Room price is good for long staying. Quick check in and check out. There’re small refrigerator, iron, hairdryer and electric kettle. Good services. They make up the room every day. Family mart is a few walk from hotel. There are 2 subway stations near hotel.We walked about 600 - 650 meters to subway stations. We stayed here 6 days.

小ぢんまりとしたホテルでしたが、対応もスムーズでした最低限の設備は整っていたので十分ですしかしホテルの場所が少し分かりにくかったですあと部屋にあるスリッパが少し汚れていました簡易的な中敷は準備されていましたが、少し気になりました。

Es un hotel antiguo, se nota en las instalaciones, pero están bien conservadas y no falta de nada y todo bien limpio. El hotel son dos edificios en el secundario están las habitaciones de los fumadores que está muy bien porque para entrar y salir vas directo a tú habitación ya que no pasas por ninguna recepción porque está en el edificio principal, me gusta porque aquí son muy atentos y cada vez que pasas por la recepción te saludan y preguntan y la verdad después de todo un dia visitando Tokio lo que quieres es llegar a tú habitación sin que nadie te vea y darte una ducha. El desayuno bien, igual de toca esperar pero muy poco ya que el comedor no es demasiado grande.

I stayed here for 10 days and got to know the hotel well. The hotel staff spoke English which made communication simple. The room was clean and got serviced frequently. The air conditioner worked well. The breakfast service was good, but I wish there had been more variety. The room did feel somewhat dated in aesthetic but it was comfortable especially the bed, which while firm, was great to sleep on and left my back feeling great. My biggest complaint is probably that there was no safe in the room, which I found to be inconvenient. One other issue was that luggage could not be stored under the bed. Overall, these are pretty minor issues and the stay was pleasant.

The room was dark, dirty and needed repairs. Peeling wall paper/cover, chipped and damaged furniture. The bed linen was filthy and stained. I stayed at Wotif properties for the last month while I have been travelling and this property was well below standard. I left and booked in elsewhere at a huge expense and hope that I get a refund.

Convenient location, 10 min walk to the nearest station (Shinjuku Gyoemmae) and many convenience stores around the hotel. Cleanliness was so-so as there were dust observed and the bottom of the chairs were peeling off.

Hotel didn't stand out in any particular way. Location is decent. Room was very small. Stayed in a non-smoking room but the room still smelled of cigarettes. As a non-smoker this wasn't very pleasent.

This was a centrally located hotel close to the action but in a more quiet area. The room was smaller and older but functioned well for us. They offered a delicious but inexpensive breakfast that we took advantage of. It also in walking distance to other restaurants.

For my first trip back to Japan in nearly 5 years this hotel was amazing. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly with both Japanese and foreign staff to facilitate a smooth check-in and check-out experience. As an example, I requested an extra pillow on my second night and by the time I got back to my room it was already there. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a great way to start a day of travel around the Shinjuku area and beyond and also a lovely example of a Japanese style breakfast. The cleaning staff were extremely attentive as well, I saw them interacting with guests from Korea and Europe and they were as kind to any of them as they were to me (an American). Without a doubt a 10/10 and I will surely consider the Listel Hotel Shinjuku branch for a future stay in the future should my travels bring me back to the Shinjuku area!

Hotel Listel is a bit further up the street than other hotel options but is still really close to central Shinjuku, easily walkable to public transport for getting around Toyko and has lots of shops and restaurants on the door step. The hotel room was basic but still everything we needed for our stay. Staff were friendly, check in and out was easy and breakfast was delicious with lots of options! Would stay again!

Hotel Listel is a bit further up the street than other hotel options but is still really close to central Shinjuku, easily walkable to public transport for getting around Toyko and has lots of shops and restaurants on the door step. Property is a good 10 minute walk from the transportation system so if you are with luggage, it may be challenging. The hotel staff should be nicer and a bit more flexible with check in and check out. It was a huge issue to let me check out 30 minutes later.

Besides being in the center of everything in Shinjuku. The staff were more than accommodating. They were great in every other facet of what we come to expect from a top tier hotel. Would stay at again.

Very close to no less than three underground stations. Shinjuku station itself something of a nightmare to negotiate, but the other two nearby stations are very easy to negotiate in order to board the Marunouchi line to Tokyo Central. The hotel is in a quiet location with a Family Mart and 7-Eleven just down the road, and an easy walk to many shopping and food areas. The staff had a very good command of English and were helpful and pleasant in every way. The rooms are small, of course, but, hey, this is Tokyo. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The option of breakfast was a good one – very reasonably priced and a good selection of Japanese and western choices. Don't expect soy milk or margarine – Japanese hotels seem to be a mainstay for butter and dairy milk, so vegans could perhaps take advantage of the 7-Eleven to top up on supplies. All in all, a very pleasant introduction to Japanese hotels and recommended.

The hotel room was basic but still everything we needed for our stay. Staff were friendly, check in and out was easy and breakfast was delicious with lots of options! Would stay again!

Everything is good for us except for the longer walk to the subway station. You can still walk to Shinjuku, Kabujicho, etc, but it’s about 15 -20 minutes walk.

good hotel for its price stayed for 2 weeks and had nothing bad to say about my time there. hotels location is a 8 minute walk from a subway line which is convenient and location is in a quiet area with some good food options.

A fairly old hotel with old furnishings that has seen better days. However, if you are not picky about the interior, it is a reasonably comfortable stay here. Shower room is adequate, hairdryer and kettles are provided. We got the free breakfast which was simple but filling. The reception staff are friendly, and are able to communicate in English. Word of advice - try and get the non-smoking rooms - the tobacco odour of the smoking rooms may be rather unbearable for some. We stayed in the main building, and it was an overall pleasant stay for my elderly parents and I. Transportation-wise, you may need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the nearest metro stations. There are some eateries nearby, though probably not as robust as downtown Shinjuku itself, which is about 15 minute's walk. There are plenty of convenient stores around the hotel - all within 5 minute's walk at most from the lobby.

I stayed here for 10 days and got to know the hotel well. The hotel staff spoke English which made communication simple. The room was clean and got serviced frequently. The air conditioner worked well. The breakfast service was good, but I wish there had been more variety. The room did feel somewhat dated in aesthetic but it was comfortable especially the bed, which while firm, was great to sleep on and left my back feeling great. My biggest complaint is probably that there was no safe in the room, which I found to be inconvenient. One other issue was that luggage could not be stored under the bed. Overall, these are pretty minor issues and the stay was pleasant.

Smalll hotel 8 minutes from subway station. The maid service was very good. Room was small but typical for Japan. Excellent value. Breakfast was the same everyday and I was not thrilled with the food as I’m a Canadian

This was a centrally located hotel close to the action but in a more quiet area. The room was smaller and older but functioned well for us. They offered a delicious but inexpensive breakfast that we took advantage of. It also in walking distance to other restaurants.

Room was small but clean and nice. Location was a little off the beaten path which made it a little more of a walk to get anywhere but nice to be away for very busy areas. Would recommend to people for a nice place to stay.

I came to travel for vacation with my family and I was disappointed in the hotel.The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, the room was really small no space to put our suitcases, the room was outdated and really old looked nothing like the pictures on the website, the bathroom needs better work on as well, it was very crammed and small, the air conditioner wouldn’t get that cold and the fan barely blew out air, the tv was only in Japanese language so we couldn’t even watch any tv. But the location was excellent there were many food places and things to do that were walking distance and the staff were nice. Overall the stay was a 2/10 needs a lot of work to do.
