AWFUL place and I highly recommend you do NOT book here. There was mold on my bed and nails sticking out of the headboard. The room was filthy and missing a fire alarm and iron. You have to ask for toilet paper and towels upon check in and the elevator was broken so stairs were your only option.

The elevator did not work. I had lots of luggage to carry up the stairs and back down the bathroom had half a roll of toilet paper and the room was not ready when I got there at 4 PM.

This place is a flea bag. Elevator was broken. I had to literally throw my shoulder into the door to force my way into room 411. Then I couldn't get the door to close. If I managed to get it closed, I would not be able to get back out without help. For a non smoking room, it had a large cigarette burn on the nasty bed spread which was actually a cheap blanket. The toilet was a sorry sight with hat looked like a cheap ebay ring added to a throne. I also booked 409 next door for my son who was going to meet up later. The counter was filthy (see pic). There was what amounted to a railroad spike sticking out of the end of the bed to bang your shins on in the middle fo the night.

The elevator was out of order and I had my 84 year-old Mama with me. She couldn’t climb up and down the stairs so I had to refuse the room because of her condition. I would like to get a refund for my money I had to go elsewhere to stay the night, could someone please contact me?

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Check in took close to 20 minutes when the reservation was already paid for. The elevator was broken and the reception told us we were on the 2nd floor. Looked for our room, not second floor but 4th. Walked into the room only two pillows that were flatter than pancakes. The air conditioning unit sounded like San Diego airport was in the room with us. Looked in the bathroom, no towels. Not a single one. Top of the toilet seat had two giant black foot prints on top. Went down to get towels and were given two. Both seemed to still be dirty. Was told there were no more pillows or towels available. We heard multiple complaints from other patrons even saw two parties cancel their reservation upon arrival. It’s not that hard to go to target or Walmart to pick up towels and pillows for your guests. The photos on Expedia are not what you should expect. The only upside to this hotel was its location and free parking.

Elevator was noisy and worrisome. Lobby floors uneven and variegated. Very little spending by management on towels, room maintenance or general maintenance. Front door was swollen and would not close without excessive force. Parking garage small and parking places even smaller. Refrigerator was frozen over at the top but only semi cold on the bottom. Beds and showers were nice. The neighborhood was also not bad at all. Prices were good for San Diego area. Not staying here again though.

When you first walk in the first thing you notice is how dirty the entrance/check in area is. The elevator did not work and our room was on the 4th floor. Our room was not up to standards due to the cigarette hole on our blanket, the curtains were shredded at the bottom, old, and dirty. The headboard had a handprint on it and our shower curtains were hung by zip ties. As I was getting ready, the vanity light cut off and didn’t come back on. Our toilet seat had paint peelings. We didn’t have any extra towels or tissue and when we asked for more towels we were given towels you buy at a store and they didn’t have any hand towels.

Lesser expensive place to stay. Need was firm but comfortable. AC worked fine. Bathroom all worked. Hot water was good. The bathroom was as well cleaned as I would expect. Some hair was on the floor and in the shower. Nothing excessive but... Parking in the garage is limited and a very tight fit.

You definitely get what you pay for! -Elevator out of order -Floors missing chunks & paint -Boarded up windows -Structure of building itself not taken care of (railing missing from multiple spots around stairs) -Smelly open trash cans at every corner -Dust on floors and in drawers where our clothes would have gone -No bath towels, hand towels, or bath mat provided -Light & fan switches in bathroom not functioning properly -Furniture needs to be replaced (scatches, missing paint, missing pieces) -Housekeeping never came in the 3 days we stayed Staff was friendly and place was cheap though! Absolute worst hotel I’ve been in. Hotels.com should not have a hotel of this quality on their website. BEWARE, very unclean and gross hotel. Mattresses and sheets with stains. Floors dirty. Walls patched up and not painted. It was an absolute horror show. If we didn’t have to get on a boat early in the morning I’d be calling and get us a new place but we didn’t have time. Booked a 2 bed room and they put us in a room with 1 bed and 1 pillow. Finally changed us to a room with 2 beds but still only 1 pillow. We both slept over the covers in fear of bed bugs.

I was quite disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The room did not feel very clean, the bathroom could have been maintained much better. There was also an unpleasant smell that made the room uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless the management improves their cleaning practices.

One of the worst hotel rooms I've stayed in. There was a mold smell throughout the room, mold on the roof of the bathroom and on the shower curtains. Smoke detector was on a shelf, toilet and sink were dirty with hairs, dirt on the floor and dirt on the bathroom vent and on the AC unit. No safe even though the description said there was. No towels in the room and once they were provided they were dirty.

