My son-in-law & I went to enjoy a time away fishing. This property did not disappoint! Although it was overcast and very windy, the fishing was excellent. We caught several bass, a few bream, and crappie. (Around 20 fish in all in two days of bass fishing.) We brought our own boat and launched it from the concrete boat ramp. It was awesome pulling the boat right up to the back porch and tying it off and going inside the cabin for breaks or for the night. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. No problems or issues with anything during our stay. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!

Second time staying here and I have to say it is one of my favorites! The house is amazing and literally ON the water. It’s comfortable and has everything you need. The private lake is beautiful and great for fishing. Then to top it all off you have Shelli who is a perfect host! We love this place and can’t say enough about it!!

Our family had an amazing, relaxing, just plain fun stay at this charming cabin. Surrounded by water, serenaded by frogs, crickets, and cows, it just doesnt get much more peaceful. The sunrises and sunsets are BEAUTIFUL. We fished till our hands hurt and it was totally worth it. You can keep some fish to cook or just catch and release. The owners were quick to answer any questions we had and very accommodating. We hated to leave but will definitely be back!!

Property is just as advertised. Only suggestion would be to advertise the catch and release rule for bass. Very relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful views.

This cabin is literally in the middle of a lake. There are water views from every window. The wrap around porch gives you waterfront (and shade) on every side of the cabin. Sunsets were breathtaking from the front porch. We fished the lake and several ponds on the property and never came up empty handed. The owners are extremely hospitable. We got to visit with them for a bit, and they even fed us! You’re surrounded by nature here…cows, ducks, geese, tons of birds (flies and wasps too…lol) and we even saw a bald eagle! Truly an incredible experience!

The place was great, easy check in, clean and had everything we needed. Fishing, wildlife, birds, and excellent location. We really enjoyed our stay. Store and shopping close by and we were never bothered or had any problems. We are already planning our return visit.

Our stay was just amazing! We got there and everything was organized, everything was clean. We visited during the winter and prior to our arrival the heaters were turned on, so we arrived to a warm home. Our guest contact was always readily available, I would have to give our contact a 5 star. They answered all my questions and were there to always help. The boat + fishing was amazing my family loved it. We caught 11 crappie, I would love to come back again and stay longer and catch more. The area was super calm and secluded. This place was so amazing, it has washer and dryer, fridge, oven, microwave, tv, etc., it was amazing. They were so loving that my family even told me that next year we're coming back during the warmer time. Definitely recommend this cabin without a doubt!

This is our second trip to this amazing getaway. The cabin itself is as pictured and described. Beds are comfortable, cabin is big open concept with plenty of room. Our first visit was in the winter and the cabin stayed plenty warm. Our second visit the weather was 80-90° and the cabin was nice and cool. 3 window air conditioning units. Cabin is clean and extremely well stocked. It’s the exterior of this cabin that pictures can not do justice. I believe the view from the front porch is the prettiest view I’ve ever seen. The host Shelli is extremely kind and eager to make sure you have everything you need. The cabin is about 30 minutes from town. I recommend you bring everything you need. If you are looking for a place to relax, reconnect with family and friends and catch a crazy amount of fish look no further, this is the place. I’m looking forward to our next visit.

My kids and I arrived to the property Christmas morning. It was everything we expected and more. Shelly and Mr Rodney checked in on us daily and made sure we had everything we needed. My son caught a 5 lb bass along with other multiple Bass. The house is very clean and will start with everything you need except food. The beds were great and comfortable! Wi-Fi was provided as well as Netflix and Amazon to watch on tv. Mr Rodney invited us over for dinner the night before we left. He cooked us beef tips and rice with green beans. He also brought us over an extra fishing pole with jigs to crappie. This is a family ran establishment on a large cattle farm and private Lake. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for peace and quiet, go fishing, or just to go out and explore. My kids and I drove into Shreveport which is about an hour and 45 minutes away and had an excellent time. We definitely will be coming back and seeing this property again! Definitely worth the drive. Thank you all for your hospitality, and a safe place me and my kids got to call home for a short while

We loved this place. It's so beautiful and completely surrounded by big private lake. I would like to say that it's a perfect weekend getaway for anytime in year. Host Shelly is sweet and very helpful. She was very attention to detail person, in her cabin everything was super clear and well organised. We requested for few thing at very end moment and she made those things possible in very less time. The whole property is in middle of 100 Acres of Lake and its superb place for fishing, stargazing, water activities and fun outdoor activities. Cabin was equipped with everything like full kitchen, laundry, TV, WiFi, Netflix, Prime, BBQ Grill and nice outside deck. We loved this property and super host Shelly and we highly recommend this place if you wanna go out somewhere surrounding of nature and want a good time for any given day in a year.

This cabin was even better than the pictures. The property was gorgeous and exactly what we needed. The owner was very accommodating to our needs and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Definitely heading back next year!!

