Let me start by saying I’ve stayed here multiple times and enjoyed my experience. But this time it was not so great. When I first arrived the room I was given the ac was making a loud noise, the maintenance came and said it would hour to replace it. The second room given had a musty mold smell, mold in the ceiling, the shower had a crack in it. I had to leave I mentioned it to the front desk about the issue and showed pictures of the mold. She stated she would have someone look at it. When I got back she said maintenance looked at and never got back with her so it was nothing too serious. So we just asked for another room. The third room given was ok, the ac was set on 60 degrees, but the room never got cold. I called downstairs the Africa American gentleman came right within five minutes and switched us to a room next door that was perfect. We had to move 3 different rooms before we had a room working correctly.

Was outdated and not very clean. The walls around the shower were rotten and dirty looking. Its very dim in the room with not much light. The pool was green the first day, and milky the second day of my stay and I never saw anyone out at the pool. The carpet is nasty and unraveling. The bar/restaurant was pretty good if the lady bartender took care of you, the male bartender was so lost. I ordered a black cherry old fashion that he made and I was not able to drink it because of it tasting like he put coffee in it. Luckily the lady bartender was was able to make me another one to replace the drink. My pillow case had stains on it, and when I got out of the shower and walked in the bed area, my feet had lent and hair on them that I was not able to see just by looking at the floor. Its so dark in the rooms, im sure a lot gets missed.

Wait time to check in wasn’t due to a line it was due to walking into a hotel that seemed to have zero staff. After waiting for 10mins for someone to appear at the front desk I got to my room. Fixtures were rusted and covered in dust, sofa and ottoman so dirty they looked like they were picked up off the side of the road and balcony overlooked what appeared to be a closed untreated pool. I can overlook a lot but don’t understand how this is a Marriott Property.

The hotel was nice and clean room was also very clean. The pool however looked very dirty looked like it had black mold in it. We notified front desk and they said it was not dirty that it was paint chipping and if that’s the case drain it and re paint it because it’s very deceiving from the nice pictures on line that helped me choose this hotel.
