We had a very pleasant stay. Found great places for our meals. Only disappointment was no elevators to second floor. We are seniors and it was extremely difficult to get our belongings in and out of our rooms.

The basics were good--clean and spacious rooms, and great location. Some amenities were lacking--no elevator so had to lug bags upstairs, front desk closes at 8PM, a restaurant and bar were advertised but it was not functioning (and it was already mid-June. So overall ii was just so-so.

Dirt and rock parking lot not cool, landscaping could use a freshen up, looks neglected. Nice location, but a little curb appeal would help with people coming back, or choosing better maintained grounds.

Clean hotel. Screen doors were broken and locks on sliders were broken but they had sticks to jam them with to secure it shut. The AC pipes leak pretty bad outside the sliders so you get dripped on. But the area is GORGEOUS. I would stay here again overall for the price.

We loved our stay here! Very chill, laid back atmosphere with a great bar and fire pit! Easy access across the footbridge to dining, shopping options. Older property but we liked that vibe☺️

Check in was easy.The room was very clean, as well as the linens; no elevator but staff offered to carry our bags to the 2nd floor. The outside area, bacony, needs powerwashing; however we had nice clean deck chairs and the view was outstanding. Watching the boats and harbor activities was relaxing and enjoyable. I do feel that a nice simple fresh continental breakfast should be included with the price we paid. Although there were good breakfast restaurants nearby, we it was fine. We would come back.

I had asked for a handicap accessible room which we did not receive,there was only one designated parking for handicap,there was no free breakfast like their website says,the room was crowded,with furniture so my husband being in a wheelchair made it difficult for him to get around,I had to help onto and off the toilet as it was low to the floor and there were no grab bars.He has one leg and no prosthetic as he is unable to be fitted for one.The 1148.00 Was way to much for what we received and the refrigerator didn't keep anything cold.Putting a shower chair into the bathtub doesn't make the room handicap asseccible

Great location. Walkable to all shopping and restaurants and bars. Parking a little bit of a pain but so is whole town. Wished they had some options for breakfast even just items for sale. More defined hours for bar to be open would have been nice too.

The view was great. The room, while dated, was clean and functional. The check-in was at a building next door and the directions were poor and hard to follow/understand. The parking lot is unpaved, so one has to haul their suitcases across gravel. And the (rickety wooden) stairs?, daunting, and at the point of being unsafe. Pass on this place.

The property looks like the owners are tired - generally clean (except ants) but in need of some repairs...so it didn't actually feel clean. For example, our room was missing one of the two curtains and we had to hang a blanket every night to keep out the LED bulb right outside our door. Also, not all bayfront rooms are actually on the bayfront - some are set quite a bit back from the bay...so be aware. Probably overpriced but everything in Boothbay is that way so they're not out of line.

upon check in we were given a dayed room from the 80's fully outfitted with mold mildew and the stench of animal urine when we complained we were told o i just cleaned that room i said well it stinks and my child cant take the mildew she kindly moved us to a better room which is a lot nicer but still mold and mildew

Our bathroom was gross. Long hair stuck on the walls from someone showering then using the blow dryer. The room was very old and smelled old. It’s a great location but don’t expect much.

This hotel was clean, but in every other respect, it was a dump. The room was dowdy and depressing - not a single piece of artwork on the walls. Our room also had drop-ceilings and exposed pipes. The bathroom was reminiscent of a hospital room bathroom. My room was more than $200 per night, off-season, and we didn’t even get housekeeping service. A Super 8 would have been preferable - at least I wouldn’t have been disappointed. Stay elsewhere.

it was easy walking to town for eating & shopping.. the sink would back up & dont know why they dont take care of that... annoying neighbor w/tv all nite - complained to front desk & was told they'd speak to them - same the next night... thin walls for hearing neighbors tv... hard to get tv guide on the tv.... comfy beds,,fridge to use,, easy walk to town over bridge

This is our third trip, and I opted to splurge for the “premium” room. It was a little underwhelming for $300 a night (previously I stayed in harbor facing for under $200 a night.) The property is great and the walkability is why we stay there, but the room was disappointing, dark, and the kindergarten toilets in my school are higher.

Great location right at Boothbay Harbor footbridge. Walk to town, boat docks, restaurants. Gorgeous views over harbor & for sunset. Comfortable outdoor seating areas. Hotel decor & furnishings are dated however comfortable and clean.

Room was dated, furniture condition poor, beat up, ceiling tiles loose, screen door off track, just not worth the price. Hasn't been touched since the 70s. Luckily we just spent one night and were on our way. Think very old Motel 6. Other reviews reference breakfast which was non-existent during our stay (local referral list provided). Boothbay Harbor was great, but the hotel was not. I guess my standards are higher than most other reviewers. Very disappointed for the price.

