It’s a gorgeous property with lux yet calm decor, comfortable bed and lovely fittings. There was some renovation work happening while we were there and the gym not open in the mornings but when accessed in the afternoon we found a terrific gym set up. The restaurant in which we had breakfast and dined one evening has a lovely atmosphere however could have used at least one additional wait staff and a speedy barista on duty in the morning. Staff were all very helpful.

Absolutely beautiful decor and so lovely to be in a renovated old-world building. Pool was fabulous and had a rail going down the steps into the pool, which is great for those with mobility issues like mine. Sadly the spa was not available as it was undergoing maintenance. I'm not sure how easy it would be to get into though but maybe that is being addressed by the maintenance activity. Sauna is a dry sauna and even after 45 minutes I was not sweating. So, it would be good if you could add water to the rocks. It was great that shower/bathrooms were available to use near the pool and gym and they are spacious. Gym was good too. Room we stayed in was lovely and while not large was an adequate size. Overall this is a lovely place to stay.

A lovely stay was had a Berida. We felt quite spoilt. Our room was very comfortable, facilities incl pool and gym were excellent as was the staff. The "icing on the cake" was the quality of the food presented at dinner and breakfast.

Lovely hotel and convenient for a walk into town. Warm reception by staff and cute bars available. It’s a shame about the fact the pool and spa area has been out of action for months now and still looks in same state as it was when stayed here 4 months ago. However decor great/ average to good restaurant ( waited for meal for ages then both starters and main came almost on top of each other- would have preferred to wait in between courses). However all in all I would stay here again

Overall it was a lovely stay. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. However room layout was a bit odd (no table near a socket to boil a kettle and so had to boil the kettle by the bed side table). Service was a bit slow in the restaurant. The games room was great and so was the EV charger at the car park.

The property was beautiful and recommend to stay there. It’s peaceful and has everything there that you don’t need to leave. The only thing is that some of the main spa tiles could be replaced and pool floor needed a clean but next to it they are putting a new gym so could be things from there falling into pool. Loved this place and would go back there. Cute and elegant little town also.

Need a trolley to transport luggage. Very difficult to carry. Thankful that our room was changed to ground floor but a trolley would have been helpful. Hard to get luggage out of the car over a brick wall when parking is rear to kerb.

It is over priced. The room we got costs more than $400 per night. But it only has a small home aircon and not central heating. It was so noisy and could not sleep due to the aircon noise. Also the bathroom is freezing cold without any heating facilities. They did not change our towels. They just left all dirty towels in the bathroom. We are not definitly staying there again.

My 4day stay at Berida Hotel exceeded all my expectations in terms of friendly service, comfort, stylish & practical decor, great facilities, access to close bus service, cleanliness, and great food. The staff were exceptional. I have rarely felt so comfortable and at home as I did at the Berida, & I have stayed in a lot of international hotels.

Exceptional hotel, and service from friendly staff, king bed extremely comfortable, large bathroom fully renovated and very quiet overnight. Fantastic French inspired restaurant and period decor with all the quality finishes. Highly recommend this venue so much so that we retuned again 3 nights later!

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful French provincial decor, modern, clean and pretty. Staff are amazing. The bar and bistro are open all day and evening. The food and service at the on-site Bistro Sociale was impeccable. The one disappointment was we were in room 20 which is right next to a common seating area and people grouped there and talked loudly.

If staff gives you key to room #20 - refuse to check in. It's a dark sad broom closet overlooking dirty overgrown pathway with windows from another building right across it. Located in the middle of a lobby area with music pumping day and night and people passing by from the restaurant to the bar. The vibe of a cheap pub room and impossible to stay inside the room due to noise. The staff of this hotel follows the typical "you booked 1 night through expedia, so let's shove you into our worst room" pattern. Checked the availablity on the night we had checked in - rooms were available so clearly hotel had other rooms to offer that night. Will skip next time, should have booked Links or one of Peppers but was drawn to the design and their f&b outlets. Decided not to spend my $$ in their bar or restaurant as they clearly did not respect the $$ already spent on the room.

Very comfortable, great bed, good bathroom. Quiet. Water pressure in shower could be better. Good breakfast in the restaurant, but they could do freshly squeezed orange juice instead of the reconstituted orange juice which is undrinkable.

the property has a lovely ambience. excellent bar with great snacks and wines. However the noise when it was time to sleep was ridiculous. phone calls to reception and after hours numbers were ignored I would not recommend this establishment if rest is on your agenda.

We enjoyed our quiet getaway at Berida Hotel. The staff were very friendly, the room very comfortable and we appreciated the added touch of a nice bottle of bubbles to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary.

My 4day stay at Berida Hotel exceeded all my expectations in terms of friendly service, comfort, stylish & practical decor, great facilities, access to close bus service, cleanliness, and great food. The staff were exceptional. I have rarely felt so comfortable and at home as I did at the Berida, & I have stayed in a lot of international hotels.

Historic property in a central location. Comfortable beds in clean well appointed rooms. On-site restaurant, whiskey bar, games room and gym make it a great spot for family or friend groups. We found our room to be noisy which at the price point downgraded the rating to good rather than great.

Exceptional hotel, and service from friendly staff, king bed extremely comfortable, large bathroom fully renovated and very quiet overnight. Fantastic French inspired restaurant and period decor with all the quality finishes. Highly recommend this venue so much so that we retuned again 3 nights later!

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful French provincial decor, modern, clean and pretty. Staff are amazing. The bar and bistro are open all day and evening. The food and service at the on-site Bistro Sociale was impeccable. The one disappointment was we were in room 20 which is right next to a common seating area and people grouped there and talked loudly.

Lovely hotel and convenient for a walk into town. Warm reception by staff and cute bars available. It’s a shame about the fact the pool and spa area has been out of action for months now and still looks in same state as it was when stayed here 4 months ago. However decor great/ average to good restaurant ( waited for meal for ages then both starters and main came almost on top of each other- would have preferred to wait in between courses). However all in all I would stay here again

Very comfortable, great bed, good bathroom. Quiet. Water pressure in shower could be better. Good breakfast in the restaurant, but they could do freshly squeezed orange juice instead of the reconstituted orange juice which is undrinkable.

The restaurant is very good. We ate there two nights. Great gin and whiskey bars and with the open fire you can settle in for a few hours and relax.

Only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. Our room had a king bed but quite small bathroom with easy access to the bistro and the open fireplace. Breakfast was not included and was $30pp. You could request your eggs cooked to order. This is a lovely well maintained hotel. Special thank you to Harry who looked after us in the bistro for dinner which was excellent too. Not really walking distance to the shops. You really need a car. Highly recommended.
