We were very happy with our room. It was very clean & spacious. My only complaint is the parking lot. It is very hard to move a one ton dually without hitting another vehicle.

Our room was exceptionally clean and odor free. The blind over the outside window was very dark, which allowed us to sleep in after the sun comes up. We're in our 70's and if we see the sun in the AM, we wake up and can not go back to sleep. The lady who cleaned the rooms was very personable and inquired if we needed anything. She and the management were very concerned about our being comfortable. The mattress was excellent. We are accustomed to a Sterns and Foster mattress at home. Their mattress was a close 2nd. My back truly appreciated that. Granite tub surround, vanity top and desktops provided a quality sterile finish we liked. No pool, no exercise room and a very spartan breakfast may turn some off but, we only want a clean, odor free bed and bath for the night. They have every TV and movie channel known to man. Literally hundreds of channels. We don't get that at the high end hotels! My wife initially turned her nose up a bit when I pulled in. She was expected a Motel 6 experience but she was very happy after two days! We normally stay at tier 1 or 2 motels/hotels but, the town was booked up with the Antique Festival. I was fortunate to get their last room for the opening weekend. We will stay there again with Bob Patel, the owner, and family.

I went into the room and it smelled terrible. The pillow case had bright yellow stains in the upper left hand corner and there was hair in the sink and tub. There was pop marks on the wall by door, the floor under refrigerator was falling apart and I was afaid to use it. They also were suppose to have a EV charger and they only had one to charge a tesla. Horrible.

Pleasantly surprised by this wonderful motor hotel. Check-in was super fast and I have lots of praise for the wonderful gentleman that checked me in, he was extremely courteous and helpful. Since this is an older hotel I had relatively low expectations but to my surprise the rooms are clean and comfortable, with a fridge/freezer, microwave, dining table and gi-normous tv. It's also so nice to be able to park in front of your room. I would gladly recommend this hotel.

It's 1970's appearance. Very quaint and quite. Many construction workers stay here regularly and the inn staff knows all of them and what they do. Bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Great price and I will stay there again.

Was in our room for less than a minute and we’re covered up to our knees in fleas!!!! The carpets are infested with fleas that attacked us immediately when we entered the room. I have never been so disgusted with a motel in my life. To top it off, the owner showed to concern when we brought this to his attention and asked for a refund.

We were only there for a short period of time since it was a quick trip. The bathroom sink was dirty and had hair trimmings around the faucet, plus the drain was pulled out and left on the counter. Every time we made a call to the front desk, they were very short and unfriendly. The time change plus the fact we were up late at a wedding made us sleep in till checkout and when we called asking for a late checkout, they gave us 20 min to pack our things. Will not be staying there again.

The AC was my only complaint. It was so loud when it kicked in (Room 15) That I couldn't stay asleep even with earplugs in. Other than that ,the bed was super comfy, the room was clean, large fridge with freezer, plenty of nice white towels, easy check in... All in all it was Great.

Has a lot of potential! The rooms were spacious. One had a King and a Double bed along with a kitchenette! And still had room to move. Not as clean as it could have been but I carry cleaning wipes so we took care of it! Bed was comfortable. We found coffee from the previous guest in the coffee maker. Large holes in the ceiling of the bathroom at the vent fan. Carpet needed to be cleaned and everything needed a wipe down. Large TV. Larger fridge and freezer. Microwave worked! Plenty of chairs for seating. Hot water and great water pressure. Friendly staff and ownership. Checked in on us for extra towels. This was a last minute booking and was going for cost over chain.

Upon arrival, we didn’t have to use a key to enter the room. The door just pushed open. Then the ac was off and the room was showing 90*. It did not cool off comfortably until late in the night. As I went to close the door to the restroom I realized the door would not close without some work. Sheets were rough as well. We did not even stay our second night.

This was a great place to stay for the purposes of our trip. We went there to explore the city, the restaurants, the attractions, and we wanted a place that was well located and would make our stay easier. This is what we got, the room was spacious and had many things, like a fridge, a microwave, and a kitchenette (this one we did not use but we liked we had it)

Room door did not close and seal properly giving the impression of being not safe. The bath tub floor had a crack that had been patched with fiberglass, and was so very slippery that I almost fell while taking a shower.

Our room was very spacious, clean and even found toothbrushes, bottled water and toiletries, just in case we forgot ours. We did not use the kitchen, even though it was available in case we needed it. Breakfast was simple with cereal, fruit, and sweet bread. Bob, the manager, was very helpful as well as other staff members always greeted us with a smile and checking to see if we needed anything. If we’re ever back in that area, we will definitely stay at coach light inn. We highly recommend this comfortable place to stay.

