The stay at your motel was very nice. There is one issue that I believe needs attention. Handycapped accessibility needs attention. I had an accessible room # 121. The room was hard to get a wheelchair in and turn it around. In the hallway strip of wood dividing the hallways from the main entry are so bit that wheelchair has problems going accross. You have a nice pool however it is not accessible from handycapped i dividuals starting tfrom the doors that allow you to go outside have a good 3 inch drop. Going outside is one thing, attempting to come back inside is impossible without assistance. Lastly the beautiful wooden patio is impossible to access.

Very nice hotel for after the football game, fast check in and very friendly staff, only bad thing was there was no elevator and I would have asked for a 1st floor room for my wife’s needs if I would have known but great once we got settled in

The room was wonderful and clean. The pool area was nice however it needed more water in it and needed daily maintenance. It had a great outdoor sitting area. Breakfast was good but not well attended. Staff was kind and helpful.

Property is only 2 stories buy has no elevator so be wary if carrying heavy luggage ,breakfasts is on the cheap side compared to other hotels who offer it.For the price paid it was good value.

The hallways and stairways didn’t have air conditioning and it was very hot and humid. The outside temperature was in the 90s. It was uncomfortable walking from the parking lot to the room in the extreme heat. The consolation was that the AC in the room worked great.

Beware! The positive reviews on Expedia are not accurate and are quite misleading. The hotel is dated and dirty. Our room had a horrible smell that was so strong we were unable to sleep. The sheets on one of the beds were stained. The sink did not drain when water was turned on. The shower was moldy. Carpet was stained and threadbare in parts. We tried to call front desk about something only to discover that the phone is a decorative prop and did not actually connect to a phone line! Staff was very pleasant but we relied on reviews in choosing this hotel and feel completely misled about this property.

Very old and humid. Our room had mold and mildew in the bathroom with hair on the floor. Air conditioner rattled.The staff was friendly and did offer us to change rooms and we did due to mildew in the shower. I would have liked a discount or refund however booking through Expedia did not allow for this. Our rooms were very expensive as we were in town for Auburn game. The second room still had significant mold on vents. The foyer was clean and smelled nice. We did not eat breakfast so I can not speak to it but looked good.

Room felt dirty, the carpets, sheets and comforter had several large stains. The whole place had a musky smell. Shower wasnt working well and had terrible pressure. Overall not worth the high price that was charged for the graduation weekend. Motel 6 quality for Hyatt prices.

did not have an elevator, beds that you will roll to the middle of during the night. torn and broken window treatments, the bathroom was a rundown residential feel, like a crack house. humidity in the rooms so bad you will sweat, freeze and be hot all at the same as you try and sleep. and if you go during football game weekends, you will pay premium and honestly i would have rather had my family of four stay in our car the two nights we had to endure. no stars

The lady helping at the breakfast is perfect for that job! She was very helpful, joyful, and great at making waffles! The finishings were ok for an older hotel and it was clean. We didn't like the musty smell and feel.

The bed and pillows are not the most comfortable. You may want to bring your own pillow. The doors are higher up so you can hear everything going on in rooms and going on in the hallway. If people are doing things in the room when you walk by you will hear every single detail. The walls are also thin between rooms. If you sleep with the tv on it will be easier to sleep.

I realize check-in time is 3pm, but we arrived at 2:30pm. It took the front desk 3 different step away times to figure out that that our room was not ready because the beds were not made yet. Then we returned at 3:15pm given a room with NO toilet tissue, a broken lift switch cover in the bathroom with an exposed wire, and a broken refrigerator. Had to complain enough that they switched our room. Overall not a great experience!

We were there for business.Chose this hotel because it was close to our destination. It did not disappoint us. The staff was friendly and very helpful! The room although small was very comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was above what we are used to. Very good ! Thank you Best Western at Opelika!

Im not sure what the girls name was that checked us in. She was the best. So so sweet. I got to have a wo derful conversation with her upon arrival. She was very welcoming.

