The property around the outside was needing a good cleaning, patching, painting, and before we checked out on july 22,2024 it was being worked on. Interior breakfast was in a strange place-anroom converted to a breakfast room. Limited food, "mini" 2 types of bagels, 2 types of oatmeal packets. "Danish" and 1 type of sliced bread. A toaster, butter, cream cheese, jelly. Coffee, apple/orange juice, 2 types of dry cereal and milk. The rooms were adequate, air conditioner was old and should've been updated. It was set on 68° and it barely cooled. Nice mini refrigerator and microwave. Shower head was encrusted with rust and soap scum and an unknown maybe lime scale? But did work. Beds were great, pillows too. No stinky odors anywhere. Price was fair. But didnt give me an easy vibe when checking in when i was stated by Crystal no smoking in room at all no vaping or medicinals? Also my $100.00 deposit was waved cause i didnt appear that I'd trash the room. Well, thank god I'm respectable looking.

Queen bed room is on the third floor, and no elevator. The front desk man is very nice and replace a two beds room on the first floor to me with $10 dollar gap. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.

The property is very run down and in desperate need of updating. The lack of an elevator was challenging for the elderly members of our group. The parking lot is in very bad shape which made walking and driving a challenge.

The people in the room above us walked around heavily for over 4 hours and kept us awake past 2:00 am - no sound proofing at all. Back door to facility was unlocked and unsafe. Place was clean and friendly, but would probably not recommend.

The facilities were in terrible condition. No updates or work on them since the 90's apparently. This hotel is in dire need of life support. There is no elevator, so be prepared to walk (if you're capable) to your 2nd or 3rd-floor room. Even the bedspreads were extremely dated, true 70's vintage mustard and puke green colors. Normally I dig a vintage feel if that's the look you're going for. in this case, I believe it was just a lack of updates. I will say this, the hotel was clean (for what they were working with) and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The check-in went well. The woman working the desk was friendly & helpful. There is construction going on at the hotel entrance. Our rooms (we booked 2) are clean & beds are comfy. Shower was hot. It’s an older hotel, but it’s obvious they’re working at updating it.

Just filthy. The chair in the room looked like it had years of ground in dirt. The smell was horrific! Had to turn off air and leave window open the whole stay. The bedspread even appeared filthy...very dirty room, appearance over all. The check in and staff at desk was great.

The stay started with me paying to check in early, drive 3 hours to get there and be told I wasn't able to check in until 3pm with no email verification that I wasn't able to check in with an early check in. I had to chase bed bugs out of my room . The room smelled like feet and the bed was like sleeping on a rock.

We stayed at this location a couple of years ago because of the affordability. At that time it was not great but the price was right. Now it has gotten worse and the price has increased. The shower was not clean and the carpet in the room was dirty. The whole place has gone downhill.

Tired and run down, needs a lot of TLC. Room had a musty, moldy, smoky smell. probably from the old carpets that are so dark stained & sticky. they need replaced. Step back into year 1980. We did not even take a shower there.

All in all this was a decent stay at this hotel. It does look a bit run down and it was not super quiet due to the traffic on the road in front of the hotel (I stayed relatively close to the front of the hotel close to the main road). The staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was decent enough to serve the purpose of a place to stay for the night while on a long journey. If you are just looking for a place to stay for the night and don't care about the aesthetics or the road noise from semi trucks using their engine brakes, then this place is pretty good.

I was told after having a $64 paid receipt & bank statement that my card was declined and that I would need to cancel my booking and re-book. After chatting with Expedia, it was confirmed that they were trying to double charge my card. Expedia cancelled & refunded my booking, and when I went back inside I was told the original booking was cancelled. When I was ready to re book a room, they gave me a new price of $103. When I asked why, they claimed expedia has their own third party prices. Immediately the Second Gentleman stepped up and offered me the room at a rate of $70, negotiating against himself. Nothing about the interaction seemed right. I explained how sketchy the entire situation sounded, and promptly left. Never again.

Great value for an overnight stop when traversing the brutal I80. Doesn't look like much, but it's right off the highway, feels safe, property is old but perfectly clean, and the price is much lower than other towns off the interstate. Plus the town of Brookville is a 2 minute drive away and is delightful.

Close to highway and was comfy and clean enough for a stay over. Not cleanest but decent for a stop over for the price. McDonald's right next door and easy parking. Truck stop though so kinda noisy. Nice that it is not open air motel. No bugs or roaches found. Shower was decent and beds were enough for a stay over.

This place is if you realy need a place for the night. Run down dirty breakfast is coffee two glass jugs of ??? and a muffin if you get to them before 8:55 . ( sign says 9:00 but was put away at my check out 8:55) If I had to do again, I would sleep in my car at the truck stop.

The girl at the front desk did her best to help us out. THe problem was not her at all, but the room smelled terrible. There was spoiled food in the refrigerator. We went out to buy air fresheners, but didn't do much over the 2 days we were there. They say they breakfast, but it was a joke.

Although the building is aged and other reviewers were not so complimentary, I had my reservations. I was pleasantly surprised with a very clean room/bathroom, new sheets/pillowcases, comfortable bed, and overall quietness in the hall and building. You can see the owner has made improvements probably by responding to the reviews. Would recommend repairing holes in door/walls rather than using tape.Breakfast was ok with basic cereal, bagels, bread, coffee, tea. All good.Would recommend staying here.

Furnishings were worn and outdated. Breakfast was the worst I’ve seen in quite a while- no fresh fruit or many choices. The whole building needs updating. It was clean and check in was friendly. Price was cheap.

Checkin service did not work. Girl at desk very rude and not helpful. Amenities did not work. TV service was out... Motel claimed it was the provider. The provider claimed to have no outage. Claimed to have breakfast... They did not. Terrible stay.

The room was clean but the “comforter” was stained. Not sure it was even clean. The hallway smelled so strong of marijuana it was seeping into our room. Not a kid friendly place since they also have smoking rooms. There is no breakfast, which is the only reason why I booked it in the first place. Apparently they switched ownership recently and took away breakfast but haven’t updated their website.

Prices have gone up but amenities have decreased. Some cosmetic repairs but still outdated decorating, No extra outlets for charging cords or laptops, NO breakfast at all anymore, and now a cc hold is required. We'll be passing on this one from now on.