I've traveled to almost all of the 50 states and 15 countries, and this is the most disgusting property I have ever stayed in. The only thing clean were the bed sheets - thankfully. I don't understand how this was on Expedia. Dirt, crumbs, grime, and who knows, on the floor, furniture, bathroom, and open spaces. The once white plastic shower curtains are orange/brown grime at the bottom and there was a used bar of soap with hair on it in the shower. There was only one person working when I arrived, and I had to find her on the property to check in. On top of all that, there was a homeless man hanging out in the landscape of the property, and of course trash everywhere. The pics I took don't tell the real story.

One word to describe my stay : DISGUSTING. I checked in at 7pm and the employee was barely putting a trashcan in my room. There were no towels supplied because they hadnt done laundry yet. Bedpost had handprints probably from previous guest “activities”. YUCK. Sheets were used! Stains and hair on every layer of the sheets. Even the mattress cover. Fridge smelled of chemical, leaking frion and unclean. Microwave was a biohazard. Due to it being so late and memorial day weekend I couldnt change hotels. Everything was so expensive so I felt stuck. Hotels.com and the hotel itself refused to assist me with even a partial refund. UNACCEPTABLE. Never again. GUESTS BEWARE!!!! ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

The bedsheets, sink, shower walls had hair all over, including clippings and long strands. My bed sheets had a big, hard white stain, hence me thinking they were not new sheets. It did not look clean, I found a beer bottle cap and toothpaste spit in the sink area. The shower curtains had pink mold. I left my items in the front office until I could check in, everything reeked of curry. I like curry but I don’t like being enveloped in it. Other people staying there were loud and I was scared because they knocked three times??? On my door. I didn’t even want to leave my room for the rest of the evening.

There was no TV, no Wi-Fi, no flat sheet on the bed (just a blanket). There was no one at the desk for check in, I had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to arrive, no apology. Very very noisy at night, not partying, just some kind of mechanics, loud.

It took 3 tries to get us into A room. first try, the room was not made up by house keeping. second room was occupied and we walked in on them. third try was a clean room but the fridge had old food in it and stunk. When i asked the front desk to send some one to clean it, they refused and suggested i throw everything in the trash (now the trash for the whole room is one tiny bin- similar to ones used in bathrooms). The sheets had stains on them and pillow cases were old and worn out. The TV did not work and when i called them from my cell phone (no phones in the rooms) the guy said he'll be up to look at it. I waited half an hour and he never showed up so i went to sleep. The only positive thing I could say is that the bed was comfortable.

A very basic motel. Thin walls, you will hear everything that goes on, all throughout the night. We had no trashcan in our room, no towels and you couldn't change the volume on the TV or turn it off without unplugging it.

Arrived early and got a room that the television didn't work. No phone to call front and after numerous attempts at getting television to work we got another room with a non working television that was finally started. The second room was cleaner than the first, but still not what the pictures on line showed. It needs a vast improvement to come up to the pictures it shows of itself.

It took about 45mins to check-in Rooms were were dirty, mirrors were filthy, towels looked old and still used, t.v. didn't work, no toilet paper, and bedsheets looked like they didn't clean them throughly...never staying here again...i wasn't the only occupant that complained about the property!!

I didn’t even stay at this place. I checked in and walked all the way up stairs. My key didn’t work. I went back down and said I wasn’t staying here. She said to get a refund I would need to go through Expedia. I need my money back from NOT STAYING HERE.

You get what you pay for here :) The young lady at the counter checking me in was rude and impatient, she gave judgy stares and muttered under her breath in another language then only gave one room key that was dirty and reused. This same young lady spoke to the cleaning lady very nicely and respectfully as she came down to say she was almost done cleaning while I was being checked in. The young man at the counter the next day was polite, friendly, helpful and no muttering under his breath and gave me two room keys which is standard since I lost the one given. It was simply a great location but that is the best I can say about this place, oh and the water was hot and AC worked. The rooms are sketchy at best, tv didnt work, no toiletries, no tissues, no soap, the smoke detector was missing and the carbon monoxide detector was covered with a plastic bag. You get one big towel and a small one,1 thin blanket, 2 pillows, rock hard spring mattress. Bare bones. The elevator doesnt work. The cleaning lady walked in on me right after I checked in to my room to finish cleaning, very awkward.

