Very Private and Spacious Waterfront Family House

Property was a great place for a family gathering with plenty of space. What I did not notice was the beds had no sheets on them, I was frustrated at first but felt it may be because they wanted them to be fresh. There were dead stink bugs in the bathrooms (but it is the country side) so I was not upset, I just swept them up and threw then away. The kitchen has tiny black ants, so you will have to make sure to keep counter clean and leave no food out over night. The house was a beautiful setting with a really nice view of the water and the dock worked, we rented a boat for the stay and overall I was really happy with the property. Just maybe needs a thorough cleaning of windows and I used a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar each day to cut the ants back. But well worth the money and it felt like I was a grandparents home for the summer!

This was an absolutely perfect option for celebrating my mom’s birthday. She and my dad are older and have accessibility needs, so having first floor living and bedrooms, plus an elevator up to the main floor from the driveway, made this trip possible. The location is stunning, with a view of the water from most of the house, gorgeous forest providing privacy, and everything was clean and very well maintained. Our dog was incredibly happy to explore the yard and dock, and we were grateful to be able to bring her along. The host was attentive and quickly responded to any questions (we couldn’t find the elevator key when we first arrived, and she helped us within a matter of minutes!) We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with either older family members or a larger gathering (we had a smaller group but easily could have fit twice as many guests!) The perfect house for my extended family to cheer on our daughter who was competing in the Ironman Maryland in Cambridge, MD. The host was gracious and very responsive.

The location and the house were ideal for our visit. Since it was overcast and somewhat chilly, we did not use the pool. The view from porch was greatThanks to the host fir making our visit memorable
