. This place is more for children 10 and under. The water park was over crowded on a thursday and the water tasted like salt and pee. Of course some got in our mouths going down the slides or when the waves came and i was chasing my daughter in the water. There is expensive food at the water park. You have to checkout towels and if you don’t return them they charge you and your room. Our wrist bands kept deactivating so make sure you push the back in and wiggle it around for it to work. There is chaos in the baby area. My daughter came down the slide and a boy kicked her in the face and busted her mouth open. It was just chaos! The good thing is that housekeeping is nice but don’t speak english but i can speak spanish so it was fine. This was a waste of my money and i won’t be back . housekeeping is great

The hotel is beautiful but it was over saturated. Too much people . We did not find a sit at the Pool area .

Water park was perfect great safety for small size of kid game area for dry play ground was.perfect the price of the package i bought in the checking online before arrive was so worked we enjoy and was my first time good job

Everything was easy going, clean rooms and facilities, good staff, the only issue was the food was very expensive so we ended up going out to restaurants near by. Very attentive people everywhere at GWL.. definitely worth going

Our stay at Great Wolf Lodge was a fun and memorable experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly. The indoor water park was the highlight… tons of slides, a lazy river, and wave pools that kept everyone entertained for hours. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Beyond the water park, there were plenty of activities to enjoy. The kids had a blast playing MagiQuest and exploring the arcade, while the nightly storytime added a magical touch to our stay. The resort is well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone. I also appreciated the variety of dining options, making it easy to grab a meal without leaving the resort. If you’re looking for a fun getaway with kids, Great Wolf Lodge is definitely worth it! Oh and let’s not forget, you’ve got coffee for the night owls, but what about us tea lovers? A 3 AM tea quest to 7-Eleven wasn’t exactly part of the adventure I had in mind! A little hot tea in the Wolf Market would go a long way—because not everyone howls over coffee! lol my overall experience was exactly what I expected exceptionally well

I didn't care for the bed situation in the room and total lack of privacy for adults staying with kids, but the convenience of the Waterpark being onsite was awesome.

Too expensive. Don’t have zincs in the bathroom. Elevators could be too far from the room. I was using crutches due to a fracture on my knee and besides my kids my 80 years old mother also came with us. The staff did care about my crutches, didn’t care about my old mother they gave us the farthest room. Food not very good options too much junk food. The wands don’t work.

I absolutely loved everything about my trip from my room, to the activities and the staff. This is the best kids resort I have ever been to, and I can’t wait to come back. My kids all had a great time my youngest being 7 and the oldest being 15. I arrived to the hotel around 1 and my room was already ready I didn’t have to request an early check in. The property is beautiful and there’s so much to do. The entire staff was amazing everyone I encountered was so nice. It was just a great overall experience.

Honestly the property was not bad but the service was horrible. I took over 1 hr and a 1/2 to check in.

In fairness, the agent that did the check in moved as quickly as she could. The process just seems to be boggled down with details that might possibly be avoided and have a faster customer service rate. It certainly wasn’t the young woman who was struggling to get through every step she must as required by her job. But it was a painful check-in.

It was good. Overall super great experience. Staff funny and easygoing. Parking was also great.

Just Amazing. Definitely a great hotel for kids.. there is sooo much to do. So many activities… lunch can get a little hectic at the water park. They need for chefs or something at the hungry wolf, Waited 1 hour for our food. But we were having fun so not terrible. Very safe for the kids. Lifeguards we’re focused, great.. Will come back in the summer.

Staff was friendly and helpful, romm was OK, and the park and activities was fun!

I checked my credit card and had $2,339.89 in fraudulent charges. One for $1,405.33. My room was prepaid with Afirm so I have no clue what the charge is for. I keep calling the hotel but, never get off hold. Nice place to bad they have little professionalism to deal with these false and fraudulent charges!!!

Great for family an kids dunkin donuts downstairs is a plus an OMG the things they do for the kids in the lobby was an experience like no other and the water park is amazing had a great time will go back some things are pricey but its expected its a nice family place spend the lil extra or save an pick an affordable day its absolutely worth it ...i dont even do reviews but they gave me a heck of a memory with my family n i appreciate that alot thanks .. im still howling like a wolf at home lol

Very nice place for families, my kids had a great time at the water park and at the hotel in general. Many activities are happening during the day and night, good shows for the little ones as well. The only thing I didn’t like was the buffet (however, my husband did like it, it had meat and a variety of pasta) it was also very dark and i dont like eating where there isn’t light. There are very other good options to dine around the hotel, and the Waffle House was amazing for breakfast, good service the best i have ever had an good food ! Will definitely be back at the Hotel, very convenient the payment through the wristbands and the access to the room.

I like the resort and cleanliness.. The only thing I would change is the long 1 1/2 wait for food you ordered in the property. Also would never recommend booking with Expedia would book directly through the resort instead like that if there a change in reservation you don’t have to deal with a third party.