The first room they gave us had someone sleeping in it. The next room was empty, but we only realized we didn't have towels after I was already in the shower and my BF had to back down to get us towels. The parking spaces were difficult to get in and out of. No one answers the phone either. But they do have a ring doorbell and we were let in at 2 AM one night because we locked our keys in our room that morning. We tried to get keys before we left, but no one answered when we rang the doorbell at 7 AM that morning, so we were thankful they answered when we got back really late.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Check in took close to 20 minutes when the reservation was already paid for. The elevator was broken and the reception told us we were on the 2nd floor. Looked for our room, not second floor but 4th. Walked into the room only two pillows that were flatter than pancakes. The air conditioning unit sounded like San Diego airport was in the room with us. Looked in the bathroom, no towels. Not a single one. Top of the toilet seat had two giant black foot prints on top. Went down to get towels and were given two. Both seemed to still be dirty. Was told there were no more pillows or towels available. We heard multiple complaints from other patrons even saw two parties cancel their reservation upon arrival. It’s not that hard to go to target or Walmart to pick up towels and pillows for your guests. The photos on Expedia are not what you should expect. The only upside to this hotel was its location and free parking.

Incredibly disappointed. Waited 15min for staff at check in to the point we had to go find someone who worked there. Zero hospitality. Room had one pillow, dirty bathroom, dirty mirrors, computer chairs???, and holes in the blankets. Immediately left and booked a new room

BED WAS UNCOMFORTABLE AND OVERALL THE HOTEL IS PRETTY RUN DOWN BUT THE FRONT DESK SERVICE WAS GREAT AND OVERALL FELT PRETTY SAFE THERE. AMPLE PARKING AND GOOD FOOD SPOTS IN WALKING DISTANCE.

Worst hotel reservation I’ve ever attempted to book! Staff was totally unaware of our booking and suffered from a very difficult language barrier with no staff speaking English and a lack of a translator. staff was unable to establish if a room was available and once they “found” one, asked us to wait 40 minutes to clean it; which we did. After the wait they gave us a room with only one bed when we needed a room with two. Manager wanted to temporarily place us in that room and then wait another hour to come speak to us for clarification, and again also did not speak English and only knew this by utilizing google translate. When asked how much our total cost would be if we waiting again, staff could not give us an answer. Immediately asked to cancel and they didn’t even question why. Worst customer service ever received and rooms were atrociously dirty. Do not stay here!

I read reviews before staying so I remembered to bring my own cups. The bathroom was wonderful, the TV had a fabulous selection of channels, and the fridge worked very well. The heater needed work though. The hotel’s location is excellent for restaurants and Harbor Island.

It was a good location, but we had an older room that hadn’t been updated. Also our king bed was not in the proper position? So the 2nd day we turned it properly so our feet weren’t hanging over the bed. It was quiet & we could walk around easily.

Although I didn’t expect a first-class hotel, this certainly wasn’t worth the 110 bucks per night that I paid. The staff was very nice, can’t complain about that, but the floor was totally dirty, bathroom and beds were quite okay, but I didn’t really want to touch anything as the dusting had been done only very superficially. Also some insects around. Breakfast consisted of a coffee dispenser and a packet of oatmeal. All in all, I can’t really recommend the place, unless you don’t mind dirt and noise.

Great location, walking to many restaurants, etc. unfortunately the room was not what I expected. Missing lightbulbs, Bare walls, ripped and old sofa, no lobby and no coffee. It was hard to contact someone at the desk.

Pros : 1. pretty affordable compared to other hotels. 2. Location is okay, you can walk to the Marina and there is a coffee shop on the same block walking distance. 3. Updated rooms. Awesome shower temperature and pressure. I also liked how the sink was separate from the toilet and shower. 4. It does have AC. 5. Smart TV. 6. Parking (bring a small car, very tight). 7. They have shampoo and body wash. CONS: 1. Smells , just a weird odor throughout . The lobby smells, the rooms smell, I’m pregnant and I almost couldn’t handle it. 2. Although updated , it wasn’t really clean. We killed a spider and we also found a big spider leg on one of our towels. 3. Lack of amenities ( no hair dryer, no iron, no tissue box). We also ran out of toilet paper our last morning there (2 nights). Overall, we didn’t mind the stay for the cost. Biggest thing was the smell honestly, it was intense. Room 311.

What a little gem in Point Loma. Literally a 10 -15 minute walk to the marina, with restaurants and a nice bar over the road from the property. Clean and modern room and bathroom and parking beneath the property.
