Great location with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants close by. Louvre in walking distance. Clean, good size room. Very friendly staff. Very tasty breakfast with super service. Elevator did not work during our stay (and could not be fixed over the weekend). Luckily we stayed on 3rd floor and the stairs just added to our exercise.

Property is very old. Tiles in the shower coming off. Thermostat doesn’t work, it’s very hot in the room. Website says valet parking which they don’t have. Breakfast room is under renovation.

Leider Zimmer Kategorie entspricht nicht der Beschreibung und den Bildern im Internet! Aufpassen! Die verlangen mehr Geld für das Zimmer welche eigentlich schon gebucht hat!. Sauna / Wellness befindet sich im Keller und ist in sehr schlechtem Zustand. Suite Zimmer sehen sehr gut aus. Große Fenster, bequeme Betten. Lage ist perfekt. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen .

Awesome stay. First of all, location is super convenient to a lot of places Paris has to offer within walking distance. We had a beautiful spacious room with all the modern amenities, comfortable bed, large bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower, all the toiletries eco-friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of dishes hot and cold, good coffees and teas, excellent pastries. There is a happy hour at the lounge every day. Excellent service, professional and friendly hospitality from everyone on premises including complimentary umbrellas by the front desk. If you are planning to visit Paris this is the place to stay for location, professionalism and friendliness, excellent quality if services offered including rooms and breakfast.

The hotel is very convenient for walking in central Paris. Very close to the Louvre and Notre Dame. There is no parking associated with the hotel. There is a parking garage close by which was expensive. Staff missed cleaning one of the 2 days.

L'accès au Spa est en supplément (59€),.ce qui n'est pas mentionné sur le site de réservation. Cela rend le rapport qualité-prix très mauvais. Le lobby est très petit, plutôt un comptoir qu'un lobby. Relations très désagréables avec la réception en ce qui nous concerne. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

A lovely hotel. Excellent location close to lots of key sights to visit. Staff were friendly and the room was spacious. We’d definitely recommend going for dinner at Au Chien Qui Fume which is close by as the food was delicious. The only downside is that there was renovation going on in the main reception area so it was noisy at times and the builders got in the way coming and going from the hotel. Obviously we understand it has to be done and some point and it was bad timing as it coincided with our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The property was immaculate and the breakfast excellent. The location is good. We were in the basement and the hallways were dingy and not so clean. Our room was very quiet in a busy city and well looked after. We thought the staff was friendly but not as much as the reviews stated. Overall we would recommend the hotel. Good value.

首先酒店職員服務態度非常好，十分友善和很有禮貌。酒店附近食肆林立，很多選擇，行街購物也十分方便。酒店房間寬敞舒適和清潔乾淨整齊。不過酒店餐廳清潔就有待改善，原因是我發現盛載橙汁嘅玻璃杯既然留下之前住客嘅紅唇印在杯上，員工沒有洗乾淨及檢查，真是嚇了一跳，十分噁心。再加上有蒼蠅在食物上飛來飛去，令人不安。

Lovely and helpful staff. Good room and bath size. Cleaned every day with fresh towels. A rug or two on floors would add a lot. Also should have anti-slip mat in bath, shower.

The hotel was rated as fabulous, but it absolutely was not. The furnishings were so worn and dated. We booked a suite, but the room had not been freshly dusted. It was probably not used for a while. It was clean, but not fresh. The coffee maker didn’t work the stuff with lovely, but the room is simply not up to par.

Cobraram antecipadamente parte da estadia quando o acertado via Hoteis.com seria o pagamento na chegada. Hotel bem antigo que recebeu uma mera recauchutada. O principal elevador está em péssimo estado de conservação. No primeiro dia da estadia tivemos um problema: saímos para passear 10hs, colocamos a plaquinha de favor arrumar o quarto, voltamos por volta das 18hs e o quarto não estava arrumado. Reclamamos e a resposta: é assim mesmo, damos prioridade aos quartos que receberão novos hóspedes (o que indica uma equipe insuficiente para o volume de serviço). Insistimos que a situação era absurda e nos dias seguintes melhoraram. O ralo do box do banheiro estava com cheiro horrível na chegada, o que melhorou um pouco deixando correr água quente do chuveiro. O quarto era espaçoso, com cama e lençóis confortáveis. Café da manhã bem variado e gostoso. Boa localização.

