Room was spacious. Everything worked. Smelled musty. Pool was out of service. Fitness room was never opened. Couldnt take food to your room from breakfast area. Where most people like to enjoy while watching television. Hotel wasnt in walking distance of any restaurants.

Hallway was cluttered and partially blocked. Pool wasn't open due to issues. Room was very dated and the sheets and pillow cases were dingy. The front desk check in was very impersonal and behind glass. Was surprised to find out they required my security pin in order to charge my card.

Easy check in. Convenient to where we were attending a dance competition. Pool was clean and the grandkids enjoyed playing in it. Food nearby. Park nearby. Hotel was older but well kept. Quiet and clean rooms. Parking was convenient to our rooms. Staff was nice. They had a small continental breakfast area, ice machine, vending machines with soda, chips and candy. Rooms were nice. Beds were comfortable, harder than home, but good for a one night stay.

Simple and clean hotel. The breakfast was very simple: bread, bagels, a couple different kinds of cereal, bananas and apples, a box of cookies, juice, milk, and coffee. Only negative was that the pool was completely drained so obviously unavailable to use.

This former DAYS INN is a good property to go to if you dont wanna spend 100 bucks on a room. The room was clean, organized and comfortable. Big king bed (but very low to ground) I love the fact YOU can control the temp in the room with heat, A/C or just a fan. Flat screen HDTV with a clean remote. Clean bathroom. Plenty of towels. If you just need a place to crash, its perfect. BUT, the room does not get very dark for sleeping due to parking lights outside. The frig was not very cold at all. If you stay on ground floor you WILL hear people walking above you. I stayed in a room near a stairwell. Not a problem at night but in the morning, alot of noise. Try to get a room AWAY from the lobby. The workout room had mattresses plied in it. Very noisy in morning close to lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast very limited. Walk next door to the restaurant, best breakfast in St. Charles. Area is fine.

When told that there were bed bugs they got very rude and wanted to see them. I showed them the bloody tracks that they leave after biting and she tried to brush it off like dirt. I have approximately 10 bites and you can't fake that. It also was on the dirty side and had an odd smell to it.

The rooms were cleanish, cigarette burns on blankets, hallways stunk and was hot my husband found a burnt spoon shoved into our tissue box. Breakfast was a joke nothing worth talking about at all. Id definitely splurge on a better one in the future but lesson learned.

Everything smells like smoke. Numerous Cig burns in fitted sheet, flat sheet, and comforter. Went to bed smelling cigarettes and woke up smelling cigarettes. Apparently you need to request a nonsmoking room well in advance, they only have a few. Never again.

Room was fine, hallways were NOT air conditioned. As some room are smoking, the Hotel smelled very stale and old. It was OK for one night for a cheap rate. Sounded like an elephant walking in the room above us. Microwave and Refrigerator were hidden in the cabinets on the wall. A rather small room but again, doable for one night.

We stayed here for one night due to a wedding and for the price, we were very satisfied. This hotel is a bit run down, but the area is safe, the beds are comfortable, and our room was clean. I recommend this hotel for anyone that is planning for a quick stop in St. Charles or wants to stay on a budget!

This hotel is horrible! The lobby is similar to a prison reception area with the front desk literally surrounded by bullet proof glass (the neighborhood the hotel is located in is not a high crime area) and the staff are no friendly at all and they treat you like your subhuman. When I booked the room on Travelocity it said that I dont pay until I get to the hotel but 5 minutes after I booked the room the hotel went into the reservation and charged the card $80.00 more then the price I was quoted online!! the "deluxe" continental breakfast is not even a regular continental breakfast! The food is not fresh and there is a sign on the door that says "no food allowed in rooms". I had a service dog with me and not only did they still charge me $15.00 a night for the dog but they also charged me $100.00 for a "deposit" and then "inspected" the room before they begrudgingly refunded it upon check out. The room smelled horrible, the air conditioning didnt work and the beds were not comfortable at all! I will NEVER stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone

