The hotel is in excellent condition, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff are very nice and try to make stay very pleasant. Overall my wife and I really enjoyed our three nigh start at Akyra. I would definitely stay there again if I ever come back to Chaing Mai

Staff was amazing. Food was very good as well. Pool was somewhat small with only four chairs available. Also, not a big deal but there were no towel holders in the bathroom, no iron and only one toilet paper!

My friends and I stay here in February 18-21, The room is beautiful, the staffs was amazing and helpful, polite. The location is very convenient. I only give 4 stars because of the functions in the room is very unpractical the bathtub have half windows so I can hear all the outside noise while taking a bath which is not relaxing, no side table next to the bed but there in spots from both side of the bed to put things like your phone etc, having a hard time with the light on and off, The restaurant is in front of the hotel so it’s not very private , The pool is a little small and not enough lounge chairs but overall we had a great time in Chiang Mai, The room is clean and comfortable bed. The location is fantastic

Akyra Manor Chiang Mai is an amazing hotel with spacious luxury rooms and facilities on a quiet side street but within walking distance to all the action. All the staff members are very polite, friendly, and welcoming, and speak English well. A special thank you to the young front desk gentleman who tirelessly helped me to confirm a flight booking. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Akyra Manor Chiang Mai is an amazing hotel with spacious luxury rooms and facilities on a quiet side street but within walking distance to all the action. Gorgeous hotel! Very modern and chic. One of the hipest hotels I’ve stayed in. Excellent location with dining and bars and shopping at your doorstep. Charming and attentive staff!

My husband and I enjoyed staying 6-nights at this hotel in the Manor Suite. We found it had a Boujee Boutique vibe and was perfect for that "getaway" vibe. Breakfast was included, and we could eat from the buffet and/or order two dishes from the menu. Everything was delicious. We ate in the main restaurant one night for dinner and enjoyed that also. But we frequented the rooftop bar/pool area at night quite often. 😅 The bartender was very nice and social. The drinks were fancy and tasted nice. The "bar food" was posh and delicious! The area the hotel is located is very safe to walk around. It's actually the more upscale area of Chiang Mai central. Loads of locals and expats live in the area, so there's plenty of reasonably priced places to eat, drink, and use good cafe wifi. Needing to work while traveling, we found the size of our suite adequate enough with the powerful wifi included to not need to go out too often... Only for sightseeing, night markets, shopping, etc. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. It's in a great location, great staff, everything you need for a city stay. Oh, and the hotel shuttle pickup from the airport was awesome and I would definitely recommend it.

I really wanted to like this property because I thought the concept was cool. The only good things were the location, the staff (great service!) and the breakfast (which was pretty average). Unfortunately, it missed so many other marks that it didn't balance out. First, the design of the room makes no sense- the bath tub in the middle divides the room into a weird shape & limits the space in the room. Also, having the bathtub outside meant we were constantly letting mosquitos into the room when the door opens because there is no real barrier. Plus the bath tub over looked another building so if the shade wasn't down, people could see right in but if the shade was down then it was stuffy. The shades that block off the room are controlled by a switch on the wall, so the night we had a big storm that knocked out power, we couldn't lower the shades & were stuck with light shining through from outside & from the emergency lights in the hotel. Next, the room smelled horrible- especially in the hallway right as we entered the room. The room was clean-ish but there were fingerprints all over the dark surfaces and on the mirrors. The black interior makes the rooms and hallways gloomy- not sexy as implied. We stayed in the building that was connected to the restaurant and the restaurant door stays open at all times so anyone can just walk in even when there is no staff there. This was especially concerning at night because there is a dark hallway near the elevators.

Die Zimmer waren dunkel , Fenster nicht zu öffnen. Das Personal war überaus freundlich - allerdings wurde uns beim Check in ( wir konnten erst um 15uhr einchecken ) weder etwas zu trinken oder eine Alternative geboten um die lange Wartezeit zu überbrücken .

Very friendly and helpful staff. The area is very noisy with music till late from bar across the road and planes. Room was a good size and comfortable bed. Could do with updating some of the furnishing and would suggest sound proof glass where bathtub with iption to open/close window.

The hotel is nice however the room layout is not so good. The light enter through the hot-tub area. There is not closets to put the your clothing in. The staff were not so accommodating as well.

Convenient location to check out Nimman area like No.1 Nimman or night market nearby. It’s also not far from the night food market at Chiang Mai University. The only thing matters me from the facility is that it is so close to the next resident building so the window blinds off day and night. Not friendly natural light for the girls who want to make up. Hence, we ran out of the toilet paper on the 1st day and no spare one in the bathroom cabinet. It took them a while to send the spare one to the room. Beds and mattress comfy to delivery a good sleep. So good option for 1 night stay.

Die Zimmer waren dunkel , Fenster nicht zu öffnen. Das Personal war überaus freundlich - allerdings wurde uns beim Check in ( wir konnten erst um 15uhr einchecken ) weder etwas zu trinken oder eine Alternative geboten um die lange Wartezeit zu überbrücken .

