Säffle Suites by Svaneholm Hotel

When check-in neared I got a message with entry codes and information that the booked appartement was at an entirely different address than the one in the listing. Got no information about how to get into the appartment, just keypad code for main entrance and the code to a master-lock. When I messaged the host to get more information about how to actually get into the appartment, I got no response. The host does also not have any phone number listed, so messaging through Hotels.com was my only way of communicating with them. When we got to the address, we had to ask random tenants in the building how we could get to the appartment, because we had NO instructions. The whole experience felt really unsafe and shady, so when we found the appartment we turned around and booked another hotel because the whole situation felt really unsafe. Afterwards, while still in my booking period, I tried to reach out to the host to let them know of my bad experience, but was once again met with complete silence from the host. Would not recommend this host for anything except maybe backpackers or work travels. NOT suitable for families, and you might also not get booked into the address you expect based on the listing.

Apartment needs more chairs and fans in summer.

It is an apartment in a residential building within walking distance from the center of Säffle. Extremely clean, I am taking of my shoes at the entrance. Two bedrooms easily sleeping four. A full kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a large living room. Oh yes, and a small balcony too! Very reasonably priced. There is parking across the street. A little big for one person, but I can handle it. When I come back either alone or with my whole family, this is where I am staying! That is if my review will not get this place fully booked! Please remember, this is not a hotel, it is a cozy, large apartment in a residential building. I did get an email the morning of my arrival with full details on how to get inside using lockboxes. When needed, a phone call solves everything that may be in question.

Very difficult to find the room based in an aprtmemt complex at a different address. Booked and arrived 6 people - but one of the double beds had been used and sheets not changed / cleaned. No staff on address and arrived late

Var veldig vanskelig å finne. Lå i et leilighetskompleks der vi måtte ha kode på 2 dører. Etter mye leting og spørre i nabolaget fant vi tlf og ringte utleier. Da fikk vi hjelp asap. Rent, men vi savnet TV. Byen var vakker. Her må det medbringes shampoo og såpe. Lå en ICA butikk borti gata som stenger 22.00
