We enjoyed the house very much, all of us are seniors and it would have helped if the back and front stairways had hand rails. We enjoyed the privacy, amenities and furnishings that the house offered. The large gazebo was a gathering place for our group.

Had a great time. Stayed with my siblings and their families. The kids enjoyed the game room and hot tub. The multi level deck was awesome to hang out on. Roasting smores over the firepit was a great way to end the evening

This gem has it all! Whether a soak in the spacious hot tub under the stars to sitting around the fire table out on 1 of 3 levels of deck & even in the rain as it is covered. Playing a game of ping pong or cornhole in the game-room or one of many board games provided or cooking a meal in the beautiful fully stocked kitchen to just lounging & watching a movie on the big screen. Check In & Out process was simple & communication too-notch. Highly recommend - Don’t hesitate - You won’t disappointed!

What a wonderful rental! The cabin presents as pictured. It is clean, comfortable, and well stocked with all the necessities. It is set up for relaxing fun~ whether you are in the hot tub, playing cornhole in the yard, or using the gameroom. The Great Room and large porch (with rockers) are the perfect spots for lounging and conversation. And the large dining table was perfect for meals and games. Thank you, April, for offering such a beautiful spot to connect with those who matter the most!

This property was exactly how it was depicted in the listing!! April was an amazing host who was always in contact with us. The property was beautiful and had a tucked away log cabin feel. Three level deck, controlled fire pit and hot tub were exciting. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay near Louisville. The beds (and pillows!) were comfy and the central air ran efficiently the whole time....a welcome relief after some hot days exploring the area. The kitchen and game room were fully stocked! We spent quiet mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee and nights by the firepit roasting marshmallows! We had one very, very small issue that came up but April responded immediately and the problem was solved! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

There was something there for every age! My granddaughters loved going to the creek and looking for treasures! They also loved playing hide and seek with so many different places to hide. The adults loved playing ping pong and corn hole! We also loved making smores at the fire pit and most especially the hot tub. Would definitely stay there again! April, our host, was very responsive!

This place was amazing!! Beautiful, spacious, clean, modern and a feeling of home all in one. Very relaxing and luxurious! I loved our bed, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud!! The awesome showers and jetted tub pampered us in the mornings, and the hot tub melted away our stress at night watching the shooting stars go by. S'more at fire pit were enjoyed by all. Nice supply of games were entertaining for the kids as well. April was a great host and communicated with us anytime we had a question. Loved, loved, loved our stay here!!

We booked a year ahead and there were constant communications the entire time with owner April! My wife turned 60 and she wanted to attend Kentucky Derby with family and friends! April had home decorations and gifts upon arrival! What a Suprise! The place was so clean and well taken care of. Perfect outdoor sitting areas and we grilled every night. Jacuzzi was nice and bathrooms are really cool. She gave me names to drivers for Derby and Cake maker for wife's birthday which were both outstanding! Any questions I had she answered promptly and was so nice! Thank you, April, for the best experience ever! Would love to stay again! this is definitely a gem!

We were amazed at how clean the cabin is. Floor to ceiling tile and three bathrooms and all were pristine . We had crawlers and the carpets were clean no dirty kneecaps. The host was thoughtful with regard to how the place was furnished and the amenities available. Great place to stay.

This property was absolutely outstanding! Everything was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The owner truly thought of every small detail — from the thoughtful amenities to the cozy touches that made it feel like home.We absolutely loved spending time on the decks and relaxing in the hot tub — the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, but this one easily ranks in our top three. The location was peaceful, the home was perfectly maintained, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish.Highly recommend — if ever in the area again we’ll definitely be back!

The cabin was remarkable, beautiful and very clean. It was a perfect setting for a "girls weekend." We had a blast sitting on the deck around the firepit all Saturday afternoon while wine tasting and conversing. I found solace on the front porch early in the morning just taking in all the sounds of nature (birds, owls, stream). Would highly recommend! We are already talking about returning next fall!

Spent Christmas week in cabin with my extended family. It was a wonderful stay, clean, comfortable with plenty of space for the 9 of us. We enjoyed the peace, the stunning deck, and luxury bathrooms. The host was so sweet and quick to respond to and solve any questions we had. We also really appreciated the Christmas decorations, we have been doing Christmas trips for a few years now and this was the first cabin that had a tree up. Really made Christmas feel like Christmas!

We stayed at this location from 5/23 to 5/26 for our anniversary. From booking the place to the day of our return everything was perfectly handled by our host who msged us and kept s clear line of correspondence. The place was immaculately clean and well stocked . The grill had a full tank of propane and the hot tub as well as the fire pit were in excellent condition. We would definitely come back to visit again with family and friends. Its a bit big for just 2 people lol. Great place and the gate in the front is a cool look with extra safety.

Our family of four had a wonderful 4-night stay. Check-in was easy with the lock box and each of our teenage kids had their own room which they loved. The pictures were very accurate and we looked forward to the hot tub each night after visiting Kentucky Kingdom, Holiday World, Mega Cavern and the Indiana Caverns. Just be aware rolling a heavy suitcase to the front door can be difficult as the rocky pathway and the large rock step into the front door may be difficult for older people to navigate. Some of the bedroom windows do not have shades which didn't bother me, but others may not enjoy the early morning sunny wake up. There are also train tracks nearby and a train whistle you may hear if you're a light sleeper. April provided us with snacks and drinks and even small soap bars in the bathrooms to get our trip easily started. It was nice to disconnect a bit as the wi-fi is not terribly fast in the cabin... a disappointment for my ever-connected kids, but fine with me. The cell service you get here was decent so I did not mind using that when needed. But I do like to include these details in my review for future guests so they can plan ahead and also have an enjoyable stay. It was an excellent time for us and would not hesitate to go back again. Thank you!

