Outstanding in many ways. Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, excellent restaurant (especially the breakfast buffet.) The swimming pool was gorgeous and being an exercise buff i appreciated the well appointed fitness room.

A lovely hotel in the old colonial style. Great sitting and relaxing areas and live string quartets at night. Excellent pool but spa bath not operating when we stayed. Lovely gardens in city area and easy to get transport to cultural sites. We are retired so really suited us.

I stayed for 2 nights June 2024.The check in was a pleasure and staff includ6door staff were so friendly and efficient with good English.i had a room on the 9th floor, I believe it was a studio. It was huge and the bed and bedding some of the best I have experienced in many years of travel. The breakfast buffet was superb and once again staff so good. I always look for a hotel with a gym and this one was more than adequate for my workouts. The pool is huge but be aware not always peaceful as local kids come for swimming lessons there.o deal walkable to town but for hue sights generally transport is needed. I had a scooter and could easily park in the hotel car park.You won't be disappointed with a stay here, luxurious .

We stayed in Palace Deluxe - very nice room. Amazing pillows and bedding. Loved the pool and breakfast. Very friendly staff. They have live music (jazz) in the lounge a few nights a week, which we enjoyed. We had a wifi issue but called the front desk and they had in fixed in 5 minutes. Nice neighbourhood; small pond and walking path close by. There is an also a lovely temple next door. We coordinated a driver (Tan) via hotel Concierge (Johnny). Johnny helped us plan the route for the day- we had an amazing tour and topped it off with a boat ride down the Perfume River. Thanks to the team at Indochine Palace.

We were very fortunate to receive an upgrade upon our arrival. The room was huge and very clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. There are lots of amenities such as pool, sauna, spa, exercise room, pool tables . Property is very well maintained and conveniently located.

I booked this hotel for the swimming pool—at a big price—but when I arrived in the 99degree heat the pool was under construction and closed. This is unacceptable. At that price the hotel should have notified me the pool was closed. I would like a credit for this. Expedia should make this hotel notify guests that there is no pool, or demand a credit.

Hotel is clean with very nice and attentive staff. The room is clean with all the necessary amenities. The daily breakfast selections are great. Food is delicious. I was impressed by the size of the pool. It looks like a 25M pool which is something you don't see at a hotel. I truly enjoyed the lap swims in that pool. If I ever come back to Hue again, I would definitely stay here.

This should not be advertised as a 5 star hotel. The hotel has a strong smell of damp and mould, the room also had a strong smell of mould. We booked two nights but left after one night: was already feeling the effects of the mould.

I've been to Hue many times and I've stayed at 15-20 hotels there over the decades. Indochine is the best overall. It's clean. It's quiet. Staff is friendly. Food is great. Most other 5 star hotels in the city don't have all of it. I highly recommend indochine

Lovely spacious room with the most comfortable pillows and mattress so far on our South East Asia trip. Our room at the end of the hall was very quiet. We never had to wait more than a minute for the elevator. The buffet breakfast has something for everyone, I appreciated the fresh fruit and egg station. There are plenty of restaurants a short, inexpensive grab ride to walking street or you can eat at their restaurant. The pool is beautiful but unfortunately it was too cold and rainy during our stay to use it. It would have been nice to have chairs on our balcony to enjoy the view of the pool. The staff was very helpful, we booked a hotel driver for the day to take us around to the historic sites at a reasonable price. The driver was always waiting near by to pick us up to take use to the next attraction. The staff also booked our train ticket to return to De Nang, much appreciated as the web site doesn’t accept foreign credit cards. Lovely hotel, hated to leave.

The hotel is very nice, breakfast is excellent and the staff very nice and helpful. What I didn’t like is the room layout, with no real bathroom. Separate toilet, separate shower and a sink for washing almost in the middle of the room. Very unpractical.

La chambre est grande, propre, architecture coloniale française. La chambre a un balcon et la vue donne vers la ville. L'hôtel a une belle piscine. Les personnel est irréprochable (j'adore surtout Mui/Alice). Les petit-déjeuner (inclus) sont délicieuse. Le dîner est chic et élégant, Mui/Alice nous a servi avec soin. Il y a des soirée musicales. Si je vais à Huê, je reviendrai à cet hôtel certainement.

