Our family of six, ages ranging from infant to grandparent, enjoyed our 5 night stay here! The house was clean and well stocked. Plenty of room for all of us! It was great to have a crib as we didn't need to haul our pack and play. The room with the crib does not allow for great temperature control for various reasons, but it did not seem to bother our little one. Just something to keep in mind. We always bring a couple of box fans, so that helped with air flow. The hosts were super friendly and communicated promptly - no issues just general discussion. The location is superb. We walked downtown frequently, and it's a quick and easy drive to the main attractions, as well as those off the beaten path. We would return!

The space was perfect for our family. Sufficient dishes, towels, etc. the beds were comfortable as was the living room space. Questions were answered immediately. Easy to check in/out. Will definitely stay at this property again!

We had a great stay over a holiday weekend. This house was great with small kids (assuming they can navigate stairs safely) with lots of games, books, and new toya to play with. Having a nursery with a crib was a huge plus because we didn’t have to bring a pack & play! Plenty of space when family came over for dinner & a movie.

We had a great stay at the property it was clean and well stocked! We traveled with an infant and no details were missed a crib, extra crib sheets, tissues, toys! The trip was a success and we will be returning to this house again!

This is my favorite VRBO home yet! Very well appointed home and decorated so nice. Everything was great quality, super clean, and lots of extras--lamps with charging ports, extra blankets, fans in bedrooms, snacks etc. Neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk around and see the unique homes (and to get some ice cream downtown!) If I ever return to the Alpena area, would definitely stay here again!

This was our 1st VRBO experience. We came to town for our daughter’s wedding; We needed lodging to accommodate 4 adults and 2 young children. This home was perfect for us, clean and cozy, well stocked. The 2 young children (ok, the adults too) enjoyed the toaster to make waffles by morning and the fire pit to make s’mores by night. We’ll likely return if our daughter continues to live in Alpena!

Charming updated two story house in a quiet neighborhood less than 3 minutes to restaurants, shopping, shipwreck tour boat, museums, and more. House was spotless, beds are comfy, couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to explore Alpena and surrounds. Would recommend!!

Great house within walking distance to downtown Alpena. Family of 6 stayed here for an extended weekend while visiting Rockport and seeing the fall colors. House was clean and had everything we needed. The communication with the host was excellent. Would definitely recommend!!

Our son got married this weekend. This place was centrally located to everywhere we needed to go. We couldn’t have found a better house. It was amazing. So clean and well decorated. Had everything we needed to make our stay more enjoyable. I would recommend this house to everyone. The hosts response time to any questions is almost immediate. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Made the wedding weekend a little more perfect.

The home was easy to find and clean and well stocked when we arrived. The owner/manager was very responsive to any questions prior to arrival. The neighborhood is quite and inviting. Just FYI, while the listing says 5 beds, if you have three couples, you should know only two of them are double beds or larger. The rest are twins or a crib. My wife and I haven\'t slept on a twin bed together for over 28 years and we soon found out why (and I am 6\'4" tall)! This was our fault and not the fault of the owner, we just didn\'t catch on through the listing.

We went to Ocqueoc Falls, the limestone quarry at Rogers City, Rockport State Park, browsed the shops in Alpena, and saw the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center and Besser Museum.

My husband and his bowling team were in Alpena for a bowling tournament. They said the house was very well renovated, clean, plenty of space and loved the kitchen! They were even excited to go grocery shopping to “cook at home” while they were there instead of going out every night because it didn’t feel like a hotel at all. Will probably book again if it’s available for tournament next year!

My wife and I wanted to get away for awhile to relax and look for fossils. The home was very clean and the owners thought of everything. If you forgot something, they probably had it available in the house. Communication was top notch and again really appreciate the attention to details.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The hosts were very easy to work with and quick to respond. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. The location to the beach is great and it was just a 25 minute drive to visit the Rockport State Recreation Area for fossil hunting. A great stay.

Charming updated two story house in a quiet neighborhood less than 3 minutes to restaurants, shopping, shipwreck tour boat, museums, and more. House was spotless, beds are comfy, couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to explore Alpena and surrounds. Would recommend!!

Great house within walking distance to downtown Alpena. Family of 6 stayed here for an extended weekend while visiting Rockport and seeing the fall colors. House was clean and had everything we needed. The communication with the host was excellent. Would definitely recommend!!

The property was very clean and the location was great with a short walk to downtown and the beach/parks. I traveled with my 11 month son so it was great to have a crib in one of the rooms!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The hosts were very easy to work with and quick to respond. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. The location to the beach is great and it was just a 25 minute drive to visit the Rockport State Recreation Area for fossil hunting. A great stay.

We had a great weekend in Alpena, in town celebrating a wedding. The house was perfect in every way! Great location, perfect size rooms, clean and fully furnished! Would highly recommend and would stay again!

This is my favorite VRBO home yet! Very well appointed home and decorated so nice. Everything was great quality, super clean, and lots of extras--lamps with charging ports, extra blankets, fans in bedrooms, snacks etc. Neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk around and see the unique homes (and to get some ice cream downtown!) If I ever return to the Alpena area, would definitely stay here again!

This was our 1st VRBO experience. We came to town for our daughter’s wedding; We needed lodging to accommodate 4 adults and 2 young children. This home was perfect for us, clean and cozy, well stocked. The 2 young children (ok, the adults too) enjoyed the toaster to make waffles by morning and the fire pit to make s’mores by night. We’ll likely return if our daughter continues to live in Alpena!

My husband and his bowling team were in Alpena for a bowling tournament. They said the house was very well renovated, clean, plenty of space and loved the kitchen! They were even excited to go grocery shopping to “cook at home” while they were there instead of going out every night because it didn’t feel like a hotel at all. Will probably book again if it’s available for tournament next year!

When something came up with our ‘original plans’ and where our family was going to stay- I reached out to Jennie. She helped me find a home that would suit our families needs on very short notice. The home was perfectly prepared with the comforts from home- yet the nice clean, crisp hotel feel…. Just better(because our family had our own space). Such a cute neighborhood and very quiet neighbors. Our family is very much looking forward to staying in one of their homes again. Our doggy Benny even approved!!! A

The coffee maker doesn’t work. The doors upstairs are very noisy. The couch is difficult to get off and on. We love the place regardless!