Stone Creek Cabin was the perfect place for our family to get away from it all. With plenty of porches, decks and outdoor seating we read and spent time outside. With the games, kitchen and abundant space, we enjoyed time together inside. Everyone had their own room to retreat to when they wanted time alone. We found the cabin much nicer than what the pictures can convey. We had a great time and want to go back in the future.
Stone Creek Cabin was the perfect place for our family to get away from it all. With plenty of porches, decks and outdoor seating we read and spent time outside. This place was amazing!! Beautiful, spacious, clean, modern and a feeling of home all in one. Very relaxing and luxurious! I loved our bed, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud!! The awesome showers and jetted tub pampered us in the mornings, and the hot tub melted away our stress at night watching the shooting stars go by. S'more at fire pit were enjoyed by all. We booked a year ahead and there were constant communications the entire time with owner April! My wife turned 60 and she wanted to attend Kentucky Derby with family and friends! April had home decorations and gifts upon arrival! What a Suprise! The place was so clean and well taken care of. Perfect outdoor sitting areas and we grilled every night. Jacuzzi was nice and bathrooms are really cool. She gave me names to drivers for Derby and Cake maker for wife's birthday which were both outstanding! Any questions I had she answered promptly and was so nice! Thank you, April, for the best experience ever! Would love to stay again! this is definitely a gem!

Great place for a getaway for two families of four. Enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit (s’mores), and the games in the garage. Golfed at Champions Pointe and found a good hiking trail at KT Pixley. Host was super responsive and was able to accommodate an early check-in.

This gem has it all! Whether a soak in the spacious hot tub under the stars to sitting around the fire table out on 1 of 3 levels of deck & even in the rain as it is covered. Playing a game of ping pong or cornhole in the game-room or one of many board games provided or cooking a meal in the beautiful fully stocked kitchen to just lounging & watching a movie on the big screen. Check In & Out process was simple & communication too-notch. Highly recommend - Don’t hesitate - You won’t disappointed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stone Creek! It's a large cabin and every room was spotless! The beds (and pillows!) were comfy and the central air ran efficiently the whole time....a welcome relief after some hot days exploring the area. The kitchen and game room were fully stocked! We spent quiet mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee and nights by the firepit roasting marshmallows! We had one very, very small issue that came up but April responded immediately and the problem was solved! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Property and house were exactly as described and even more beautiful in person. The best part of the whole stay was, April, the homeowner. There were a couple small things needed in the kitchen and she had them replaced immediately. More importantly she communicated with us. We loved our stay and using it as "headquarters" for our daughter's wedding. Beautiful experience. Thank you. Hope to stay again.

We stayed at this location from 5/23 to 5/26 for our anniversary. From booking the place to the day of our return everything was perfectly handled by our host who msged us and kept s clear line of correspondence. The place was immaculately clean and well stocked . The grill had a full tank of propane and the hot tub as well as the fire pit were in excellent condition. We would definitely come back to visit again with family and friends. Its a bit big for just 2 people lol. Great place and the gate in the front is a cool look with extra safety.

The property is peaceful and beautiful! House is as pictured!! The garage game room was a plus! There are many outdoor sitting areas and plenty of room inside the house. Our family of ten enjoyed the visit. We spent time at Deam Lake, a very nice nature area. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

We loved everything about this house!!! It was just close enough to the city but have that "country" vibe. So relaxing. The house had so many games, puzzles, and other activities our kids were so entertained they didn't want to go adventure around town.

This property was exactly how it was depicted in the listing!! April was an amazing host who was always in contact with us. The property was beautiful and had a tucked away log cabin feel. Three level deck, controlled fire pit and hot tub were exciting. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay near Louisville. Oh…and check out the movie that was filmed at Stone Creek. A fun movie experience knowing it was filmed in the home. Definitely a 5/5 star review! Thanks April.

The owner truly thought of every small detail — from the thoughtful amenities to the cozy touches that made it feel like home.We absolutely loved spending time on the decks and relaxing in the hot tub — the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, but this one easily ranks in our top three. Stone Creek was just as described. Very enjoyable experience. Group of friends came out to see the National Farm machinery show and we weren’t looking to stay in the city this was just perfect for that.

We stayed at the cabin for a family vacation. We went to 2 different caves, visited the science center for kids in Louisville, went to several different parks, went to Hubers family farm and orchard where the kids had a blast in the kids park, and we went to the splash pad in downtown Louisville. The kids had a great time. We also enjoyed spending time at the cabin where the kids could run around the yard, ride bikes and scooters on the driveway and we made a sidewalk chalk obstacle course on the driveway for the kids to enjoy. We were hoping the kids could play in the creek but unfortunately it has been dry there and so it was dried up during our stay. Overall we had a great time. The cabin was amazing and fit our family well.

This cabin was a phenomenal place for my brother’s bachelor party. We had a party of 9 and it was the perfect size with plenty of rooms and things to do. We used the fire pit, played cornhole and ping pong, and fired up the grill for a steak dinner. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our group. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean and cozy. We loved the outdoor space especially. I will say the step to get into the house was steep, so if you have mobility issues, it may be a challenge. The 3 bedrooms upstairs share one, very large bathroom which was fine for the 5 adults on our trip. There is a toilet in its own room, a huge double sink and a large vanity for us to spread out our stuff. The hot tub was great, showers had good pressure, and kitchen was well stocked. We are already making plans to return next year!