We loved this place. It's so beautiful and completely surrounded by big private lake. I would like to say that it's a perfect weekend getaway for anytime in year. Host Shelly is sweet and very helpful. She was very attention to detail person, in her cabin everything was super clear and well organised. We requested for few thing at very end moment and she made those things possible in very less time. The whole property is in middle of 100 Acres of Lake and its superb place for fishing, stargazing, water activities and fun outdoor activities. Cabin was equipped with everything like full kitchen, laundry, TV, WiFi, Netflix, Prime, BBQ Grill and nice outside deck. We loved this property and super host Shelly and we highly recommend this place if you wanna go out somewhere surrounding of nature and want a good time for any given day in a year.

Second time staying here and I have to say it is one of my favorites! The house is amazing and literally ON the water. It’s comfortable and has everything you need. The private lake is beautiful and great for fishing. Then to top it all off you have Shelli who is a perfect host! We love this place and can’t say enough about it!!

If you love to fish or just need a quiet place to relax and unwind this is the place for you! I was already planning our next stay while pulling down the driveway. Our host was amazing and so quick to answer any questions we had. We fished the entire time and caught so many bass! God was really showing off when he made that lil slice of heaven. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and breathtaking sunsets! Definitely coming soon!

This cabin was even better than the pictures. The property was gorgeous and exactly what we needed. The owner was very accommodating to our needs and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Definitely heading back next year!!

Our stay was just amazing! We got there and everything was organized, everything was clean. We visited during the winter and prior to our arrival the heaters were turned on, so we arrived to a warm home. Our guest contact was always readily available, I would have to give our contact a 5 star. They answered all my questions and were there to always help. The boat + fishing was amazing my family loved it. We caught 11 crappie, I would love to come back again and stay longer and catch more. The area was super calm and secluded. This place was so amazing, it has washer and dryer, fridge, oven, microwave, tv, etc., it was amazing. They were so loving that my family even told me that next year we're coming back during the warmer time. Definitely recommend this cabin without a doubt!

This is our second trip to this amazing getaway. The cabin itself is as pictured and described. Beds are comfortable, cabin is big open concept with plenty of room. Our first visit was in the winter and the cabin stayed plenty warm. Our second visit the weather was 80-90° and the cabin was nice and cool. 3 window air conditioning units. Cabin is clean and extremely well stocked. It’s the exterior of this cabin that pictures can not do justice. I believe the view from the front porch is the prettiest view I’ve ever seen. The host Shelli is extremely kind and eager to make sure you have everything you need. The cabin is about 30 minutes from town. I recommend you bring everything you need. If you are looking for a place to relax, reconnect with family and friends and catch a crazy amount of fish look no further, this is the place. I’m looking forward to our next visit.

This was an amazing, relaxing, and beautiful spot to unplug. We had quality family time all week. We will be going back again. We enjoyed everything from the sunrises to the sunsets. The fishing was great. The hosts were there if we needed them but not a bother if we didn’t. Great family vacation spot.

Our family had an amazing, relaxing, just plain fun stay at this charming cabin. Surrounded by water, serenaded by frogs, crickets, and cows, it just doesnt get much more peaceful. The sunrises and sunsets are BEAUTIFUL. We fished till our hands hurt and it was totally worth it. You can keep some fish to cook or just catch and release. The owners were quick to answer any questions we had and very accommodating. We hated to leave but will definitely be back!!

This cabin is literally in the middle of a lake. There are water views from every window. The wrap around porch gives you waterfront (and shade) on every side of the cabin. Sunsets were breathtaking from the front porch. We fished the lake and several ponds on the property and never came up empty handed. The owners are extremely hospitable. We got to visit with them for a bit, and they even fed us! You’re surrounded by nature here…cows, ducks, geese, tons of birds (flies and wasps too…lol) and we even saw a bald eagle! Truly an incredible experience!

My kids and I arrived to the property Christmas morning. It was everything we expected and more. Shelly and Mr Rodney checked in on us daily and made sure we had everything we needed. My son caught a 5 lb bass along with other multiple Bass. The house is very clean and will start with everything you need except food. The beds were great and comfortable! Wi-Fi was provided as well as Netflix and Amazon to watch on tv. Mr Rodney invited us over for dinner the night before we left. He cooked us beef tips and rice with green beans. He also brought us over an extra fishing pole with jigs to crappie. This is a family ran establishment on a large cattle farm and private Lake. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for peace and quiet, go fishing, or just to go out and explore. My kids and I drove into Shreveport which is about an hour and 45 minutes away and had an excellent time. We definitely will be coming back and seeing this property again! Definitely worth the drive. Thank you all for your hospitality, and a safe place me and my kids got to call home for a short while

The cabin was nice. Comfortable, clean. Rodney was a great host while Shelli was away. Quick to respond to our inquiries and even brought us some charcoal and lighter fluid to us when we decided we wanted to grill burgers but didn't want to go into town unless we had to. We didn't have to thanks to Rodney. We will be back
