Elisso Hotel

Vi fick inte det rummet vi betalade för och då försökte de bortförklara att ni endast kan få detta rum. Vi klagade och de ville inte ge tillbaka pengarna. Rummen är fyllda med myror också

Personal och hotellmanager var trevliga. Vissa i receptionen var dåliga på engelska och lämnade ingen information vid incheckningen, andra var duktiga på engelska och informativa. Priserna på hemsidan och i baren var inte uppdaterade för säsongen och vid utcheckning krävdes högre priser än vad som stod på prislistan. Barpersonalen blande ihop rumsnummer så notan vid vid utcheckning stämde inte. Det tog 30 minuter att reda ut. Poolen var ren och fräsch liksom solstolarna. I frukostrestaurangen fanns inget smör en av dagarna då de glömt att beställa hem. Men då går man väl iväg och handlar det på närmsta supermarket om man vill kalla sig 4-stjärnigt hotell. Gymmet var inte funktionsdugligt. De hade ingen lunchrestaurang öppen. De lever inte upp till 4 stjärnor, men var helt okej att bo på.

Kudos to the lady working on Friday until 12 am *Having a pool nice touch *Location very nice village with plenty of restaurants *Quiet . No noise from other rooms or outdoor *Pillows comfortable *Breakfast ok. Needs improvement (see below) *Bar open until 23 for a drink To improve: *Lacking attention to details my room was one of the few or only one with no blackout curtains not sure why *We booked the suite(interconnecting rooms ) to have more space and extra bed . The sofa bed had stains and I think the room would have been better with a proper bed and a sofa bed . Not 2 sofa beds *The bathroom needs updating and the shower too *The safety box had no keys so we were not able to use them (both) and old style . Time to update to XXI century and put the ones with passwords *Breakfas was ok but could improve. Not sure why French fries and onion rings are needed in the morning. Perhaps more healthy stuff could do . Also at times there was queue for the coffee machine Overall we had a great time in Lefkada, I don't really think this is a 4* . Perhaps a 3*+ but lacking nice touches, bland decoration . And attention to detail .. a bit dated at times different from the photos online

The hotel is outdated. The water pressure in the showers is weak, and the air conditioning is weak. The hotel staff tried to be helpful and provided excellent service.

5 star views and location. Got locked inside our room many times and staff didn't have the right expertise to fix the issue intil a contractor fixed it last day. 2 stars off for not being offered even a complimentary appetizer or drink over this.
