Did not stay there. Called to verify my reservation they could not find me in the system. Website claimed the use of a pool but that wasn’t true. Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and am having a great time.

It's an excellent budget hotel. Room was clean and updated. Hotel common areas were fine. The breakfast was also pretty good - they served scrambled eggs and sausage patties along with all the usual stuff. And the price was right and the only charged $10 extra for my dog.

I use this property a lot. It’s affordable, pet friendly with a very reasonable pet fee. My only complaint is 1/4 times we’ve stayed there the room did smell of urine. But I can’t let one bad experience ruin it for the next time.

Very comfortable and clean. Have a dog and they only charged $10 ....very reasonable. The young lady at the front desk, Samantha, was very polite and helpful.

Price was ok for a 1 night stay but the pool was closed for “ongoing maintenance”, no canteen and the vending machine was “out of order” as was the printer at the “business center”. May be time for a property renovation.

Something is wrong with their vents maybe but the smell in the room and the gym was TERRIBLE and was very musty/moldy and permeated the whole room. The staff was friendly, and everything was fine otherwise but the smell just kind of overpowered everything.

The first room we were given smelled so bad from mold, we had to ask for another room. The 2nd room was slightly better, although the mold on the ceiling was concerning and, while not the hotels fault- the extremely loud rumble of a truck at 5am woke me with a jolt. About the only positive thing i can say about the property (aside from the waffle breakfast, which we appreciate) was the very kind young lady at the front desk. She tried her best to get us into a better room and was very sweet. We will not be returning.

The person who checked is in barely greeted or talked to us. We got to our room, and everything seem okay. The cabinet that the refrigerator was in was broken and everything looked old and worn. But, it seemed clean. I woke up the next morning and saw two huge stains on the bed skirt. When I got in the shower I noticed there was mold around the soap shelf. We decided not to spend the second night and went home.

The staff were fantastic. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The price was great and location perfect. Unfortunately the heating units whined. We were moved to a new unit and it also had the same issue. The refrigerator also whined and rumbled when it kicked on. Someone had set the alarm clock for 4 am and it went off as well. I unplugged it. Not a good choice for someone who can’t sleep through these noises.

We enjoyed our stay and customer service was top notch. We traveled with our dog (which we were grateful to have a pet friendly option at the hotel) and the room we were given was great for easy outside access. The only downside was the wifi was not strong enough in our room to connect our pet camera so we could have eyes on our pet when we stepped out. I did not request a room change or ask if a booster was available since we were only going to be out for a few hours.

Traveling to NC from NE OH. Arrived late in the evening. Toilet was not working in room. No plunger in hotel. Traveling with 2 kids. Night staff offered another room at midnight and finally gave us the key to use the room next door for the bathroom. Hotel needs upgrade. Plumbing is horrible. No real breakfast as advertised and even when I required at check in I was told there was. Cold cereal and bagels was all that was offered. Not the hot breakfast as we were led to believe. Room was hot upon arrival we had to turn on the air and to keep it comfortable and ran the A/C all night. Could have been cleaner. Overall it was not a pleasant stay. All the hotels in that area are crap.

This place is horrible. Apparently the toilet was already clogged before I even checked into the room so once I used it, it only worsened the problem. Had to go to the front desk and get a plunger. I couldn’t get the clog to free so I went back down. The nice young lady at the front desk said they were sold out for the night and couldn’t switch me to a different room but then she said they had a few on hold in case of emergencies. She tried to switch it to one of these on hold rooms and when she did, the manager called and ripped her a new one over the phone which I could clearly hear. He said not to switch me and to instead call the maintenance guy. I waited for about a half hour before he came up and he couldn’t break it free either. After being checked into the hotel for almost 4 hours, they finally switched my room. The manager was more worried about losing his money than taking care of his customers. The bed sucked, the shower had mold around the top and they obviously don’t clean very well if they left a toilet clogged before they left it. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere decent.

Very nice, clean hotel - good location for getting around in Frederick. Don't let the exterior fool you - its very nice inside.

Very nice, clean hotel - good location for getting around in Frederick. Don't let the exterior fool you - its very nice inside.

Nice property. Staff was friendly. Location was amazing, lots of food and shops close by. Room was clean. Had a mini fridge and microwave. Nice size bathroom. Didn't try the breakfast, but it smelled good and looked like it had plenty of options. The do provide the bigger installed bottles of lotion, shampoo, and conditioner but they didn't have body wash. The shower did make a loud whistling noise. Other than that, no complaints.

The hotel was right off the highway. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. The only complaint was the refrigerator ran all the time.

The room was clean. Bed not the most comfortable but had worse. Restaurants really close within walking distance. The breakfast at the hotel was very limited on selection and mostly microwavable items. So if you're looking for a warm breakfast (ie waffle maker, eggs, meat) this is not the place for you.

Room was comfortable. Needs some updating. The carpets were stained. The shelves in the refrigerator were broken. The breakfast was below average. All microwave items or items needed toasting. Nothing hot. Average stay.

It's an excellent budget hotel. Room was clean and updated. Hotel common areas were fine. The breakfast was also pretty good - they served scrambled eggs and sausage patties along with all the usual stuff. And the price was right and the only charged $10 extra for my dog.

Front desk staff was great. The poor rating is for the breakfast. It was a joke. Pitiful. No one visibly attending the breakfast therefore no coffee. Options were very limited and completely unappealing.

This property met my expectations at a very reasonable price. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was ok. No hot dishes like eggs or bacon and sausage but did have a microwavable egg sandwich. Unfortunately, at the time of our visit, construction of another building took some parking spots so parking was a challenge when we arrived after midnight. Overall I would recommend to others and stay here again on my next visit.

Clean and quiet room had issues with the a/c. Told staff they seemed helpful. I had a voicemail that they were trying to accommodate us but I lost service and never seen that I had a missed call. So they tried to resolve the issue. If not for the a/c issues would have been 5 star stay.

This may be my last stay at this property, My wife and I have used this hotel every month for the past year and I am sorry to say that it may be our last. When we checked in our room the first problem we had was the toilet would not flush properly. When I reported the problem to the manager on duty. He handed me a plunger and told me to use it on the the bathroom toilet myself. He was very nonchalant about the situation and didn’t even investigate the issue himself. He did not offer us a different room or call a maintenance man. Or even apologize for the inconvenience. The next issue was the television lost the connection with the cable provider and when I reported it to the front desk he simply added my room number to a list of other rooms with the same issue. After a little while he came to our room and knocked on our door to inform me that he had called someone and at the cable company and was told that it was a problem with “half of the city.” After about half an hour the programming came back on, but again he didn’t apologized or offer any explanation or anything about no worries about the situation.

We haven’t really ever traveled with a pet before so we were nervous about how that would affect our stay. Everyone was very accommodating and gave us a room on the first level and near an exit door. It was very pleasant and now we have a good spot to go to in the future!
