Entrance super dark doesn’t seem like it was open at all. Room was ok but seemed outdated. Pool was disgusting and cold. Had to go to front desk to get fresh towels to dry off in pool area. Used towels were laying around everywhere in pool area. Fridge in room didn't work. Hotel said no pets but heard a dog barking. Hotel also said no smoking but smelled marijuana in hallways

Not a bad facility for the price but the rooms are not in good shape. Bad patching and painting, rusting metal in the bathroom and closet, side "security" door (where you'd expect to have to use your keycard after hours) was unlocked 24 hours. They were fairly responsive to after-hours noise, so that was good.

Called when booking andvspoke with a girl she confirmed a first floor larger lush suite. Upon arrival i got a 2nd floor small old room. No elevators!!! Room was dirty, bedding was dirty. No night stands to put phones ect on. No black out blinds so always bright in there and hot. Parking lot lights shine in all night. Not our first stay but will be our last. Very disappointed. Also entry doors never lock!!!

The hallways and facility were very dirty and odorous. My room appeared clean although very rough. There was a large hole in the bathroom door, holes in the walls, massive cracks in the flooring and grout. I only stayed 1 of the 2 nights I paid for as it was very uncomfortable to have to wear my shoes inside the room for fear of cleanliness.

My husband and I stayed at this property for two nights, we stayed in one of the rooms that had the hot tub in the room. Walking in there was a dirty washcloth that had pubic hairs on it in the shower. Then staff was not overly friendly. The rooms were very “cold” in that they were not at all decorated or inviting. The walls were paper thin and you could easily hear your neighbors. The furniture was older and not in the greatest condition. In the morning the hot water was intermittent. The breakfast was decent enough so no complaints there, but I don’t think we will be staying at this property during our next trip to the Chicagoland area.

The employee was on a personal call when we were checking in. Barely spoke to us. The room had a very strong smoke odor. I immediately went to the desk to ask to change rooms. He didn’t give us any trouble but was still on a personal call and never apologized for the inconvenience. Second room had an odor as well, just couldn’t place it. The pool was filthy. Murky water and there were towels all over the floor, tables and chairs. Wall paper was bubbling in the halls and the lighting was very dim. Giving scary movie vibes. At around 7am we lost power for several minutes while my boyfriend was in the shower. Not sure how much or the hotel was affected outside of our entire hallway. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was decent. The woman tidying up the breakfast area was very kind. Gentleman at the desk during check out also didn’t speak to us. Overall, not a great experience. Very disappointed I wasn’t able to swim due to the conditions.

Rooms were spacious and quiet. Bathroom was gross, hair all over the shower and floor. More hair in one of the beds. Furniture chipped, no smoke detector in our room, clearly pulled off the wall at some point. And doors do not work to get in with your key, have to use the main entrance. It was a just a one night sleep, would not be returning.

It was a nice room. The hot tub was nice. The toilet seat was broken so that was a challenge. The bed was alright not overly comfortable. It definitely wasn’t the most comfy hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. It was fine for a one night stay for sure. It was safe and quiet.

Room was spacious, need to upgrade tvs to smart tv’s and get better WiFi service.. The side door was literally open all night unsafe. Kids running through hallway. Guest next door was what sounds to be a party literally music blasting all night. Not sure what breakfast like considering wasn’t anything but mini muffins and bread. Was supposed to have a room with a balcony didn’t receive when brought to front desk attention. She gave a blank expression. Overall will not book again. Could be a nice place if they invest in it!!

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at Chicago Club Inn & Suites. Room service took some of my personal belongings without my permission. When I brought it to the hotel’s staff, they said they will contact me—but no one ever followed up. This is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of responsibility and customer care. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. You cannot trust that your belongings are safe here. Stay somewhere else if you value your privacy and security.

Nice Staff, very helpful! The room was clean, fresh towels were always available. Pool was clean, outdoor seating area was comfortable and family friendly. Breakfast was good! Very close to shopping and nice local restaurants. The stay was an excellent value. The building is dated but on going maintenance is apparent.