Usually I like indochine palace but the staff were incredibly difficult this time and not accommodating. Had a few issues but the most annoying was I had accidentally used and packed one of their hangars. I asked if I could just pay for it but they had me unpack my entire suitcase to return it to them.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It has the old world charm. The staff are wonderful. For the money this place has excellent value. I lost my phone on a taxi, but miraculously recovered the phone for me. Will come back again and again.

The service was the best we experienced so far during our travels in Vietnam. The only thing we were not happy about was the breakfast and food in the restaurant.

La chambre est grande, propre, architecture coloniale française. La chambre a un balcon et la vue donne vers la ville. L'hôtel a une belle piscine. Les personnel est irréprochable (j'adore surtout Mui/Alice). Les petit-déjeuner (inclus) sont délicieuse. Le dîner est chic et élégant, Mui/Alice nous a servi avec soin. Il y a des soirée musicales. Si je vais à Huê, je reviendrai à cet hôtel certainement.

Nice neighbourhood; small pond and walking path close by. There is an also a lovely temple next door. We coordinated a driver (Tan) via hotel Concierge (Johnny). Johnny helped us plan the route for the day- we had an amazing tour and topped it off with a boat ride down the Perfume River. Thanks to the team at Indochine Palace.

What a beautiful hotel! We had a wonderful stay and can't recommend the Indochine Palace high enough. Every single member of staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous and luxurious and there are welcoming places to eat and lounge with a cocktail. On our last night a fabulous jazz combo played a selection of Christmas songs - terrific musicians and a lovely vocalist. Thank you to the whole team at Indochine Palace for a magical stay. We will be back for sure!

Really lovely hotel, excellent service, beautiful rooms, comfy bed, fantastic breakfast, nice pool area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only drawback is the location which while being in the centre is very busy, the traffic is crazy and the fumes and pollution make it hard to walk down the street.

This hotel is outstanding! The rooms are huge with beautiful decor. Staff went above and beyond. The included breakfast catered for all nationalities and dietary requirements. Amazing pool. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Definitely will return to this gorgeous accomodation.

From the moment the doorman opened the door and got our bags out of the taxi, we were pampered. We got there at 9.30am after taking the night train from Hanoi to drop our bags off. We knew check in wasn’t until 2pm and were ready to hit the streets. After a beautiful welcoming drink they then informed us that our room would be ready in 20 mins. So we were settled in our room by 10am. So kind of them. Half and hour later we got a complimentary plate of fruit and the next doorbell ring was a beautiful little plate of a few chocolates and cashews. The room we had was a 1 bedroom suite on the 10th floor. It had everything- beautifully laid out. The most amazing high pressure shower and a separate bath. Bed was to die for. Sooo soft. We stayed 2 nights and didn’t want to leave. The breakfast was one of the nicest I’ve ever had. The whole range from European, Vietnamese, beautiful range of fruits, pastries, everything you would want for a cooked breakfast etc. They had a gluten free station. Staff were constantly being super helpful - just a fabulous way to start the day. The pool is great- good opening hours. We had dinner in the hotel on the 1st night. They have a free jazz band playing from 4.30pm, so after being entertained, we went into dinner. We were the only ones utilising the restaurant and jazz band- with about 4 staff to ourselves. Food was nice but not the best meal we have had in Vietnam. The service was outstanding!! Felt like royalty 😍 Thank you to all the staff!!

During our trip through Vietnam, we stayed at several excellent hotels, all under $100 CAD per night, but the Indochine was easily our favourite for value, comfort, and quality. Our room was spacious, with an exceptionally comfortable bed, quality linens, and one of the best hotel showers we've experienced. The water pressure made the oversized rain shower feel truly luxurious. Although it's not a brand-new hotel, it has the charm and elegance of a grand property. The facilities are beautifully maintained, the pool is large and spotless, and even the pool towels were folded with such precision they looked ironed. The breakfast buffet deserves special mention. It was the best we experienced in Vietnam, with an incredible variety of fresh Vietnamese and Western options. I actually filmed myself walking around the buffet at a normal pace without stopping—it took 65 seconds to complete the circuit! I've never seen a hotel breakfast this extensive, especially at this price. Even the real linen napkins added to the upscale feel. Finally, the staff were outstanding. Hospitality throughout Vietnam impressed us, but the team at Indochine was especially warm, attentive, and professional. A special thank you to Vi and Vu, who greeted us at the front entrance every day with genuine smiles and kindness. They are wonderful ambassadors for both the hotel and Vietnamese hospitality. We only stayed two nights, which wasn't nearly enough. We look forward to staying at Indochine again
