Several entrance doors didn’t work with the key card so access was inconvenient. Room deadbolt lock didn’t work either. Front desk service and the breakfast were good.

The location was decent not much else great to say. All the grills by the pool were not working, the shower only has half a door and gets tons of water onto the floor, our room didn't have anything from the carpet to the tile in the bathroom and had nails popping up, the doors looked like they had mold on from all the water. 3 out of 4 of the Washing machines were out of order. Definitely needs some more upkeep. Having a full size fridge and the ice maker was nice. The air conditioning worked great.

The stay here was another watse of money and watse of our discount of 181. The property looked as if it was okay,until we started to relax. Pool was green and unswimmiable. We tried to watch a movie on the lay out couch bed it was broken. Left out to go working at the Jazz fest. Was accused of smoking in room. Had to show at that time we was not in room , was in uber heading downtown, showed time stamped videos and pictures. I have to record everything for work. So this was not a good place to stay. Only good thing was the breakfast and the employee that cooked it Ms.Cleanya was her name. She made it worth staying. We could enjoy amenities. They were not in working condition

Pros: Good location, really close to a big shopping center with lots of dining and shopping Only 10 min from Mayo Clinic Good price for the rooms Clean and nice that that the rooms have small kitchenettes Cons: $5 a day for parking, give me a break, it’s not like this place is in such a premium location that it warrants charging for parking Also the ice machine was broken the entire week we were here and I was told to just go buy my own ice, not a huge deal but kind of annoying, breakfast was subpar

Stay was excellent. Room was cozy. Breakfast had something different everyday but enough variety for everyone. Only down side was pool was green and we couldnt swim - glad we had enough other activities to keep us busy.

The PURE room was comfortable and clean for the most part except for a few sugar ants on the kitchen counter and the main bathroom counter. Im not sure where they were coming from but a little bleach and a good wipe down later seemed to get rid of them. The breakfast was good as well.

The room didn’t seem fresh, with the carpet and sofa having stains. The air conditioning would turn on and small black fuzz would come out onto the bed. One of the access doors did not work to enter the building so we had to walk around to a further entrance.

We stayed for four nights. Upon check in we were told house keeping was doing daily cleanings to include towel changes, removal of trash, vacuuming, and remaking of beds. house keeping came only once after the first night we were there then not another time at all during our stay. Two days in a row I went and informed the front desk to which they simply gave me clean towels but never even apologized. Our trash cans were full, and everything was dirty. Not to mention that the night we arrived house keeping had left a pile of trash and dirty linens in the hall right in front of our room that stayed there for over 24 hours. One of the towels in our room upon arrival was dirty to the point it looked as if if had been run over and had brown stains on it. Simply put extremely disappointing for what Marriott used to be.

The rooms were not worth what we paid for them. The one rooms carpet made the entire room stink. The other room had mold and was dirty. The mini fridge was warm. We were also expecting to be on the water. The “breakfast “ was also a joke!!

Overall the stay was great except for a couple of exceptions… the WIFI was horrible, not continuous connection and upon leaving with luggage, housekeeping seen us (6 people) exiting our room, looked at us, and left the cart in the middle of the hallway. We had to squeeze around with our luggage (RUDE)

We loved the space we had in our two bedroom unit! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel was close to the main interstates and convenient for visiting the areas on our vacation checklist. We will stay again on future trips.

The shower design is ridiculous. Only 1 door covers half of the shower area, water runs out through the open half, soaking the floor. Management told me all of the showers in the hotel are the same, so switching rooms no help.

Right next to highway which was super loud and hard to sleep. People smoking right outside hotel all the time where we had to enter. Room smelled like fish or something cooked. Room had tons of lights that stayed on at night and made it hard to sleep and the blackout curtains are never blackout enough…what is the deal with hotels and their blackout curtains.

My husband and I was trying to check in at the hotel around 2am in the morning. We drove 4 hours to get there from South Carolina. The lady who was working that night was so rude. She didn’t let us check in and or helped us out at all. So we ended up having to cancel our hotel at 2 in the morning and had to drive 4 hours back to South Carolina because all the other hotels in Jacksonville were sold out. Never in my life I ever experienced this. This left a bad taste in my mouth. She really messed up our mini vacation. We wanted a mini vacation before our child is due in less than 2 months.

Housekeeping was missed 4 times. I extended my stay 2 times and they missed the housekeeping the check in day, although I reported the first time to management. I called twice to replenish shampoo and soap dispensers. One day towels were not replaced. Found a roach two times

On my check.in day there was a guest complaining about people going into his room while he was there without knocking. Then it happened to.me this morning while I had no clothes. The manager seemed non chalent about it.

