Small place not as advertised

단순하지만 훌륭한 조식임

The hotel was okay. Didn’t realize Tru by Hilton is the lowest of the low Hilton brands - the sink is in the room, the bath is a glass enclosure, no hand soap next to the sink - you can get it from the shower every time you want to wash your hands or just forget being sanitary. For $66 a night (we got the corner room) it felt expensive by Vietnam standards. We had wonderful stays in Novotel and Melia for $10 more. The staff was decent, the breakfast buffet was limited (by other hotels in similar price point) but appreciated the fresh dim sum and noodle selection. Location is great - walking distance to train street and a 15-20 minute walk to old quarter. We didn’t get much noise in the room even though we faced the Hanoi station.
