Older hotel renovated into Xilo. Comfortable bed, nice rain shower. Parking was tight and narrow, but ample enough. Free breakfast in the morning was minimal, but got the job done. Nice staff.

I have been staying here for years. And now all of a sudden a 12 dollar fee a night to park!!! Talk about trying to get every dollar from people when for years it was free sad to say i will probably not use this place again.

Great room with jetted tub in the room and large shower with rain shower head. TV is difficult to figure out channels. Parking is $12. Corner room with jetted tub can be noisy because laundry is next door. Rooms not well insulated for sound, we could hear the upstairs guests walking around and muffled voices.

It's an ok hotel, our room smelled like exhaust, the property was a bit dirty, they were doing construction and stuff was all over. Overall ok, thin walls, had trouble sleeping.

We didn't know that we had to pay for parking. There was a charge on our receipt that was not specified and when we asked were told it was for parking. No towel racks or anyplace to put bathroom stuff. Shower was nice. Was clean and pretty quiet. It was "ok" but not sure I'd stay here again.

Room was clean but there was only one mirror which was in the bathroom. Room was not very big. The ice machine was broken the whole time. The pool area was also closed but it is very small. We asked the staff for extra towels and they never brought them. The bath towels are not very large either. They don't make anything fresh for breakfast besides coffee but they did have bagels and cream cheese. Good location.

This is an old motel that has been renovated. It was clean and you can park in front of the room. It is two floors, no elevator. The gym has a treadmill, bike and weights which are all new and good shape. The pool was clean. The pics online are not the bathroom we had. No tub. No place to hang towels or any hooks. The shower had no shelves to put your stuff but had dispensers with soap, shampoo and conditioner. It was clean and ok for the two of us for one night.

I'm giving this hotel a solid 3 stars. Our room did look like the pictures online but for it being a non smoking room our room reeked of marijuana. Even our bed linens and towels smelled bad. We checked in extremely late the day before Thanksgiving, and after a long day of driving all we wanted to do was sleep. However, I gave very little sleep because the lingering smell of smoke gave me an awful headache. Thank goodness we were only staying one night. Overall the hotel itself was cute and the girl who checked us in thay night was very kind but the ac unit is extremely loud and the smelly room left much to be desired.

Heating system made a huge noise, had to move rooms because I could not sleep, water never got hot in the shower, place smelled like bleach, sheets were stiff and scratchy and, again, smelled like bleach, shower did not drain properly, heater was either on or off as the temp gauge did not turn it off so I either froze or overheated. I could go on and on. Just terrible.

We had a nice two-night stay. Clean room, nice front counter service. Housekeeping never came by to make up the bed or clean the room after our first night. Other than that, it was a very affordable and clean place to stay.

The room was clean and the people at the desk were very polite. The issue we have here is 2 things. 1 we arrived on Monday and left on Thursday. No one ever came to clean waste paper baskets or give us fresh towels. Or make bed we had to call front desk for towels every day.... No maid service for 3 days!.... For the money you pay you have to take out your own garbage and make your own bed. It says maid service daily. We did not have any do not disturb or any sign in the door for her not to come in. #2. They charge you extra to park in the hotel parking lot! $7.99 per night! What's that??! They give you a ticket for your car window. Not sure of we're coming back. We like their location but very disappointed in their cleaning service and idea of charging you extra to park in their lot when you are their guest. No breakfast .

Pictures look nice but the actual product was not good at all for the price we paid. Our room was more of a “motel” rather than a hotel. Website did not indicate a parking fee so we ended up paying an additional $24 for our stay. Barn door setup did not provide adequate privacy when using the toilet or taking a shower. There were no hooks or bars to hang your towels making it very inconvenient. USB port was inoperable. We ended up checking out early and transferring to a more reputable hotel.

The good: comfortable bed, relatively quiet room, good shower pressure, less expensive, good location to walk to dinners or shopping, room attendants were nice. The not good: faucet leaked (bad) the entire time in sink, shower had half door and dripped, barn door in bath gapped so little privacy, peeling paint/wall, no extra pillows for guests after request, sticky floor in room, one mirror in entire room and no full length so getting ready was challenging, pool furniture broken and area not maintained, overcharged for parking and at this time not able to get a refund. Just do your research and know if you’re looking for a place to sleep only, excellent; if you want a decent place hang out when not sleeping go somewhere else.

I was already preparing to leave. Unprofessional Response When I expressed frustration, staff became defensive and argumentative, escalating the situation. Front Desk Response Reporting this to the front desk, I was told it's policy. However, rudeness is never policy.

Staff was so helpful! After check in, I walked to the sidewalk, wanting a look at the area. I did not expect the concierge to get out of the office and kindly recommend places to walk. He knew exactly what I was looking for and where to go. Upon returning from my walk, another guest was staring outside her room. She was not there long when the concierge came out again, & promptly identified the issue as a broken keycard, and got it replaced. That guy was on it! Wish I got his name.

Staff was so helpful! After check in, I walked to the sidewalk, wanting a look at the area. I did not expect the concierge to get out of the office and kindly recommend places to walk. He knew exactly what I was looking for and where to go. Upon returning from my walk, another guest was staring outside her room. She was not there long when the concierge came out again, & promptly identified the issue as a broken keycard, and got it replaced. That guy was on it! Wish I got his name.

I arrived to the location at 5am to do a late check in. The lady, first off, was sleeping during her shift and I had to wake her up. She then said their late check in was 4:30am and I could no longer check in. I not only paid for a room I didn’t sleep in, but left me with no reassurance that my situation could be fixed. She told me there’s nothing she could do. Horrible customer service. I would never consider using this as a place to stay or recommend to anyone.

