Greystone Manor Bed & Breakfast

The location is perfect to get to and see all that this area has to offer: shopping, restaurants, shows, museums and attractions and yet it felt private. The owner and staff were very friendly and accomodating. There were snacks and drinks at all times and I loved that there were many options for breakfast. The room was good but could use updating with individual temp controls and better lighting in the restroom. I would recommend staying here and would stay there again if in this area.

We choose B&Bs for the home-like feel and a full, fresh-cooked breakfast, along with the opportunity to learn about a home. Greystone touched many of those points- a historical home, beautiful architecture and home like feel. The room was large, clean and well apportioned. The location was perfect for our visit to Sight & Sound. We appreciated snacks and beverages available 24 hrs. Our room faced the road and it was considerate to have ear plugs included on our night stand. Checkin was contactless - we never saw an innkeeper…which was fine (no small talk) but inconvenient in the fact that no one living on site was there to cook breakfast when the snow overnight kept ‘staff from getting in to cook the farm fresh, hot meal’. (Although I heard snow plows all night and we had no trouble leaving that morning). Kuerig coffee, microwave breakfast sandwiches and make your own oatmeal wasn’t what I expect at a B&B. Additionally - and we heard multiple guests comment the same - the whole house was kept way to warm! It was nearly unbearably hot. We opened the window and only had a sheet on and it was still uncomfortable. But, if you are always cold, this is a great choice for you.

The room we had was beautiful, spotless and the entire dining table and breakfast table was outstanding.
