Location is nice (across from the bay) and staff were pleasant. However, nails were sticking up on the bathroom floor from poorly done repairs, the room was hot and stuffy with no AC, and I would have liked to know that there is very loud live music on the weekends until 11:00 or 12:00 at night. If you like staying up, the music was good, but if you want to go to bed earlier than that, don't stay here. Also, I was hoping to watch the MLB playoff game but room had a tiny TV with limited cable that didn't get TBS. The continental breakfast is basically bad coffee, cereal, and store bought wrapped goods. Not great overall, especially for the price.

Mature property but overall kept up very well. Big bonus is that it has an elevator. While the room was nice, the bed was horrible. The mattress was old and every spring in it rumbled and squeaked with every move. Both of us had aches and pains the next day. We had dinner at the restaurant and the cocktails and meals were delicious. I had the Salmon bowl which was salmon (cooked perfectly) over rice with avocado, cukes and mango on the side on Thursday night. I feel that I got some kind of food illness from that meal. We drove home on Friday after leaving the Glen Cove and my stomach and gut were at war. I later got sick. I could not hold down food for 3 days, and it is now day 5 and I am still fighting symptoms of a foodborne illness. Many items in that meal can cause illness. While the avacado and mango were not in their skins, if they were not washed properly before handling that can do it. The cuke did have the skin on and it's the same situation. Rice is also a haven for bacteria if it sits in a pan waiting to be used. I only mention this because the kitchen has got to take a look at how food was prepped and cooked on Sept. 11th.

We had a great stay. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent and the restaurant and speak easy lounge had great vibes. Only negatives would be the tv in the room is tiny could fit something a little bigger inside the entertainment center and no mini fridge in the room.

Beautiful old hotel in outstanding condition. Great location by the beach. Superior service, I received a call to tell me the room was ready early and I could have an early check-in. The service was just as wonderful from check-in throughout our stay. The restaurant is excellent and definitely worth a return.

The view was incredible out of both the windows, the room was clean and cozy, the staff was extremely nice. The basement bar/restaurant was so much fun- the food was amazing and the cover band playing was really really good and everyone there was LOVING it. The beach was literally across the street too.

This was a great stay. The staff was friendly. The bar down stairs had great food. And the room was nice. I got the bed with a balcony and it had a gorgeous view of onset bay. On a double bonus, despite being an old building it had an elevator, which was a huge relief considering on the 3rd floor.

Being right on the beach was spectacular. Could watch the sunset from our balcony. The pool area has a beautiful deck and bar service so it was a place to get out of the wind off wanted. The room had a kitchenette and we would have used it if we’d been there longer. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee provided. That was one downside. Almost every hotel now provides coffee in your room. We paid nearly $10 across the street to get coffee from the cafe. The people were friendly and the location is unbeatable.

Absolutely the most charming, friendly and picturesque place I've ever stayed. Great views from the room, great food and atmosphere in the bar.Had fun conversations with customers and the bartenders. Friendliest staff, a safe, walkable area with some fun bars close to the small downtown area. I give a 12 out of 10.

Waterfront just across the street but view obstructed when eitting in rovkers due to. Anners hung on railing. Quaint little room perfect for our needs. Very clean and comfy bed. Would recommend.

Beautiful historic building, very clean and charming. The rooms are modest but comfortable. We really enjoyed our private balcony with the rocking chairs. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was lovely, very good food. The beach is steps across, the location is just down from the very busy spot which was nice. Highly recommended.

This historical stop is right across the beach from a beautiful bay. Clean, quaint, great staff. Easy parking. We stayed in a room with deck access and it was lovely. Went for supper at the restaurant on site and had one of the best meals we’ve had on our trip.

The Glen Cove Hotel & Restaurant was a great choice for us! The location is perfect for those who want walkable access to local attractions in Onset. The beach is literally right across the sea and is perfect for a quick frolick without having to lug around the needed beach accessories. The interior of the hotel is beautifully designed. It's slightly archaic (in a good way) and it felt like being inside someone's home. Check in was very easy, and they even called us to let us know that we could check in early (which we didn't since we arrived about an hour later). The room was cozy and clean. Don't expect lots of bells and whistles; it's set up simplistic and I prefer that. Be aware though that there isn't a refrigerator in the room. They do provide 24 hour access to beverages down in the lobby where

The Glen Cove Hotel is a great place to stay! The deck rooms have wonderful views of Onset Bay, and it’s convenient to the beach and several restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel have some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! Some travelers might be turned off by the older elements—they till use old-fashioned keys instead of electronic locks, and the building is a converted historic house, so it doesn’t have the same updates that a chain would. But it’s very quaint and charming, and the rooms are quite comfortable!

The view was incredible out of both the windows, the room was clean and cozy, the staff was extremely nice. The basement bar/restaurant was so much fun- the food was amazing and the cover band playing was really really good and everyone there was LOVING it. The beach was literally across the street too.