I don’t know how this hotel got such a high rating. The receptionists(all 3) were unprofessional and rude. The room smelled of mildew, no deadbolts on the doors, and felt damp. The room was somewhat nice but the bed was very uncomfortable. Water trickled out of the shower head, no water pressure.

My stay was amazing. Arrived 1:30am with no reservation. Desk agent was so pleasant and helpful. I was checked in without delay. 4 day stay was very pleasant. Rooms were clean and supplies at hand. Breakfast was great. Location perfect. Staff wonderful.

Not to mention that the night we arrived house keeping had left a pile of trash and dirty linens in the hall right in front of our room that stayed there for over 24 hours. One of the towels in our room upon arrival was dirty to the point it looked as if if had been run over and had brown stains on it. Simply put extremely disappointing for what Marriott used to be.

We stayed for four nights. Upon check in we were told house keeping was doing daily cleanings to include towel changes, removal of trash, vacuuming, and remaking of beds. house keeping came only once after the first night we were there then not another time at all during our stay. Two days in a row I went and informed the front desk to which they simply gave me clean towels but never even apologized. Our trash cans were full, and everything was dirty. Blake was amazing at the desk, no question or request was minimized. He exemplifies customer service in his demeanor and actions. The residence inn was clean, quiet, and comfortable and somewhere I would stay again!

I booked the wrong Residence Inn. I was supposed to be staying near Mayo Clinic. This one was dark at night. I didn't realize I had to check in at a separate building and drive to my room. I'm just not used to that. I'll pay closer attention next time. The girl at the desk was very nice and understood my safety concerns.

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. The only downside was the sound of traffic at night. We were in an end studio room and could hear trucks when we went to sleep.

Rooms were big by comparison. Clean. Good value. Check in was not smooth. Surroundings needed attention. Weight room just stunk. Car up on jacks !? Mold on exterior needs removing. Transients made it feel unsafe.

Pros: Good location, really close to a big shopping center with lots of dining and shopping Only 10 min from Mayo Clinic Good price for the rooms Clean and nice that that the rooms have small kitchenettes Cons: $5 a day for parking, give me a break, it’s not like this place is in such a premium location that it warrants charging for parking Also the ice machine was broken the entire week we were here and I was told to just go buy my own ice, not a huge deal but kind of annoying, breakfast was subpar

The room and service was amazing but the breakfast was not very good, i did not enjoy the sausages or the bagels. The hot water machine wasnt working and there was no vanilla cream for my coffee.

Just stopped in for an overnight on our way up north. Very nice accommodations. Easy and quick check-in and out. Very nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

Room was spacious, little outdated but clean, comfortable and with all the amenities required. Staff was the highlight, friendly, helpful, attentive and breakfast buffet was BEST I’ve experienced at any of these types of hotels. The dining area was clean, well stocked, fresh, spacious and one could comfortably maneuver the buffet area. The options were wonderful from fresh fruit, yogurt, breakfast sandwiches, cereals, muffins and more! Excellent value! The staff was the star from the hotel manager that greeted us to the buffet staff to the maintenance man who was so friendly and helped us into the pool area. Everyone was happy to make our stay perfect even without asking, just genuinely hospitable people. Bravo team! Even with an outdated hotel the stay was amazing and I’d gladly stay here again.

I thought the apartment style layout was very nice and the suite / room conditions were great. My only miagiving was the limited stafg for breakfast, lack of attention to detail at breakfast and limited breakfast options.

Stay was excellent. Room was cozy. Breakfast had something different everyday but enough variety for everyone. Only down side was pool was green and we couldnt swim - glad we had enough other activities to keep us busy.

The smell of weed was terrible in the hall near our first room. I booked for 3 people with a sofa bed. There was no bedding in the room for the sofa and only 2 towrls. Had to make an extra trip to the desk to get those items. The staff was friendly and moved us to another room away from the weed smell. The sofa bed was in very poor condition and my son slept on it as a couch instead of making it a bed bc it was so worn. The breakfast was poor and the coffee was just bad. The AC never truly cooled either room. The whole hotel needs a major renovation. It is very dated in decor and it had a smell of mold/mildew. The location was nice as it was very near plenty of shopping and food but not in the middle of the traffic as it was on a side road.

Great weekend in Jacksonville and the hotel was great. Clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing. The kitchen lady was efficient and always had everything filled up! I would highly recommend. The only thing we did not know was that you had to pay to park. We checked in late and the attendant did not tell us that was required. My husband asked the next day because we saw signs everywhere. We paid the next day.

It was a great experience for our 1st time staying here. The only issue we had was that we couldn't get our TV to work. Even the young lady at the front desk offered to switch us to another room and even when we switched rooms the tv still didn't work in the new room. Besides that the room was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Very friendly front desk staff. Will stay here again.
