Baymont by Wyndham Mobile/Tillmans Corner

It was just average. We needed one night just for a place to sleep. It was just that. Front desk was the highlight. Check in and check out was easy. Breakfast was also good. Beds were comfy for the night. There was one ice machine on the other side of the building and it was not working. It was fine for what was needed

Close to I-10. Room and bath were clean, no bugs. Waffle House and full service Mex restaurant across parking lot. Hot breakfast was biscuits and sausage gravy, gravy was a bit thin, pancake machine, standard cereals, instant oatmeal, fresh fruits, breads. Not great, not bad, was ok. 1 ice machine at opposite end from front office. A plus was girl at front desk worked with me on getting a 1st floor room. Traveling by motorcycle. After days ride, don’t look forward humping gear up 3 flights of stairs, lol 2nd plus if you’re inclined, they have smoking rooms on 2nd level only.

I specifically chose your property for the swimming pool; unfortunately, the pool was closed.

Only thing to complain about is the laundry facility being out if order .

I travel for work and stayed at The Establishment for a week. The staff was absolutely amazing and attentive. Housekeeping was great and came every day. It looked like the pool was open but I did not have time to venture there but it was maintained very well. My only complaint was there was no ice machine that worked. The maintenance guy was above and beyond too would definitely stay again

Terrible, nothing like the pictures at all. Waited 15 mins to check in because the hostess was on the phone. My rooms smelled and the paint was peeling from the celing, the air conditioner leaked all night which made the floor soak and wet. The doors and walls paint was chipping as well. Our connecting room door wasn't locked. They just had the desk pushed up against it so we had to force the lock to lock which took about 5 mins, but we didn't want anyone to have access to your room while we slept. Ice machine was out of order.

The property was convenient to shopping and dining. They had a continental breakfast which was nice. The staff was great. what I didn't like was it wasn't enough parking spaces. The room needed some extra cleaning. The refrigerator and microwave needed cleaning. The carpet needed vacuum. The sheets had spots on them. The comforter had a burnt hole on it. mirror needed cleaning.

Staff was great but room, breakfast, and pool underwhelming.

The staff was nice. The room was fine. We just kept smelling marijuana the whole time. It was especially strong at night and there was no ice.

Beds had hair in it. In all 3 rooms we looked at, one room had standing water in the bathtub. Another had no electricity. Front desk service was great. I felt bad for the lady .

We had roaches in our room and asked for a different room. It also smelled musky and the carpet was damp. The only other room available was a smoking room. I didn’t know they still had smoking rooms, but it smelled terrible. It made for an uncomfortable stay but it too late to change places

It was a very nasty motel,we stayed in room 114 it looked like someone was murdered on the couch. It had blood all over the pillows. It had a very nasty smell. Ugh, I hate having to stay away from my home. The picture of this motel online are nothing what it actually looked it. The floor was dirty looked like no one cleans.

The room has a musty smell. The linen looked dirty and did smell fresh. The towels looked dirty and had pubic hair stuck to it. The bathroom was dirty and the tub faucet had a steady drip.

Rooms are clean and the staff is awesome! They are always nice.

This was beyond horrible. I guess it’s you get what you pay for but all I can say is I hope the stains on the comforter were makeup. We had to change rooms at first. 208 smelled like mildew and wet dog. The new room was okay smell wise but the stains were questionable on the walls ceilings and sheets which isn’t really fun but people are nice. Bring your own pillows. And don’t walk around the back of the building. Just don’t. This is not a dare this is a serious no. Other than that shower pressure and heat is non existent so nothing is really comfortable or feels sanitary. I was happy to go back home to New Orleans. Which should say enough.

Check in was fine room had mold in bedframe and lamp. Big gaping crack in shower. Then breakfast was not managed well

The room was not clean

Property has been improving in the last few years. Still minor things that need repaired, handle on dresser, stained vanity. Beds are comfortable, A/C works great.

Chair in room was badly stained, looked to be 20 years old. Bed had spring poking in your side. Everything looked ancient and well worn. Room definitely needs “fresher” looking furniture and more comfortable beds!

I will make this a must stay at the next time I am in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to get a good quality sleep in each night. I was shocked that in my room they supplied you with the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. A very nice surprise.