It seems to be a little older property, but it was clean and kept up. When I walked into my room, it had a fairly strong flower-like fragrance, but after I turned on the air conditioner and circulated the air, it went away. The room and bathroom were clean and everything worked as expected. The staff was helpful and considerate. The breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but it was hot and ready the one morning I partook. It's convenient to shopping and food and close to the interstate. I wouldn't hesitate to say here again.

The price was better than most that had a good rating. The room was clean with a comfortable bed for me (not so much for my wife who likes softer beds). The bathroom had a wonky faucet with a pick hot/cold handle in the shower, and it was unusually high up. Not the most convenient location if you exit the interstate, esp b/c our app took us on an odd route. Even so, I'd definitely stay again, The guy at the desk was super-nice and even took time to enter my Best Western loyalty number, which many hotels won't do if you book through Expedia or another such site.

The breakfast was my biggest issue. The eggs were not warm, the biscuits were rubbery. Our room was nice, it did smell of older people but not overwhelming just whenever you first went in. No fault of the property we did have some folks outside our door at 330am arguing rather loudly for quiet a few mins. It is an older property but was maintained well, location was good, area safe feeling, the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly enough.

For a Best Western, it was an excellent stay. The only complaint was that the breakfast was not great, but it's Best Western, so what can you expect? The property itself was in great condition.

Shortly after checking in and entering our room, a small cockroach scurried across the bottom of the frame around the bathroom mirror. The room also had a faint urine smell on one side of the bed with the nightstand askew like an attempt to clean the smell was made. The power went out randomly around 330am and stayed off for about a half hour. The breakfast consisted of premade frozen then microwaved egg patties and other equally as gross looking frozen foods. All accompanied by a very loud and boisterous “waitress” fishing for tips and trying to “help” where help wasn’t needed. If we wanted a loud breakfast with a waitress we’d go to a restaurant. Not what you’re hoping to experience waking up first thing after a terrible night of sleep when you just want to have your coffee in quiet. The checkout staff didn’t even bother asking how the stay was upon check out or I would have informed them of the above listed issues then. Overall, I would not recommend. I’ll pay the extra $20 next time and stay at the La Quinta or Holiday Inn.

We were there for business.Chose this hotel because it was close to our destination. It did not disappoint us. The staff was friendly and very helpful! The room although small was very comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was above what we are used to. Very good ! Thank you Best Western at Opelika!

The check-in gentleman was very pleasant. The breakfast had a very nice selection. However, the eggs & sausage were cold. Perhaps the warming unit was not working properly.

This is a motel rather than a full-service hotel, so it should be judged accordingly. The room was clean, with fresh towels and housekeeping service every day. The breakfast was good by US standards. The room itself was quite worn and in need of renovation, but it was spacious. The air conditioning worked well. The staff were friendly, and the front desk was staffed 24 hours a day. The motel was located in a quiet area slightly away from the main road, with very little traffic noise. Overall, it offered good value for the price.

This hotel was very nice. The room was large, clean, with an excellent bed and a padded chair. The property seemed older, but renovated. The property was litter free. Breakfast was unspectacular, but consistent with the brand and price. We really liked this hotel.

Dark exterior and interior. Smelled bad. Very old and out of date. No automatic doors. Struggled getting in with all luggage. Then found out they have no elevator and we were on 2nd floor. Struggled to get everything to the 2nd floor. Carpet in room had several gross looking stains by bed. We did not feel comfortable or safe staying in this creepy place. One of the WiFi selections was Big D-ck Energy, which confirmed even more that we were not in a good place Wanted out the first night but couldn't find a place to go. Contacted hotels.com for refund. They did give a partial refund but that was it.

Worst staff and help ever. Came to hotel for my sons birthday to swim there was no water in the pool then they couldn’t even find one of my reservations so I was stuck within room unless I wanted to pay again for another. Then I was promised a refund and no refund at all not even for the reservation that they couldn’t find and I had the confirmation number that they didn’t wanna look up. Left to pay for two other rooms didn’t even stay at the hotel and the hotel hotel.com or chime didn’t wanna refund me anything.
