Barefoot Beach Resort

Todo súper bien. Ese resort es muy completo muy cómodo, las instalaciones son excelentes. Lo único malo del apartamento 214 que me hospedé esta vez. Tenía chiripas y cucarachas y la cocina estaba sucia. Literalmente conecté la sanduchera y salieron chiripas. Mientras cocinaba salían una que otra. La verdad no pude ni cocinar. No limpian debajo del sofá cama. Cuando lo abrí para mis hijas habían cucarachas muertas en el piso. Y las gavetas de la cocina tenían restos de comida. Que lastima este apartamento así. Porq el lugar es excelente

The condo was very clean. I didn’t realize that there were only steps to the 2nd floor. I would have preferred the 1st floor.

Everything was great!

Live Roach crawling in the shower. Prior renters smoked inside the unit which left a distinct smoke odor each time the ac kicked on. Prior renters left multiple grocery bags full of trash under the kitchen sink cabinet. Alcohol cans, take out and rotting food contributed to the putrid smell. I reported these issues to the front desk upon check out. Smooth check in and out. We only stayed one night as a mini getaway. The appropriate resolution should’ve been a new one night accommodation credit for a different unit. I have pictures and videos.

Reservation for 2 bedroom was made through Hotels.com and Barefoot Beach said they never got it. They had a free 1 bedroom but charged us for the original "reservation" they said they did not have. We said we would stay in the 1 bedroom for 3 nights but they charged us the 4th night of the lost reservation full price of 2 bedroom. One of desk clerks said they had upgraded software and had made lots of errors in credit card charges and reservations--although they blamed everything on Hotels.com. Barefoot Beach was deceitful the whole time. Check your credit card statements!!!!!