This was a great stay. The staff was friendly. The bar down stairs had great food. And the room was nice. I got the bed with a balcony and it had a gorgeous view of onset bay. On a double bonus, despite being an old building it had an elevator, which was a huge relief considering on the 3rd floor.

The entire hotel is absolutely beautiful and has that old charm feel while still having all the modern amenities. The only downside was the mattress. It was like sleeping on ply wood! However, was doable for one night. Any more than that, nope. The views and location of this hotel are so peaceful and beautiful, especially at sunset!

Heather was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the already pleasant room and snacks even more enjoyable. Despite arriving late due to a delayed flight, the overall experience was exceptional. Highly recommended!

Beautiful old hotel in outstanding condition. Great location by the beach. Superior service, I received a call to tell me the room was ready early and I could have an early check-in. The service was just as wonderful from check-in throughout our stay. The restaurant is excellent and definitely worth a return.

Being right on the beach was spectacular. Could watch the sunset from our balcony. The pool area has a beautiful deck and bar service so it was a place to get out of the wind off wanted. The room had a kitchenette and we would have used it if we’d been there longer. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee provided. That was one downside. Almost every hotel now provides coffee in your room. We paid nearly $10 across the street to get coffee from the cafe. The people were friendly and the location is unbeatable.

Glen Cove was so unique. The little town of Onset is so quaint. I was staying there on my own and loved walking on the beach, watching the sunset and shopping in the cute little shop! The staff was amazingly helpful at all times!

Absolutely the most charming, friendly and picturesque place I've ever stayed. Great views from the room, great food and atmosphere in the bar.Had fun conversations with customers and the bartenders. Friendliest staff, a safe, walkable area with some fun bars close to the small downtown area. I give a 12 out of 10.

We've stayed there twice, both excellent, friendly staff, great food and room comfort. They even called my about 10 am the day we were going to check in to tell me we can check in anytime. Great service. Looking forward to being in that area again and staying there.

Location is nice (across from the bay) and staff were pleasant. However, nails were sticking up on the bathroom floor from poorly done repairs, the room was hot and stuffy with no AC, and I would have liked to know that there is very loud live music on the weekends until 11:00 or 12:00 at night. If you like staying up, the music was good, but if you want to go to bed earlier than that, don't stay here. Also, I was hoping to watch the MLB playoff game but room had a tiny TV with limited cable that didn't get TBS. The continental breakfast is basically bad coffee, cereal, and store bought wrapped goods. Not great overall, especially for the price.

The Glen Cove Hotel is a great place to stay! The deck rooms have wonderful views of Onset Bay, and it’s convenient to the beach and several restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel have some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! Some travelers might be turned off by the older elements—they till use old-fashioned keys instead of electronic locks, and the building is a converted historic house, so it doesn’t have the same updates that a chain would. But it’s very quaint and charming, and the rooms are quite comfortable!

The Glen Cove Hotel & Restaurant was a great choice for us! The location is perfect for those who want walkable access to local attractions in Onset. The beach is literally right across the sea and is perfect for a quick frolick without having to lug around the needed beach accessories. The interior of the hotel is beautifully designed. It's slightly archaic (in a good way) and it felt like being inside someone's home. Check in was very easy, and they even called us to let us know that we could check in early (which we didn't since we arrived about an hour later). The room was cozy and clean. Don't expect lots of bells and whistles; it's set up simplistic and I prefer that. Be aware though that there isn't a refrigerator in the room. They do provide 24 hour access to beverages down in the lobby where

Mature property but overall kept up very well. Big bonus is that it has an elevator. While the room was nice, the bed was horrible. The mattress was old and every spring in it rumbled and squeaked with every move. Both of us had aches and pains the next day. We had dinner at the restaurant and the cocktails and meals were delicious. I had the Salmon bowl which was salmon (cooked perfectly) over rice with avocado, cukes and mango on the side on Thursday night. I feel that I got some kind of food illness from that meal. We drove home on Friday after leaving the Glen Cove and my stomach and gut were at war. I later got sick. I could not hold down food for 3 days, and it is now day 5 and I am still fighting symptoms of a foodborne illness. Many items in that meal can cause illness. While the avacado and mango were not in their skins, if they were not washed properly before handling that can do it. The cuke did have the skin on and it's the same situation. Rice is also a haven for bacteria if it sits in a pan waiting to be used. I only mention this because the kitchen has got to take a look at how food was prepped and cooked on Sept. 11th.

We had a great stay. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent and the restaurant and speak easy lounge had great vibes. Only negatives would be the tv in the room is tiny could fit something a little bigger inside the entertainment center and no mini fridge in the room.

The hotel and restaurant were outstanding! There were many special amenities I didn’t expect. It was beautiful and offered a comfy bed. The restaurant was careful about my Celiac requests and the food was delicious! I wish I could have stayed longer.

I would not recommend anyone stay here. The bed was terrible, it was like something my great grandmother had in here house from the 1950. The property was very noisy. Didn’t get any rest while we were there. The rooms are small and very plain. No curtains on the windows and window ac unit.