Original room at check in reeked of cigarette. Was quickly provided a new room that was great. Was disappointed in maid service. Hung "Maid service requested" on the door on day 2 & 3. No service. Asked at front desk for maid service. Received it on day 4. Hung out request on day 5. No service. Gave up.

Had to ask them for 2 day to get them to clean my room. When we checked in there were spit balls on the wall above the tv. It was still there after we asked them to clean. Found random clothing and toys under the bed. One of the light blew and asked for a new one so i could read in bed and when i left it was still out.

We stopped here on the way to our destination for one night. The hotel was clean but a little run down. Seemed like a safe area, all though it’s not particularly close to Chicago. Had a good breakfast with a lot to choose from and the front desk staff were very friendly.

Very nice and affordable for an otherwise very expensive area. Sits on a major artery, Route 83, at the intersection at the intersection of 3 major Chicago expressways (I 294, I 55, and I 290). You can get to anywhere in Chicagoland easily from here.

The property was run down. The staff was helpful and nice. The room was clean but smelled stale. Carpet in the hall was worn and had damage in places. The courtyard had weeds everywhere. The lobby had very little decor. It just felt run down. We arrived at 3:30. The parking lot was empty. By the time we got back from dinner it was full so the place does get business. We had a funeral to attend in the area and it was only 5 minutes from where we had to go. It met our needs perfectly. Beds were VERY COMFORTABLE! I slept great! No traffic noise.

We stopped here on the way to our destination for one night. The hotel was clean but a little run down. Seemed like a safe area, all though it’s not particularly close to Chicago. Had a good breakfast with a lot to choose from and the front desk staff were very friendly.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and very quiet, and the breakfast was well-prepared and well-served. I really liked it. It's located in a convenient area for shopping and dining, with a variety of options nearby. The hotel needs a little more renovation work, but the staff's efforts to provide good service and maintain the cleanliness and comfort of its guests are commendable. I hope to return soon.

This property definitely has the guests in mind. The staff is on their job keeping the rooms clean the hallways cleaned, salt outside when the snow comes. The hot breakfast is available every morning. I really appreciate the quietness of the hotel.

The breakfast area was dirty the night before they even served breakfast. I know that because I had to walk down to get cups and they were in that area. They also served scrambled eggs but some were green so I ate the only seemingly safe thing there and that was cereal. The didn’t serve any fruit or yogurt.

The rooms were decent but the pull out couches in both rooms were broken. The whole place smelled like Marijuana. The pool and courtyard were nice. The staff was not very welcoming.

Buyer beware! This property was not up to a basic standard of care or maintenance. I initially checked into a room with an awful smell and the jetted job was missing hardware. There was no closet in the room either. The pool looked swampy and not clean enough to swim in. The second room they gave me was a tad bit better but by that time the impression had been made and I checked out immediately.

This place is really gross. So weird because its definitely in a rich area. We arrived and our toilet had poop in it. My husband went to talk to the staff and he laughed in his face, giving us a room that had the door already wide open. The new rooms hot tub was dirty so we didnt bother using it, even though it was the ONLY reason we booked this place. Rooms definitely had the landlord special with the paint. Its a bummer because this place has the good bones and potential but its clearly owned/ran by people who dont care.

Let me be clear, I know the hours are posted on the website and when checking in. However, the pool and courtyard are very nice amenities and additions to a stay but we found it odd and inconvenient that the hours were so restricted and limited. If the pool is already unsupervised and "at your own risk," what does it matter? The courtyard technically wasn't supposed to be enjoyed during breakfast hours? Just seems a shame to have these when you practically have to cut your actual vacation short to make sure to fit them in. I guess if you have no real daytime plans it's fine. And they ARE Nice. But almost more frustrating to pay for and have them when not really able to savor them. It's up to you. I'd still overall recommend this spot for visiting Brookville Zoo, Oak Park, or Chicagoland in general. The price is fair. The restaurant and bar across the street is great! The breakfast is average and fine. The staff is helpful; you'll probably need to ask for more tiny poker chip sizes of soap. Again, seeing the hours didn't really prep me for how restrictive it felt. But all in all good--especially if you just need a good clean bed and place to rest. I just really wanted to like it more.