The room smelled bad. No way we would be able to sleep through that. When we asked the front desk for refund. He looked with a blank stare. When I said it again he looks and tells me call hotel.com for refund. He was pissed and gave straight attitude. I called hotels.com. He denied the refund. Told them no manager there to refund room. He was the only one on duty. Save your time and book somewhere else.

When I checked in I had my two small dogs with me. I decided to extend my stay for the next two days. The manager saw my dogs in my vehicle and then proceeded to tell me that dogs are not allowed and argue with me about it. I asked him to check the cameras and see that when I checked in I had them with me. He could have been polite and let me know that the hotel was not dog friendly. Instead he wanted to have an attitude with me about it. I’ll definitely be taking my money and business elsewhere

Visiting family ( for family get together) who only have 3 bedrooms; needed one night stay nearby to crash Xilo is perfectly located, clean, and had everything you need. The price is right! Front desk staff are KIND and helpful, I’d stay here again and plan on it!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was very reasonably priced and Glendale is a nice community. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We were not in the room much because we went to the Rose Bowl and parade. Public transportation was within walking distance and there are many restaurants and shopping nearby. The Glendale Galleria is within easy walking distance. The staff was also friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location. We had never been to Downtown Glendale and didn’t know what to expect. Beautiful area and safe for walking at night to nearby Alex Theater and restaurants. The clerk at check in was very helpful. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. Bathroom was reasonably updated. Shower drain was slow, and a full length mirror is needed. Some damage to the nightstand and the inside of the door could use painting- very scruffy. In the morning there were a lot of cigarette butts on the sidewalk and parking area, but we never heard any noise overnight thankfully. Overall this was a decent place to stay at a fair price.

This has been my third or fourth time staying here and I have always had a good experience. The beds are comfortable and the shower heads are amazing! The parking fee is only $12/night which is not nearly as awful as other places in LA. I love the location because its so close to the Galleria and Brand Ave.

It was very brown. Literally, everything inside of the room was brown which took me a little by surprise compared to the photos. The continental breakfast is just bread and cereal. The location was the best, up the street from bars, the galleria, churches, plenty of markets and shopping very nearby. Had to pay to park over night $12, no biggie but all around wouldn’t stay again.

Overall our stay was good. The place felt safe which is always important to us. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the first day, everything tasted fresh. We had a cup of milk, bagel and an orange. The second day however the bagels were hard. I think they were left out.

The was electrical issues with the lights. Housekeeping was running us out before 11. The Continental breakfast was just bread and cereal with some muffins. The room was very clean, which is why I do understand that housekeeping was rushing us out. The receptionist at the front was very professional and helpful. The room was very nice and modern. I liked the view from the room as well, especially in the morning. Good service.

The "complimentary breakfast" is a stretch. Just toast and little small muffins. I guess you could call it that, but not my idea. The staff was very friendly. The sliding door between the living area and bathroom fell off. I would definitely stay there again because it's so close to Anytime Fitness and if you want to walk, you are 10-15 minutes away from so many great restaurants and a great mall

Room was clean but there was only one mirror which was in the bathroom. Room was not very big. The ice machine was broken the whole time. The pool area was also closed but it is very small. We asked the staff for extra towels and they never brought them. The bath towels are not very large either. They don't make anything fresh for breakfast besides coffee but they did have bagels and cream cheese. Good location.

While breakfast had minimal variety it was a standard hotel breakfast with waffles, yogurt, toast and bagel options as well as coffee and juice. Did the job! The staff was friendly and accommodating our later than expected arrival. Room was clean and well kept for our arrival. The jetted tub within the room is such a great amenity and will be looking to book this room again. Thank you!

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating room was very clean. Properties is nice and it is across the street from movie theaters and restaurants. We went there when we went to see a concert at the BMO Stadium and it was extremely close and easy to get back-and-forth. I would highly recommend it and I would stay there again. Jodi/Sacramento

For the price, you pretty much get what you pay for. My expectations aren’t very high, so overall, it’s a decent place to stay. The location is definitely a plus, with the mall, Target, and other shopping and dining options within walking distance. My only consistent complaint is that the ice machine always seems to be broken. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done for a budget-friendly stay.

In the middle of the night I am awakened with cigarette smoke coming from the room next door and I’m hacking and coughing and can’t get back to sleep. The stench is too strong and I’m highly allergic to smoke. I have to fan the room with a towel and turn the air conditioner off to stop smoke from entering my room. Needless to say I don’t get any sleep. The coffee is a cappuccino machine without any decaf. It tastes like coffee from a machine. There are loud noises from outside and you can hear every word spoken next door. My shoulder are still sore from the mattress. The only good thing I found in this motel was the clean fresh towels given to me daily by the cleaning ladies. I’m not planning on coming back; I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

For a budget motel (this is a MOTEL not a hotel), it was good. Parking was easy. The staff was friendly. And the room was fine for what it was. The bed was comfortable. Shower was nice. The counters in the room were broken a bit, but overall if I needed a few affordable nights nearby, I'd stay here again. Parking was not free though, which seemed unusual for a budget motel.

Do not stay here. The pictures are super misleading letting you believe it is nice updated and clean. That can’t be further from the truth. The bed was the only clean thing in our room. The floors were sticky and the renovations were sub-par at best. The HVAC condensation was leaking from the ceiling absolutely flooding our bathroom floor. We didn’t even shower after a long drive and after our concert. Zero Stars. Wouldn’t recommend. $50.- a night sure but the night cost $128.-! Not worth it
