Stayed at this property over memorial day weekend. Considering the price I paid (very high) the room was literally rotting. Mold, rust and even a broken room door were just the beginning. The entire property looks run down. The parking lot is an old, weedy tennis court. The front door was so broken you could see light coming through the crack in it and the bathroom was rotting apart. I would not recommend this property to anyone. If you are looking for a cheap, run down property at a premium price, then this is your place.

It was dirty and unkept. There were no directions to the office. The pool was green and a pair of rusty vice grips being used ineffectively as a way to stop a leaking facet. The breakfast awful.

The room was in need of modernisation but was comfortable and clean. The aircon was noisy. The pool area also looked rather tired and in need of some TLC. Parking was on the first come, first serve basis. Breakfast was provided but was minimal. There were plenty of restaurants nearby.

Office does not open in the morning and stays closed until 3:30 PM. Have to go to the office for ice, but was closed. Needs to be remodeled. Front door has a gap around it, so you could see a little bit outside.

Great price for the room, but the AC unit rattled loudly every time it turned on, the beds were springy and uncomfortable, and the pillows were not soft at all. Other than not getting any sleep due to the before mentioned things, the staff checking in was friendly, the pool was refreshing, but could have used a good skimming.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, which was a major plus. However, I felt that the property itself was in need of an upgrade, particularly considering the price point. Unfortunately, my room had a strong musty smell, which prompted me to purchase air fresheners to mask the odor. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that the pool closed at 7 pm, as this was one of the main amenities that drew me to this property. With some renovations and adjustments, I believe this hotel has the potential to exceed expectations.

It should be a crime to list a hotel room for rent that smells this musty. It made my lungs itch. This is housing for local service industry workers MASQUERADING as a hotel. You can tell by the bicycle chained outside one of the rooms, the deskstand outside another (by the street) with potted flowers and a used tired right beside it, as well as the window to one of the rooms on the opposite side of the reception office that’s decorated with knick knacks, stickers and other items. Obviously someone’s permanent housing. You don’t see any tourists walking around, in the pool or coming back from an excursion. I immediately asked Expedia and the hotel for a refund. The receptionist gave a reply that you can tell she’s had to say it over a hundred times “have to wait for manager on Monday”. We left within an hour or 2, booked a much nicer hotel last second right outside the newer hotel in the parking lot. Expedia should be embarrassed to list this room. If you go, check the posted images on the property’s page on Expedia. They threw in pictures of nice looking rooms (where’d they get those pictures?) mixed in with real pictures. Carpets haven’t been changed since Clinton administration. So to conclude: I left shortly after check in, had to book another hotel last minute and ended up paying for both hotels (absolutely worth it) because Key Largo Inn would not refund me.

I was in town for a wedding and my one night here was awful. I could barely breathe through the night because of the moisture or mold that was in the air. The bathroom was disgusting and there was no light and hair on the walls, the shower curtains looked like they’ve never been washed. Mold on lamp shades and ceiling. Ceiling tiles were sagging and molded. cable wires running up from the tv into the ceiling tiles. I honestly didn’t want to touch anything and if I could’ve gotten my money back I would’ve never stayed even the one night

Check in was easy, we stayed for 3 nights. Our room was super clean, every time we left in the morning we came back to clean towels, trash taken out, floors swept and mopped. Smelled so fresh. Pool is very clean. Small limited breakfast/snacks items that were perfect to start the morning. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend. The price is perfect if you don’t care about resort amenities. We came to explore not spend time in our room. Can’t wait to come back in May.

The inn is outdated but not terrible. There is no bathroom fan or exterior ventilation so there is a musty smell. We did not have loud neighbors but the walls are thin, so that can be problematic.

The owner was so nasty to us, acted like this was a 4star property when in fact it was decrepit, filthy, toilet tank didn’t have a cover. There were cobwebs and bugs, the bed had hair in it. The chair looked like it was moldy. Terrible.