Our stay did not start well: bedsheet was shorter than the bed, wind blowing onto face when sleeping, lamp out-of-order. We left comment with Hotel.com’s check-in survey online before we went for breakfast. Oat found us, inquired our problems & fixed everything before we returned to the Hotel in the evening. That improved overall ranking fr 2 to 5.

The hotel has a great location in the Nimman area - conveniently within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and the One Nimman mall. All of the staff were amazing; extremely kind and attentive. The room itself was relatively standard, no complaints.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The area is very noisy with music till late from bar across the road and planes. Room was a good size and comfortable bed. Could do with updating some of the furnishing and would suggest sound proof glass where bathtub with iption to open/close window.

Staff was amazing. Food was very good as well. Pool was somewhat small with only four chairs available. Also, not a big deal but there were no towel holders in the bathroom, no iron and only one toilet paper!

Das Frühstück ist leider eines 5 Sterne Hotels unwürdig. Täglich hartes Brot, sehr begrenzte Auswahl an Früchten (nur Melone Wassermelone und Dragon fruit) und auch irgendwie nicht die richtige Auswahl auf der Speisekarte. Eier kalt serviert, da früh morgens zubereitet und dann kalt auf den Teller. Die Aufteilung der eigentlich grossen Zimmer ist so dass man das Gefühl hat eingeengt zu sein. Überall unnütze Raumteiler.

I really wanted to like this property because I thought the concept was cool. The only good things were the location, the staff (great service!) and the breakfast (which was pretty average). Unfortunately, it missed so many other marks that it didn't balance out. First, the design of the room makes no sense- the bath tub in the middle divides the room into a weird shape & limits the space in the room. Also, having the bathtub outside meant we were constantly letting mosquitos into the room when the door opens because there is no real barrier. Plus the bath tub over looked another building so if the shade wasn't down, people could see right in but if the shade was down then it was stuffy. The shades that block off the room are controlled by a switch on the wall, so the night we had a big storm that knocked out power, we couldn't lower the shades & were stuck with light shining through from outside & from the emergency lights in the hotel. Next, the room smelled horrible- especially in the hallway right as we entered the room. The room was clean-ish but there were fingerprints all over the dark surfaces and on the mirrors. The black interior makes the rooms and hallways gloomy- not sexy as implied. We stayed in the building that was connected to the restaurant and the restaurant door stays open at all times so anyone can just walk in even when there is no staff there. This was especially concerning at night because there is a dark hallway near the elevators.

My husband and I enjoyed staying 6-nights at this hotel in the Manor Suite. We found it had a Boujee Boutique vibe and was perfect for that "getaway" vibe. Breakfast was included, and we could eat from the buffet and/or order two dishes from the menu. Everything was delicious. We ate in the main restaurant one night for dinner and enjoyed that also. But we frequented the rooftop bar/pool area at night quite often. 😅 The bartender was very nice and social. The drinks were fancy and tasted nice. The "bar food" was posh and delicious! The area the hotel is located is very safe to walk around. It's actually the more upscale area of Chiang Mai central. Loads of locals and expats live in the area, so there's plenty of reasonably priced places to eat, drink, and use good cafe wifi. Needing to work while traveling, we found the size of our suite adequate enough with the powerful wifi included to not need to go out too often... Only for sightseeing, night markets, shopping, etc. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. It's in a great location, great staff, everything you need for a city stay. Oh, and the hotel shuttle pickup from the airport was awesome and I would definitely recommend it.

An absolutely beautiful hotel with really incredible staff. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I came here with my husband as part of our honeymoon, and the staff was so generous by providing us a celebratory welcome treat. The hotel’s location made it really easy to take a taxi into old city and walk around Nimman. The tours the hotel had to recommend were absolutely amazing - we did a full day excursion in Doi Inthanon and it was a major highlight of our 3 week trip! Our hotel room was very comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. There were plenty of outlets that were compatible without U.S. appliances. The complementary breakfast was nice and had a lot of options. The quality and flavor of the food over the four days we were there varied. The staff at this hotel are phenomenal. Especially Oi, Preen and Oat. I took a premier suite. The room is so spacious and I loved the layout. Water pressure in the shower is very good and the amenities were of a really good quality. Breakfast was nice but bit more variety at the buffet would be nice. There was a lot of pork offerings but someone who doesn't eat pork it would have been nice to have some smoked salmon or more cheese selection to go with the bread and croissants. However, their a la carte breakfast offerings were very good - Thai and English dishes available. I would not hesitate in coming back to this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and they were able to get me into my room much earlier than I was expecting. I liked that it felt like a smaller boutique hotel - a nice departure from the large hotels I stayed at during my Thailand trip. The rooftop bar was cozy and drinks were well made. I did not use the pool. The room was unique with the split bathroom feeling like being outside. The walls may have been a little thin because the noise was somewhat noticeable.. and the gym was poor and with a strange setup in the basement.. those two knocks give it a 4 star experience but I really enjoyed the stay here in the Nimman area.
