Royal Phuket City Hotel

Poolen gick inte att bada i den var grön och full med alger och väldigt litet och tråkigt pool område. Tak baren var även väldigt tråkigt inredd för dem som vill sitta ute. Trevlig personal.

Desktop was exceptional. We're very polite, helpful and accommodating. Best front desk service ever. The interior was very well appointed and very tasteful exceptionally clean, and the gym area was outstanding with every piece of equipment you could possibly think of. Would stay there again.

Ideal location, 5 minutes walk into old town with loads of restaurants & bars to choose from. Great view from the rooftop bar & restaurant on 19th floor. Large,clean rooms. Good choice at breakfast buffet.

The spa was wonderful. The hotel was clean, great local to the Sunday night market, but without the crazy noisy traffic. The pool was very enjoyable during the heat of the day. The gym was WOW!! I would stay here again! Old town Phuket is a must see for a few days.

This hotel is 5 minutes walking from Phuket Old town. Many restaurants and boutiques available in the area. Hotel quiet, safe, clean. Good parking. Personnal professional and frendly. They speak good english. Good breakfast and nice swimming pool. Not expensive for the quality of this hotel. We strongly recommend this hotel.

I got food poisoning here! The response was that they have food brought in fresh everyday which obviously I cannot know for sure but the food sits out for about 4 hours and essentially the same food was offered the next day....and we were just about the only people eating the breakfast there so I doubt they threw it all away each day. Also, the bed was not clean!!! I checked in late and took a shower and got into bed exhausted from a day of travel and it was a gritty sandy bed. I brushed off as best as I could and then I put on stretch pants to go to sleep as it was late and I wasn't going to wait for who knows how long for them to come change the bed. I called for a change the next morning and they asked why I didn't call the day before if there was sand. I explained that I was too tired to deal with the wait, etc. but why the 3rd degree? Lousy pool location (access by stairs above the health club) with no food or drinks allowed and a half dozen uncomfortable lounge chairs with no tables or umbrellas. Only one other person was there each time we went which is good I guess but there's a reason nobody was there. IT WAS NOT A FUN POOL! If you do decide to stay here beware of the bed/room differences. Don't pay more to get a king bed as they are all king beds or 2 twin beds. They don't have any double beds. I paid twice as much to get a King bed as my son who reserved for the one with a double bed and he had the same exact room as us with a king.

The house keeping was alway late to clean the room. They showed up around 6pm when we returned to the hotel for the two nights. That was disappointing.

Good selection of breakfast options. Rooms were very clean and serviced everyday.

The hotel is clean & well maintained. It's centrally located. It's about 10-15 min walk to Old Town. The food at the hotel from the cafe/restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Placed in a room on 11th floor with 2 young children with constant sounds of building works going on, drilling banging from 8am - 5pm, no other rooms apparently available, Housekeeper was really poor not changing or attending our room till 6-7pm, even when room had been attended left with Torn bedsheets and lazily tidied room (more then likely not tidied at all)

Clean hotel close to the heart of Old Town and walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shops. View of the water in the distance from our room. Everything was very clean. Staff was helpful and courteous in assisting us with getting a working key card and figuring out how to use the safe in the room. I would stay here again.

Hotellet har ett bra läge och fint poolområde. Tyvärr luktade 2 av 3 hyrda rum starkt av mögel vilket störde helhetsintrycket.

Perfect location near the bus terminal. Beautiful lobby and breakfast area with a lovely view of the city. Very comfortable beds and good housekeeping. Loved out VIP treatment and if we go back this would definitely be our choice again.

La habitación olía mal y no disponía de ventanas para poder ventilar. A las 2:00 de la madrugada mucho ruido por el pasillo, chicas y chicos borrachos, escuchamos cómo mantenían relación sexuales, sus conversaciones y su ducha incluso. Paredes súper finas, nada de privacidad. Mucho cuidado los que viajéis con familia e hijos, o los que queréis descansar. Para nosotros fue un infierno de noche. El hotel debería prever una planta solo para ese tipo de personas y servicios de chicas de compañía.

Staff were very welcoming & helpful! The room was very nice & the view was great from the 9th Floor! Would definitely go back if we stayed in Phuket again!

Stayed one night (family of 4) in transit as was getting a boat early next morning. Good location and only 10min away from Rassada Pier. Did not use any facilities but the breakfast and it was simple but with a good assortment still. Very friendly and good service in general. Good and spacious room.

Everything was great except the shower drain was very slow. I would make sure that is taken care of, so it will be working for your next customer. That’s it, other than the shower drain. Thank you

This hotel was really nice. Spacious room and beautiful view from my room. The people working there are all good people. The only thing that was not working was the bathroom fan and the AC in the elevators. Also the elevator door closes on you everytime , they should fix this. But overall this hotel gets a 8/10

Rooms were small. Breakfast food quality was not good

Excellent customer service from check in to check out. Great location. Free EV bus every 15mins that goes in a loop around town. The hotel has been on established for quite amount of years.

Fantastic staff!! It was early in the morning about 8:30 when I arrived. Asked if I could get an early check in (took overnight bus from Bangkok). Desk reception was super considerate! They said they will try it the best of their abilities to get me checked in early so I can get some rest. And room should be ready about 10 am. Perfect! This would allow me time for a walk to the Courtyard for amazing all you can eat breakfast. (3 mins). Corner room was super spacious! Love the tub!

Notre séjour a été parfait, l'accueil et le service sont excellent. L'hôtel est situé à environ une heures des plus belles plage, cependant le quartier est plus calme qu'aux alentours de ces belles plages. Le seul bémol vient de l'air conditionné, beaucoup trop froide et bruillante. Je recommande neanmoins cet hôtel pour tous les aspects positifis cités ci-dessus.

Nice hotel within close proximity to the old town. The downside is that it needs a bit of renovation. Some people may find it slightly dated, but the bed was comfortable and the price was reasonable. Overall, nothing to complain about.

Central location and easy access!!

The view from the rooftop restaurant was spectacular, and although I arrived before check-in, I was able to get into my room right away.

Excellent service from staff. Shower needs a bit of fixing otherwise still functional. Twist Rooftop restaurant is amazing, especially at night. Half price for cocktails on happy hours 5pm-6pm, I recommend Phuket Cooler! Walking distance from Old Town Phuket

Menu was OK, but the coffee - an important part of breakfast - was some copy brand, that tasted very bad.

Hotel needs to work on the breakfast staff especially cooking eggs timely after ordering. I tried breakfast once at Royal Phuket City Hotel and was so disappointed that I walked to the Marriott every morning for breakfast.

Breakfast didn't have much variety. The food didn't go together with each other.