Thomas was very rude. He checked us in. Acted like we were disturbing him. He got nicer when I asked his name and asked to speak to the manager. I’ll be writing the hotel direct about him. The property was clean but very old. Falling apart basically. Would never go back.

The staff argued with me about my service dog. I was treated absolutely horrible and denied a service dog I legally needed. When finally at a compromise on the dog I was denied my suite that I payed for stating dogs stay on bottom floor only. The room have no lights working. No ac. The door was completely off the track so you couldn’t keep air in room if you wanted I have video proof of everything. Also I was told I’m getting on the ladies nerves because I said I want to keep the suite we payed for. She said regular room is same price so no. Went to room trash everywhere. Overly dirty. Smelled like cigarettes. Horrible. We left and they refused to refund us.

We just needed a place for one night and this place fit the bill, definitely nothing fancy, and needs updating and maintenance, but the beds are comfortable. We sat by the pool for about an hour and a half and it is awfully noisy as it’s right next to the highway.

Older hotel, what I would call a motel. There was parking and overall it was clean and nice to sit at tables by the pool. Lots of trees and shade. Breakfast a little meager but that is the price of staying at a hotel for the best rate.

The room was in need of modernisation but was comfortable and clean. The aircon was noisy. The pool area also looked rather tired and in need of some TLC. Parking was on the first come, first serve basis. Breakfast was provided but was minimal. There were plenty of restaurants nearby.

We did not like the fact that there was too much light at night shining into the room. Breakfast and bar is misleading, breakfast was prepackaged pastries and yogurt, the bar was a mini fridge with beer and soda.The pool was nice.

Room was clean but needs some updating. A coat of paint would be good. Bed was very clean and comfortable and bathroom was clean. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Yoghurt, fruit or vegetable juice, banana or blueberry muffin or doughnut. Coffee and de caff coffee. Earl grey and green tea but no english breakfast tea. Swimming pool was very nice and ideal for a cool down and is safe for children as it is fenced in. Overall all fine for a one night stopover.

The hotel is old and run down. It needs some repairs and upgrades. The pool is nice but it needs to be cleaned more regularly due to its location. The free breakfast is just generic honey buns and apple juice. The pluses are the linens were cleaned and staff are pleasant.

Check in was easy, we stayed for 3 nights. Our room was super clean, every time we left in the morning we came back to clean towels, trash taken out, floors swept and mopped. Smelled so fresh. Pool is very clean. Small limited breakfast/snacks items that were perfect to start the morning. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend. The price is perfect if you don’t care about resort amenities. We came to explore not spend time in our room. Can’t wait to come back in May.

I love old vintage Florida motels. We enjoyed the pool, the staff was wonderful, the restaurant next door was fabulous. Everything very clean, quiet. And a great price.

We stayed for one night, a last minute booking on a holiday weekend, which meant we werent looking to break the bank. We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant that is on property. The room 112 was very dated. The bathroom should be torn out and redone immediately. The washcloths were rags, rough and fraying. However, the bedding was very clean and fresh.

I was very disappointed with our stay. The room looked like it had been left exactly as it was in the 1980s. The furniture, TVs, and overall condition were very outdated. There were no electrical outlets in the bedroom, which made it difficult to charge our phones or use any devices. The floor felt unstable and actually moved when we walked on it. The carpet was old, stained, and looked dirty. Another major issue was that the air conditioner was only in the living room, leaving the bedroom uncomfortably hot throughout the night. Because of these issues, we decided to cancel the second night of our reservation. Unfortunately, we were not refunded, even though the room was not suitable for us to stay in. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend staying here. If you’d like, I can also make it sound more forceful or more concise for Google Reviews.

They were not able to accommodate for a later check-in due to a delayed flight and pretty much told me to screw myself while not allowing me to get any sort of refund at all. Hotels need to deliver hospitality and accommodate for their clients. If you’re going to not allow me to check in then give me a refund. Horrible service and now my money is gone and I didn’t even stay there.