When I booked the room on Travelocity it said that I dont pay until I get to the hotel but 5 minutes after I booked the room the hotel went into the reservation and charged the card $80.00 more then the price I was quoted online!! the "deluxe" continental breakfast is not even a regular continental breakfast! The food is not fresh and there is a sign on the door that says "no food allowed in rooms". I had a service dog with me and not only did they still charge me $15.00 a night for the dog but they also charged me $100.00 for a "deposit" and then "inspected" the room before they begrudgingly refunded it upon check out. The room smelled horrible, the air conditioning didnt work and the beds were not comfortable at all! I will NEVER stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone

Associate was very rude and took payment but hung up and didn’t let us know if processed so we called again and he didn’t let us speak and hung up again. When we got to the hotel he was upset we didn’t initially mention dog but HOW COULD WE if he hung up on US ! Do better and stop being miserable.

The woman at the desk seemed to be there 24/7 and was always polite and helpful. Not an extensive breakfast, but hey, they aren't in the restaurant business! :) We would definitely stay here again.

Took the payment out before we even checked in. Claiming that “that’s what they do, does not matter if I booked with a third party that says I will not be charged til it get there” They are very rude in general. We slept in on accident, and they were pounding on the door like they were police, saying we need to get out or they will charge another day.

First I was surprised when the hotel charged the credit card used to hold the room before 11am on the day I was supposed to check in. When I actually checked in that evening I asked to use a different card to pay. They then charged my room to the new card. There was a sign posted to notify at check in if you had pets. I told them I had two dogs. They notified me that they couldn’t give me a room because all the rooms on the first floor were full and that is the only floor they allow pets. After much discussion I was sent away to find another hotel. Still waiting for two credit card charges to be reversed. Definitely would not recommend this hotel. 😡

This is what a motel is supposed to be. Lots of parking. Big, clean rooms with lots of work space. Hot showers with lots of water pressure. Easy check-in and check-out. Lots of restaurants nearby. I’ve been trying several hotels in the area and this one is the best so far, especially for the price and location.

Room was spacious. Everything worked. Smelled musty. Pool was out of service. Fitness room was never opened. Couldnt take food to your room from breakfast area. Where most people like to enjoy while watching television. Hotel wasnt in walking distance of any restaurants.

There is no breakfast. It’s cereals and bagels. More continental than breakfast. But near plenty breakfast places so location is perfect. Not dirty but lots of clutter. The pool filters should be cleaned each morning or night. But the chlorine balance was good. Overall I would book again

Place was clean, hallways had furniture in them and the fitness room had a lot of furniture packed in. Continental breakfast was very basic with some breads , cereal but some containers were empty, otherwise ok for an inexpensive stay.

They have been accommodating with my requests for location of the room allotted to us. Breakfast was good, especially the coffee. The coffee available in the room was not good though. Beds were ok, bathroom was clean. Overall ok place to spend the night after other leisure activities.

There is an extremely hateful, abusive/aggressive energy loaded lady that walks the halls and knocks the doors at checkout time. She will scream in your face and she will tell you that she is calling the cops on you, despite coming into your room without knocking and proceeding to leave door open while you are getting out of shower and your entire body exposed. She will not apologize and she doesn’t have any concern because her son who does reception during 2nd shift is just as belittling and condescending. He will demand your ID and card or payment and then he will throw them back at you through the small chute where things can be exchanged. This man literally flicked/flung my drivers license and my debit card back at me, past me and into the floor. Once again, never apologetic. It’s pretty evident this is a family owned and operated business and it never seizes to amaze me why people don’t go work/find jobs that they find joy in , instead of staying somewhere they are miserable and instead, projecting their unable to adapt energy and fears on everyone else. If you don’t like the public, DONT WORK IN THE PUBLIC. it’s really that simple. Plus, you guys have had the same old sour stiffened dirty random item of clothing in your back entrance area just sitting on top of all those old a/c units since my first time going there months ago! This is a clear sign of cleanliness abandonment. Which is also weird considering you are live-in hotel hosts. Absolutely greedy and lazy.
