While the staff was amazing and tended to our every need, the facility was in disrepair poorly maintained. The carpets were stained and discolored, the room was musty and the fan to the air conditioning unit would only stay on while the temperature stayed above 65°. So no the mustiness lingered. The bathtub floor was tapered in such a way that it was difficult to stand in it. The pool was grimy with chipped paint and black flecks and slime floating in the water. The complementary breakfast was varied and well kept. Choices were: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, Belgian waffles, assorted pastries, cold cereal, fruit, juices, and yogurts. The breakfast dining room was bright and well kept.

All employees were friendly and the place very clean. We stayed two nights and the breakfast was not even so so.. i get that it is free but i always stay where there is a breakfast. Not a fresh fruit to be found just sugary cerel. Also there was a gym in the listing but there actually is no gym. I like to walk the treadmill.

The pool area was nice to use but was not kept clean. Floors had chewed gum and papers and dirt on floor our entire 3 night stay. Rooms were kept nice and front desk was very helpful and kind. Some staff were using fountain to put out there smokes and it did stink in the front of building by fountain.

Elevator was broken so we had to truck everything for a family of 7 with 4 small children up the stairs. The toilet seat was broken so it pinched your skin every time you went to the bathroom. The toilet only flushed every 6 times you pushed the handle down. Not something I expected from a place that charged me $250/night

This prop is listed on Expedia as 8.7. There is no way this property deserves an 8.7. This places needs a major overhaul. Odd smell, molding coming off, plaster in the pool is coming off.the room was supposed to have two queen beds, i believe they were fulls. For $180, i expected more. Very disappointing for Expedia to have this listened as 8.7.

The staff was very nice, but seemed understaffed. The chair in the room looked like something out of a crime scene show. The TV didn’t work and had no success trying to get it fixed at any point. The gym machines did not all work. Lots of weights but not room to use them. The pool was very nice and good patios and chairs. The front reception was comfortable and the main areas were pretty clean and clear!

There were multiple roaches running around in our room the two nights we stayed. It was filthy. Other dead bugs on the carpet. A smashed bug on the wall that wasn't wiped off. Stains all over the wall in the bathroom. Our room also looked nothing like the pictures. The pictures when booking look updated with white duvets. We had maroon bed covers that looked like they were 40 years old with a flannel blanket and stained sheets. The room and hotel were pretty bad but the location was amazing so we just made it work for the two days. I would not recommend this hotel and we will not be back.

Checking in was super easy but it quickly went down hill after that. Room seemed ok at first. But when I was suddenly awakened by something crawling on my head in the middle of the night that was it. Turns out it was a cockroach. So gross. I immediately showered, packed and vacated the premises. Buyer beware here.

The staff was very kind and considerate, what made us give such a poor review is we saw multiple cockroach’s in the dining area. After we came back from the dining room we found a cockroach IN OUR ROOM. We are completed grossed out and disgusted. I will be contacting corporate for a refund or compensation.

I booked a room for two nights, but left after the first night. The room had an unbearable smell of cigarette smoke. The curtains had holes in them and were too short, so the outside light shone into the room. The carpets were worn and dirty. It was an overall unpleasant experience.

Although conveniently close to downtown Gettysburg without being in the heart of the city, this place was horrible. It was filthy and had bugs. As soon as we checked in, we had to switch rooms because there were stink bugs everywhere, the in-room sink was leaking on the carpet, causing mold, and we found dried, crusty blood on one of the sheets. The second room, besides finding more stinkbugs, appeared slightly better until our last night there. My wife was in bed and rolled over to find a cockroach beside her. We informed the front desk staff member and he played it off that they knew about it, and were spraying but it was hard to get rid of them because they were crawling through the vents. We demanded a refund to which they offered for our last night, but only if we left. We lived three hours away and had prepaid for a tour later that night, so we couldn't just leave. While arguing with the staff member after finding the roach, he told my cousin to be quiet and denied originally telling us they knew about the bugs. After he left our room, we began checking for more bugs, fearing we would take them home with us. I suggested we check behind picture frames because I've seen on shows like hoarders that they tend to gather behind them. Upon doing so, two opened suboxone wrappers fell out. Upon giving him this, he was more concerned as to why we were looking behind the picture frames. We paid over $460 for three nights here and had the worst hotel experience ever!

I was extremely disappointed staying here. The place is extremely dirty. Our hotel room had LOTS of bugs, dirty curtains with several burn marks, smelled like smoke although they advertise being smoke free, the beds were dirty with hair still on them. I was very frustrated because I had my children with me. Needed a place for one night and we checked in at 11p so I had no option but to stay. They are not a 3 star hotel. The hotel advertisement is very misleading which angered me. I would not have brought my children to a dirty hotel were we had to sleep with several bugs in our room while being able to hear other people in their rooms. I got no sleep. The place was so bad I couldn’t even use their bathroom. I left as soon as the kids woke up. Beyond disappointed and frustrated!

