For an 8/10 rating we were super disappointed at this location. We had things taped over in our room, the plug for the bathtub was pulled out and set on the side of the tub, cigarette burns in the comforter. There also isn’t an elevator to get to the second floor which wasn’t a big deal for us but could be for others. The room just felt dirty and we didn’t feel comfortable staying there. We also were charged for our room twice more after already paying for it through Expedia and I had to go and work with the lady at the front desk to get it fixed. The lady was very nice but the facility just felt dirty. We didn’t end up staying the night we paid for. We left a couple hours after being there and continued our travels.

Manger was kind enough to give us a first floor room. However it has a broken window (exterior pain and half the latch ). The shower (ADA) is new with the new grout not cleaned off the wall. Two light bulbs missing or out which were promptly and happily fixed by manager. Nothing in the exercise room worked. Place is being remodeled. I guess you get what you pay for. Bed was comfy and people nice.

Perfect for one night. We had a good night of sleep before getting back on the road. It was dog friendly with an easy exit to go outside to take my dog out, and the staff was super friendly!

Exactly what we needed for an overnight stop moving from Wisconsin to California. Had a nice hot tub and the room allowed us to have our two cats which was the most important. It’s surrounded by mountains and there is a gas station right next door.

TV remote didn't work , had a broken chair in our room , room smelled like smoke and it's non smoking, pillows were really poor, weeds all over, no elevator and my husband missed the last step and fell. Carpet on steps black and lighting poor.

This place was terrible. Smelled like sewage outside. Lots of random people just hanging around outside. Cops rolled through as we were unloading. Checkin was a 20 min process. All of our rooms smelled terrible and were dirty. All bedding had rips, stains and cigarette burns.

Staff was nice but would not allow a 1 hour late check out unless I payed another $60. The halls, staircase, room floors were dirty. The shower had horrible hard water stains and not very clean. The bathroom has black mold and whole room smelled musty. Staircase and halls smelled horrible.

Clean, very comfortable beds. We like the biscuits and gravy breakfast with a sweet roll, but you could also have waffles cereal or toast. It was quiet when we stayed and the staff was friendly.

My son, partner, and I stayed here for a brief few hours as we made our way across the country on a move back to the east coast. We arrived late and had been traveling for 14 hours with our dogs. The room smelled of cat urine and a completely overpowering cleaner (which I assume was to try and cover up the cat urine smell). I have never stayed somewhere that smelled as bad as this room did. The gentleman at the front desk had already seemed like we were a bother and we were too exhausted to go ask for a different room. We woke up with headaches and headed out as quickly as possible. Would not stay here again.

The TV did not work. He came in and fixed it, but the volume still did not work and I had to unplug it to shut it off. Very limited breakfast not much to choose from the room itself was nice and they were friendly and helpful.

The Expedia app rated this property at 8.0. I do not feel that is accurate at all. The lady at the desk took my name and started to check me and the phone rang. She answered it. From the side of the conversation I heard, the caller was another customer who was looking for a room. The desk worker spent at least 10 minutes talking and arranging their stay. I don’t know if her phone did not have a “hold” button or why I and the other gentleman that came in behind me were left to wait while she helped the caller, but I was surprised and disappointed that she would deal with a caller and not 2 live customers standing in front of her. The whole check in process took between 15 and 20 minutes. We were given a room on the second floor. There was no elevator so we were directed to the stairs. The stairway was carpeted in black carpet and dimly lit so we were cautious going up. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean-ish. The corners were grubby and the shower fixtures were very stained with hard water deposits and/or soap scum. There was duct tape over a broken light switch in the main part of the room and one of the arms to a chair was broken off and the bolt that held it to chair was still sticking out. We had stayed the night before in a hotel rated 8.0 on Expedia. If that hotel was indeed an 8.0, this Rodeway Inn should have been a 5.5 at best.

I appreciated Helen, the Front Desk Manager, she went up and above to complete her tasks. The hotel was booked because of a Christian concert held locally and she stayed the night to make sure all guests were checked in and comfortable.

This hotel is a scam. Payed and booked the room and they wouldn’t give me one and told me to cancel through hotels.com . but when i did that, i didn’t get a refund because apparently the hotel wasn’t responding. both hotels.com & this particular hotel are EXTREMELY unprofessional. save your money and go somewhere else .

I liked the convenience of being near the highway. We got to the property and checked in. The lady at the desk saw that we made a reservation online and she couldn't get the 3rd party (Expedia) card inputted correctly. It took us 45 minutes to check in. We booked a 1st floor floor room and ended up on the second fukuoka. The room sink and wasn't very clean. My husband felt like there were bugs crawling on him all night but got up and there were none to be seen. The need was uncomfortable. The food the next morning was very basic and edible,. I don't usually complain, but will never stay there again.

Check in was a breeze. Clerk was very nice. Property is clean and well maintained. It appears that they are swapping out the televisions for larger ones. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was a little short but we got by.. The surrounding area is a little run down, but you can’t fault the hotel for that. We would definitely stay there again.

When we walked in the desk clerk said there was not a reservation for us. Apparently, Expedia never sent them the reservation. The gentleman, Victor, put us in a room at the Expedia price. He even talked with their customer service 2 or 3 times before I told Expedia to refund me. The room was nice. Mostly, quiet. There was some construction in front of the hotel that made getting around to places tricky. Otherwise a great location for the price.

For the price, this was a nice place to stay. Bed was comfortable. Room temp was perfect and clean. Quiet. The hallway/stair carpet definitely needed to be vacuumed. Breakfast consisted of juices, coffee, bisquits and gravy, waffles, yogurt, apples, cold cereal and milk, a few individually packaged pastries, bread for toast.

We stayed for one night. Comfortable bed. Room was clean. It took a visit from the manager to get the TV to work. Good fridge. Surprisingly good breakfast.

Checked in sent me to dirty used room, got another room sheets were not clean and hole in bathroom door with stickers covering. Then got up in morning and continental breakfast wasn’t available because “breakfast” person didn’t show up.

Clean, very comfortable beds. We like the biscuits and gravy breakfast with a sweet roll, but you could also have waffles cereal or toast. It was quiet when we stayed and the staff was friendly.

The TV did not work. He came in and fixed it, but the volume still did not work and I had to unplug it to shut it off. Very limited breakfast not much to choose from the room itself was nice and they were friendly and helpful.

Very happy with stay, I am traveling back to CA after a long work contract and stopped here at 1130pm with my two dogs to sleep. Bed and pillows so so comfortable and everything top notch clean. Room even had microwave & fridge with 2 beds for only $63 a night and very safe.

Reviewed as a great breakfast. It is not. Coffee and juices are all watered down. Basic continental with frozen biscuits and water gravy and a waffle maker. Quite disappointing actually. Property seemed clean, but the rooms had a smell. The lobby smelled nice. To bad they don't make the rooms smell better also. Reviews do not match up. Staff was to themselves, however we did not need anything and they did accommodate us for a 130am check in which was very kind.

It was a safe area to spend the night. The room itself needed a deep clean, the tv did not work and the latch to lock the door was broken. In the morning, no one was at the front desk while breakfast was being served. Several guests were in need of help and couldn’t find anyone around for the 30 minutes my family was eating breakfast. The price was inflated due to the busy season & last minute booking. Absolutely not worth the price I paid.