Don't expect much out of this Baymont. I've stayed in other Baymonts that were nice but this one has the feeling of a transient motel. The girl who checked us in was rude and seemed bothered to have to do her job. We reserved 4 non smoking rooms... you could clearly smell that they were smoking rooms! In half of the rooms, something was not working- tv, remote, lights, outlets, etc. There were people hanging out on the outside stairs drinking out of paper bags. Hookers walking around the parking lot bother. This place was not a normal, vacation style hotel. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else.

Our stay had some serious issues. Me nd my wife were sitting in the room when someone starting beating on our door We know we didn’t give anyone our room number so we didn’t answer it. About five minutes later, the phone kept ringing over and over again, but once again we didn’t answer. It ended up being someone that we knew who knew where we were staying at, but they didn’t know the room number. Come to find out the front desk or the ones that gave them our room number, which is illegal. We called customer service and the front desk several times. They tried to say it was just someone messing with us anonymously. We try to get a refund so we could go somewhere else or second night, but they wouldn’t do it. The second thing that happened is, we were laying on the bed that next morning, and someone without knocking just came through the door didn’t announce who it was and turned around and walked back out the door and closed it. We still don’t know who this is several times through the night there were knocks on the doors and the windows and we had no idea who was doing it, we went to take a shower on our second night but had to go downstairs to the office bring our towels from the night before to swap them out for more towels and wash which is ridiculous. Guess we should’ve stayed at the Hilton.

I wrote my full review on Google because it was too long for Expedia but do NOT stay here. The man working at midnight on 8/26 tried cheating us out of our money by saying that Expedia ruined our reservation but slammed the phone down when an agent tried calling to sort the situation out. We had a 13 hour driving day with a teething seven month old and he refused to give us keys for AN HOUR until we bought another room, spitting lies after lies with no proof about our reservation being messed up by Expedia. As always, Expedia was absolutely amazing and got us relocated to a new hotel after he was completely disrespectful and inappropriate to both us and two different agents. As for the hotel itself, I felt very unsafe. Multiple homeless people lingering in the parking lot because it is dim lit and next to a small field. Don’t stay here.

Check in lady was wonderful very helpful and went out her way to reassure us if we needed anything it wasn’t a problem . Beds are great slept amazing. Breakfast was ok nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. Everything was all around good .

My room was booked by someone else when I booked ahead and the manager had a horrible attitude towards entire transaction. I did not stay here due to management but it didn’t look like a bad place. It was clean with a pool and they offer breakfast.

Our first room was dirty and damp. It smelled like mildew and our allergies were crazy. The front desk lady was very kind and moved us to a new room that was a little cleaner and less damp. In the morning we went to take showers and the shower was broken. Breakfast was only biscuits, grits, and bad coffee. Front desk guy in the morning was extremely rude. We couldn’t wait to get out of Mobile!

Didn’t really care for the homeless people hanging out back where my room was. Only stairs so it was tricky getting my bags up. Not many sidewalks so the jaunt to the mini mart was sketchy.

PHENOMENAL. Me and my Wife always stay here when we're in Mobile and Mardi Gras weekend was no different! Quiet and safe area with lots of food and shopping nearby. The customer service was great and the room was even better! Cant wait for our next trip to mobile!

Very hard to find property. It was located on Tillmans Corner Parkway but there was no signs.

Room and bathroom was clean. Convenient to where we were visiting. Reasonable price.

Very nice for a cheap place to stay. The rooms were nice, it was safe and quiet, and the staff was friendly and courteous. It is by no means a five-star hotel, but you're also not paying for a five-star experience. I would definitely stay there again.

When we booked the hotel we were told that we would have. Room with hot tub. Checked in went to the room no hot tub. Found out it had been rented to someone else. Then we go in the room the carpets are soaked, the couch is all stained and dirty and the room smells of cat urine. Went ahead and toughen it through the night because we couldn’t get a refund. Went to breakfast the next morning (8:30am doesn’t close till 10:00am) They were out of pancake mix, orange juice was empty, jelly was all dried up and unable to use, peanut butter was the same. Had to get breakfast somewhere else. Over all not a good stay for more money than it was worth.

Very clean rooms, really nice desk chair and TV, bed was comfortable as all get out. Housekeeping checked daily if I needed anything and breakfast was great with Biscuits and gravy and pancakes, oatmeal and Community Coffee. Highly recommend for the price. Great stay.