Our original room smelled so moldy that it took our breath away. The temp would not go below 75 degrees even with a/c on high. My husband requested a room change which was immediately honored. Our second room smelled better ( Although there was still a faint smell of mold) and a/c worked wonderfully. Unfortunately, in one bed we could feel the springs in the mattress, the other had a very los spot in the middle of the mattress. 6 of 8 pillows were awful!!! Huge lumps and bumps in them. Really horrible! Staff was friendly and helpful at all times.

The pillows and bed were so uncomfortable. The couch was sunken in and uncomfortable to sit on. There was a coffee maker and cups in our room, but no coffee. The rooms need redone. The caulking around the tub was awful. The door had what looked liked things stuck on it and ripped off. The floors were nice, but the walls need redone. The room number placard on the outside of our door was missing. For $200 a night it was not worth it. The breakfast was ok. At least they had waffles, eggs, bacon, and sausage.

The TV kept going in and out. The toilet made noises when you flushed it. The one lamp didn’t work until you plug it to a different socket. Also the light in the bathroom made a noise you couldn’t use it.

My stay was pretty good. My only complaint was the cable/DTV did not offer many channels. I would have liked more channels. Bed was comfortable. 1.5 miles away from the main drag in Gettysburg.

The front desk was extremely friendly & helpful. The tv wasn't working in our room & the manager came immediately to see what the problem was. It was a simple fix...it was just disconnected. The breakfast was very good... We had an enjoyable stay!

Very friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff made our stay great. Our 3 year old wanted to swim with the pool closing at 10 pm and us coming to the pool at 9:50 pm but they nicely allowed us to stay later. Thank you to the staff!

The stay itself was fine, we were only there about 6 hours before we continued on our road trip. The check in was strange. We arrived to the hotel about 11pm and had to call a number for guest services since no one was at the desk. A few minutes later a gentleman shuffled down the hallway to the desk IN HIS PAJAMAS to check us in. It gave us a strange uneasy feeling. He was nice however his appearance was unprofessional and concerning for what kind of place we booked. First impressions are so meaningful….and this one was a bit odd!

They were not attentive to their breakfast station. We were there for 3 days and had to wait for things to be refilled like coffee, utensils, and made food. They need to tell you when you check in that they don’t clean your room if you’re there less than 3 nights. We asked for fresh towels. I brought them my dirty ones and never received new ones. I had to go to the front desk to get them which I had to go back 3 times because no one was there. And this was at 5pm. The location was great. They need to update their bathrooms. The toilet had yellowed and was not efficient.

This was not a very pleasant stay. First of all, I accidentally got double booked, since the first time I made reservations with Expedia, I was told it didn't go thru, so I booked again, shortening my reservation from Friday thru Sunday to Friday, Saturday, leaving Sunday AM. The man at the front desk really wasn't very helpful, telling me he couldn't do anything about the double booking, I would have to deal with Expedia. Of course on a Friday evening, I got no help from Expedia. When I returned home, between Expedia and the hotel, I was charged and extra $103.60 for the booking on Friday, rather than the $62.30 I would have been charged for the third night if we had stayed. In the meantime, the elevator quit working-now I know it is only a two story building, and usually this would be no problem, but for me it was as I am having issues with my left foot tendons. Breakfast was unacceptable, with powdered eggs, cheap sausage, and bad coffee. I have always been pleased with Wyndham properties before, but I will think twice before booking one again.

It was a nice relaxing stay. My husband loved the pillows. The staff was very helpful, and polite. I liked the convenience of Perken's restaurant and Dunkin Donuts in the same parking lot.

While parts of building need updating, all are in acceptable working order. Front desk guy at check in was amusing so 5-stars there. Not IN “preferred downtown” but close enough for convenience. Continental Breakfast was just that but Dunkin Is right next door. GREAT value Price

The room smelled like a "FOOT" not well kept at all. I booked because of the breakfast however, the breakfast was not hot with eggs,sausage ,nor bacon ,muffins etc.... it was a package paper bag at the front desk.The bag contained activia, a rice krispy treat and a egg bagel that u throw in microwave. Coffee near front desk was awful. My diet is not sugar and carbs soooo this meant no breakfast. Totally misled website and hotel considering I asked when I checked in and desk agent said breakfast times and in the breakfast room. Of course in the morning I was given a paper bag of cold food seems as though this was done on purpose to mislead me. Never staying again.
