Needed a safe, clean, quiet space for a work trip. Had everything I needed, no frills. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, desk space and WiFi was reliable. Coffee available all day, free washer/dryer, kitchenette in room with dishes and full fridge. There was even a nice, clean, shaded, quiet outdoor space to enjoy morning coffee. Didn’t need restaurants or shopping, though both were within reasonable driving distance. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Great stay!

There was urine on the bottom of the commode with hair stuck in it. They also did not refill the shampoo so when I got in the tub to take a shower, I had no shampoo. I took it off of the holder so maybe they will refill it for the next guest. I also only got one washcloth.

Solid property. I actually really enjoyed the studio aspect of it. The kitchen was extremely nice to have, as well as the FULL size fridge. We had lots of snacks and drinks, so it was nice to be able to keep it all chilled. As well as an ice maker in the freezer, it was a nice touch. The only thing that did bother me was the sticky floor when we got in, and the musty smell from the AC. Also, at no fault of the hotel but, the people that were staying above us… my god. They may as well have been elephants because they were stomping around back and forth for HOURS. And we were barely able to sleep our last night/morning there.

I had a horrible stay. The rest room was smelling like sewage. Roaches in the room. The furniture was dirty, i had to clean it up. The heater was not working, i informed them about it and they never fix it . The shower head was so dirty. The washing machine in the Landry facility was filty.i asked them to change My room, and they kept giving me stupid excuses. Please don't stay here.

Room was clean alot better than expected after reading google reviews will definitely be staying there again ,only advice i can give as hospitality manager is theirs hallway catpets can use some cleaning other than that i had a good experience with my stay.

The first floor smelled like animal pee. When we got to our room there was blood on the wall and a roach on the bed. When we first called about changing rooms they acted like there was no availability and to find another hotel. We couldn’t find another hotel, so we called back down to see if a room change was possible and suddenly it was. They had us email pictures of the blood and bug in order to have the room changed. The second room was much better, but smelled like a previous guest smoked in there and it was covered up with febreze.

We stayed at this property a year ago and sadly it has severely gone down hill since then. There was a musty smell throughout the whole building. The room was dirty; stains in the toilet and dirty handprints on doors and walls. Bed was springy and lumpy. We only stayed one night and couldn’t wait to leave.

We had a very nice room with a view of a pond. This room had a good sized kitchen with a regular refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. The bathroom and bedroom was very spacious. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area again.

Its so cozy, roomy, the studio room includes a full kitchen with oven, stove top, microwave, a full fridge, silverware etc, bathroom is clean and looks great!!! Theres also a full desk with chair tv! Ac is cold and its a non smoking location which made the stay a really fresh scent

Nice room, staff a bit aggressive. All guests should be treated like guests, not everyone is living there and knows hotel rules. Needed new towels, upon request was asked wheere are dirty towels. After returning to front desk, was then asked to bring towels 2 doors down.

From reserving the room thorough checkout, front desk and hotel supporting staff were wonderful. About 20 minutes from Jax Beach and Pier. Lots of places to eat 2 miles out and closer. I'll definitely stay again if in the area. I almost forgot. The main reason for staying there is they are pet friendly. Plenty of walking area and a lake/pond behind the hotel with easy access from within the hotel. Great place!

Nice stay. Everything was clean. The room was already cool; i really appreciated that. I advised the staff that my son was autistic and that he likes to jump. They immediately accommodated us and changed me to a room on the 1st floor.

It was a simple suite. No real need for any extras on the properly like breakfast as we had our own in room food. Staff was great. Food nearby and easy highway access to get where we needed to go. Would stay again. Only improvement: It would be nice to have a king bed instead of a queen bed.

Overall, I was very pleased with the visit. My room was very clean. The kitchen area was perfect for my needs. One of the reason I chose this property was because it was pet friendly and had a kitchen - I don't care to eat out. Check in and out was seamless. As I was walking my dog, I noticed they had social areas on the side and rear of the property.. I definitely would stay again. Last thing, I was there to visit a cousin, very close to Memorial Hospital. I was pleased with location.

The property falsely advertised their community. There wasn’t any breakfast available nor was there a pool; however, when booking it started it had both. Even the items to purchase for snacks were only diet drinks. My room didn’t have proper supplies. I had to go to the front desk to retrieve items that were basic like dish detergent. No cleaning service the entire time I was there. Will not recommend nor stay there ever again.

The hotel was clean and has been renovated, but not recently. I liked that I had a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Pots and skillets were provided if you feel the urge to cook. My only complaints are that they did not provide breakfast and the check in time is 4:00 instead of 3:00. They do have a laundry room which was convenient. Overall, I would stay here again.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The fact that we had a full kitchen was a bonus. We were able to make breakfast every morning. There were 2 outdoor seating areas to read or have a nice drink outdoors.

The suite was fantastic, front desk fantastic….. No pool or breakfast like advertised. Absolutely a deal breaker for me since that was a big reason for staying extra days….the pool.

Needed a safe, clean, quiet space for a work trip. Had everything I needed, no frills. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, desk space and WiFi was reliable. Coffee available all day, free washer/dryer, kitchenette in room with dishes and full fridge. There was even a nice, clean, shaded, quiet outdoor space to enjoy morning coffee. Didn’t need restaurants or shopping, though both were within reasonable driving distance. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Great stay!

Cheguei e a portaria estava fechada; fiquei 30 minutos aguardando para conseguir chegar na recepção. Recepcionista mal humorada. Quarto sujo; hotel e corredores sujos; encontrei uma barata na minha cama. Aí 1 semana antes de terminar meu período lá. Não tive nenhum ressarcimento dessas diárias.

Needed a late check The lady at the desk agreed. The next day at 11 a.m. the manager and staff were telling me to leave. No internet Convenience store wasn't staffed I haf to call to get pillows in the room when I checked in! Stains on the carpets I can document. The stains still stunk from vomit The bathrooms are new. However the floors are at least 1 inch higher causing a tripping hazard. I almost headed face first into the sink twice Poor.water pressure and hot water was a problem I have pictures.

Everyone at the front desk were amazing from the manager to Katherine and Joe. Thank you. There are renovations at the hotel and I believe they are expanding those renovations to the hotel entirely. The room was very clean and we appreciate it that, however there was a very unpleasant smell in the hallways. I will go back to this hotel. We really did like the staff. Thank you...

I've stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but this hotel has gone down - especially since Sonesta took over sometime last year! The room was decent, but upon check-in a notice was posted that renovations were underway in the laundry & gym. Too late for me to change or make other arrangements for a 4 day stay! This was not mentioned or stated in the reservations. The first floor hallway was blocked off & the air conditioner was off. The carpets were disgustingly dirty from construction traffic on top of the dirt & grime that was already there before construction started. The garbage was overflowing from all the receptacles causing a horrible stench throughout all 3 floors and the hallways. No one performed any hotel maintenance or cleaning over the weekend. The phone service does not work, and this Sonesta self-service hotel has no one working the front desk between 11 pm - 9 am. When Ispoke with the hotel manager about how nasty the hotel is, she offered no compensation, refund, or apologies for the hotels deplorable condition or my experience. This Jacksonville Sonesta hotel in particular is worthy of a -5 stars - that's a NEGATIVE FIVE STARS.