Our flight was delayed by two hours. There was NO way we would arrive at the Inn by the latest check in time and I was very stressed. When we called, the very friendly front desk representative put me at ease and gave specific instructions on how to access the Inn and find everything we needed to check ourselves in. Very easy and efficient. It was so nice to be able to take hot showers and go to bed without any problem after the day we had!

Our flight was delayed by two hours. There was NO way we would arrive at the Inn by the latest check in time and I was very stressed. We were given a key to the wrong room. Someone else was already in that room. You can hear EVERYTHING. Blinds and curtains dont fully block so walking by rooms you can see the bed. Have to dress in bathroom for privacy.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boothbay Harbor Inn. We booked a corner room, and the view was magnificent! We had a lovely balcony to watch the entire harbor area. Lynn and Stephanie at the front desk were incredibly helpful-their customer service was truly outstanding. We can’t wait to return to this lovely hotel in Boothbay ! Thank you Lynn for all your recommendations for walks n hikes!

Great Staff, Especially Stephanie! She went above and beyond to have my room ready when i arrived a little earlier than i first anticipated, never hesitated and did it with a smile! The Bartender whose name slips me was a wonderful man who spoke 7 languages and helped teach us a little! What a fantastic Team you have assembled!!

The staff was incredibly accomodating. The place was quiet. The view was gorgeous. The parking was free. It was very easy to walk across the bridge to town.

The view was great. The room, while dated, was clean and functional. The check-in was at a building next door and the directions were poor and hard to follow/understand. The parking lot is unpaved, so one has to haul their suitcases across gravel. And the (rickety wooden) stairs?, daunting, and at the point of being unsafe. Pass on this place.

It was our first trip to Boothbay Harbor. The inn is well located across the narrow water bay from the downtown activities. There is a walking bridge right outside the inn which will get you into town in about 5 - 10 minutes. Great for picking up some breakfast items and sitting outside your room watching the water activity while you eat. The room itself wsa clean and user friendly. The bed was soft, which we prefer and we both slept well. The price was reasonable for that area and time of year (mid-June). The only problem we had was finding the correct driveway to the office but it became funny when I kept missing it. We'd stay there again without hesitation.

Screen door to enter property doesn’t close without slamming, pop machine broken, limited parking, keurig had used pod in it- room clean- walls are thin and can hear people waking above us- footbridge under repairs so can’t walk into town, had to drive- this isn’t the fault of the property. Definitely a 2 star property though price doesn’t reflect that. Check in was fine, staff at desk pleasant.

Great location right at Boothbay Harbor footbridge. Walk to town, boat docks, restaurants. Gorgeous views over harbor & for sunset. Comfortable outdoor seating areas. Hotel decor & furnishings are dated however comfortable and clean.

The basics were good--clean and spacious rooms, and great location. Some amenities were lacking--no elevator so had to lug bags upstairs, front desk closes at 8PM, a restaurant and bar were advertised but it was not functioning (and it was already mid-June. So overall ii was just so-so.

It was just ok. I chose this hotel because it was listed as having a restaurant and bar. The restaurant was completely closed down and the bar was only open from 4 to 8. The room was pretty run down and the shower drain was clogged.

You pay for the location but the hotel needs a total renovation!!! Very disappointed in the accommodations. Would be nice to have a breakfast option.

We loved our stay here! Very chill, laid back atmosphere with a great bar and fire pit! Easy access across the footbridge to dining, shopping options. Older property but we liked that vibe☺️

Location was great. Accommodations were clean. We were a little disappointed that the restaurant/bar was closed. Apparently the bartender left 2 days before the end of the season. Would definitely consider booking again.

we loved booth bay harbor but the hotel itself was a little disappointing for the price, compared to the numerous other hotels and motels we stayed at during our road trip up and down the coast of Maine. While there are many restaurants and food choices just a couple of minutes walk away, the hotel itself does not have food, just a bar.

I booked the room expecting a bar/restaurant. Got to hotel at 07:15 pm. I was expecting other places to go to while I was there. Holiday weekend and most everything was closed at 8-8:30 pm. Went to front desk and the bar/restraurant was closed do to lack of help and COVID. When I booked thru the site i was expecting accommodation at the hotel.

Greta and Linnea at the front desk were amazing! So friendly and helpful! The room was very clean and a beautiful view of the harbor. Everythingwas within walking distance so we did not have to drive anywhere. I wish they would offer a breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

We were on the end with a small dog and it was perfect to take him out to potty. There were plenty of seats to sit outside and enjoy the weather. We enjoyed sitting in the swing and watch the busy harbor. The walking bridge over to the shops and restaurants was just a few hundred feet away. It was so easy to use. Great time!

The walk across the footbridge takes one to the main part of the town with lots of eating places and shops. There are sitting areas outside of many rooms with a good view of the harbor and very relaxing.