Let me start by acknowledging that the hotel manager and his son are two of the coolest people I have met! However, that is not to say there were no issues. There was the loudest banging on the shared wall coming from below me that I have ever heard. When asked to switch they could not accommodate. I had to call expedia and leave early. Also the staff would knock on my door multiple times to ask if I wanted to extend or am leaving when there is a perfectly working guest phone. Overall my experience was mediocre and if it wasn't for the niceties from the staff the review would be one star.

Honestly wasnt expecting much for the price. Check in was a little uneventful, got a key slide across the desk and a point to the vicinity of the room. Got to the room and the AC unit was completely off, since it was August in Texas the temp in the room was 90 degrees. It took hours for the room to cool off. We had some plans that evening and got back to the room late. The Wifi password was not posted in the room so i called the front desk and was told it was written on the key paper. I tried to explain to the guy it was not and he said well the office is already locked up there was nothing he could do. The good thing about our stay was the bed was decent. Spent the entire next day out in the heat, came back to the room late again only to find that maid service came in, changed the AC setting to 80 and it was once again HOT in our room. Maid service, moved our bags around threw out snacks not yet eaten.

I tried to explain to the guy it was not and he said well the office is already locked up there was nothing he could do. The good thing about our stay was the bed was decent. Spent the entire next day out in the heat, came back to the room late again only to find that maid service came in, changed the AC setting to 80 and it was once again HOT in our room. Maid service, moved our bags around threw out snacks not yet eaten.

Great small hotel on the edge of Brenham, but away from Highway 290. Older property but very well kept up and just a short drive from the restaurants and entertainment of downtown Brenham. Clean room, comfortable bed, great size refrigerator, friendly staff. Good central location for daytripping the area, check out the amazing cotton gin in Burton! The hotel provided a list of local entertainment and other activities that were happening in the area that weekend, and we had a fun evening listening to music. Extended our stay by an extra day to check out the area a little more. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to stay for the purposes of our trip. We went there to explore the city, the restaurants, the attractions, and we wanted a place that was well located and would make our stay easier. This is what we got, the room was spacious and had many things, like a fridge, a microwave, and a kitchenette (this one we did not use but we liked we had it)

Lots of noise in the early evening, but quiets down later at night. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is continental with mostly carbohydrates and sugars. Breakfast includes coffee, juice milk, cereal, granola bars, sticky buns, yogurt and fruit. There is enough to get your day started, but not good for diabetics.

We stay here every time we visit Brenham, Tx. This motel never disappoints. Always affordable, clean, quiet and comfortable. The only thing I noticed this time is the breakfast options were almost nonexistent. Figure on eating breakfast somewhere else.

Really nice room, clean and comfortable, Before we booked we made sure they providid bkfast. The breakfast was the worst I have ever seen. It consisted of a grocery store breakfast bar. There was coffee and milk to drink, and I don't drink either. No tea, water, juice, or anything else to drink. There were a couple of loaves of bread and a toaster, but no butter. Unless you can eat sweets, there is basically nothing to eat.

I was pleasantly surprised when we walked into the room, because it was so cheap. It was clean, had been refreshed recently with updates. I was a bit disappointed in the breakfast but it was something to eat that we didn't have to go somewhere else to buy.

Needed the washer and dryer. Only the washer worked dryer was out of commission and the washer only took quarters and the front desk didn’t have any quarters. Other than that, everything was great.

We regularly travel to Brenham to attend the plays at Unity Theater, and prefer to get a room for the night rather than driving back late in the evening. The Coach Light Inn is our go-to hotel for these overnight trips. It is clean, quiet, well-maintained, and very reasonably priced. We have stayed here at least a dozen times, and have never had a complaint. The hotel is located along the 290 Business route, which gets very little traffic at night, so there is no highway noise to speak of. The rooms are clean, the shower has good water pressure, the TV is a nice size, the beds are comfortable, and the windows have the two-layer type of shades in frames that allow you to get the room nice and dark for sleeping. Do be aware that this hotel is very basic, so don't expect a lot of extras. There is no pool, no workout room, no guest laundry facilities, no conference rooms, and the free breakfast is minimal. The building itself is the older "motel style" construction with the rooms opening directly to the outside rather than onto an inside corridor. The rooms do include a microwave and mini fridge, an iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer. If you want a luxury experience with upscale amenities, keep looking. If, however, you just need a clean, quiet room to sleep at night, this is it.
