Quick stayover in Richmond at this lovely, quiet property. Small, indoor saltwater pool, open late, was the perfect ending to a long day. Staff does need to stay on top of the dirty towels that accumulated and restock new towels (had to go to the desk for this). Visited the complimentary breakfast shorty after opening and they were already out of eggs though everything else was fresh and stocked. Adequate for a quick bite. Only real complaint was the bed and pillows-not comfortable at all and not up to Marriott standards. Quite disappointing, made for a restless night. Overall, nice stay, nice staff, good location.

This would have been a five star review if the manager Jennie Gold would at least responded to my email. We came for the pool only. Just to check in and find out it was closed due to the heater being broken. Nothing on the website stated this. We stayed for two nights and wasn’t accommodated in anyway. It was my five year olds birthday and he was highly disappointed. Jennie could have at least responded at bare minimum.

We enjoyed the suite. The pool was small, but warm and well kept. We were disappointed that you could only get into the WIFI if you paid for it, or became a member. That would have been good information to have before we booked.

My wife and I stayed here overnight while I was intown for work. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was kind and accomodating. The system where the TV is on and greets you with a personalized greeting is a nice touch. My only nitpicky knocks against it were breakfast in the morning was just okay and parking lot has a divisive median planted with prickly shrubs (I only mention because while we were there, an older guess tried traversing it and fell down in the parking lot, seems like an unnecessary obstacle for people just trying to get to their cars quickly).

We spent one week at this hotel. Everything was great, but the best part of our stay was the staff—especially Bonnie at the breakfast. The food was always good, but Bonnie made our stay feel like home. She is the best ambassador for the hotel and area. She helps guests feel welcome and “at home.” We will always remember her fondly. Only real complaint was the bed and pillows-not comfortable at all and not up to Marriott standards. Quite disappointing, made for a restless night. Overall, nice stay, nice staff, good location.

Quick stayover in Richmond at this lovely, quiet property. Small, indoor saltwater pool, open late, was the perfect ending to a long day. Staff does need to stay on top of the dirty towels that accumulated and restock new towels (had to go to the desk for this). Bonnie who works the breakfast bar was so friendly and kind. She always kept everything stocked. She went out of her way to talk to all the guests. It had a good variety for a free breakfast.

Had a great stay.. only problem was the key machine was broken and we did not have a key to the room. The hotel staff had to open our door for us anytime we went out and came back and were trying to get back into the room. Staff were very pleasant and eagerly helped each time we needed access.. The hotel also accommodated my request for early check in, as well as having a 2nd room in close proximity for my mother that has mobility issues. Overall a great place to stay..

The front desk lady when we first arrived, I forgot her name but she was very very nice and wore glasses, was so helpful and courteous. There was a level of professionalism that I do not believe you can get from most places. There was a problem with our room that was an error on her end but she was so apologetic and fixed it so quickly. The rooms were very very nice and layout was very different than what my family and I were used to. The showers were LOVELY. Great heat, wonderful pressure and beautiful bathroom. I liked that we could use our streaming services because I had totally forgot my laptop lol. Beds were a little hard for my liking but I slept very well Loved the toasted bagels and cream cheese for breakfast. Waffles could be a little tastier but overall had my fill! I loved it. My family loved it! Only problem is that we could not use the indoor pool and were not made aware of that prior to our stay. I imagine it would be hard for them to update a third party site about their amenities.