On the upside, the staff was very nice and the location was good. We were hoping for the modern upscale vibe the website described when we booked this hotel. When we arrived, however, the lobby was exceptionallly small and dark and reeked of an off scented potpourri. The hallways were very narrow and completely dark until motion detector lights sensed our presence. Our room was also a disappointment. We paid for an upgraded room with a “city view” but what we were given was an attic room with slanted ceilings and 3 dirty skylights - there were no windows that we could see outside of. The “luxury” bathroom was crowded and also had the slanted ceilings and you needed to step up into the shower which had mold on the grout and was the size of a phone booth. Also, not worth selecting the option with breakfast included as there are much better options outside the door. Thankfully, the second leg of our trip included a beautiful hotel in London.

Location brilliant , bed and bathroom as expected however sloping roof with blinds covered by hanging see through drapes meant light came through at night and drapes encroached on our space which was dissapointing. Also no tea or coffee facility in room.

L'Empire is a wonderful property, from the rooms to the staff everything could not be any better. We booked the two connecting rooms on the 5th floor and the way they were laid out we basically had a nice little two-room apartment. Location wise, it's a 2 minute walk to Pont Neuf, easy walk to the Louvre, and across the street from Samaritaine. L'Empire is a wonderful property, from the rooms to the staff everything could not be any better. We booked the two connecting rooms on the 5th floor and the way they were laid out we basically had a nice little two-room apartment. Location wise, it's a 2 minute walk to Pont Neuf, easy walk to the Louvre, and across the street from Samaritaine. Several metro lines are within spitting distance, connecting you to everything Paris has to offer. The staff were wonderful, tolerating my horrible attempts at French and offering insightful advice to enjoying the city. We had a beautiful spacious room with all the modern amenities, comfortable bed, large bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower, all the toiletries eco-friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of dishes hot and cold, good coffees and teas, excellent pastries. There is a happy hour at the lounge every day. Excellent service, professional and friendly hospitality from everyone on premises including complimentary umbrellas by the front desk. If you are planning to visit Paris this is the place to stay for location, professionalism and friendliness, excellent quality if services offered including rooms and breakfast.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only piece that surprised us was our room, even thoigh mentioned in the ad, did not have a terrace which was disappointing. Also our room was in the basement. There was a window to a small atrium area, not accessible to anyone. The room had no natural light so very dark. It was also quite humid as the hottub is on that floor as well. Because it is a very old building, simply the age not the condition of the property, there is no individual temperature controls in the rooms. You can either choose to have the system in your room on or off. Initially it was very warm but having the window helped a lot. I would go back to this hotel but i would be sure to specify i do not want a basement room and i would want a terrace.

Pros: Spacious room in a great location. Bed was comfortable. The staff was AWESOME, they were extremely helpful and friendly. Cons: Noisy location and the hotel is located right across from bars and restaurants, we were woken up almost every night. The room was also very hot and it seemed the air conditioner did not work so our only option was opening the window which only made the noise louder.

The staff was incredible. One gentleman at the front desk even went out of his way to stop by the post office to mail some letters for us on his way home when we ran out of time to mail them ourselves. Emir was really great as well.

O hotel tem ótima localização (muitos restaurantes e lojas próximos, além de ser praticamente colado ao Louvre), otima limpeza e excelente café da manhã. Mas, de fato, o diferencial desse hotel foi o atendimento que brilhou (já fiquei em hotéis 4 e 5 estrelas em Londres, Nova Iorque, RJ, Las Vegas, Madrid, etc), e nunca uma equipe foi tão simpática, solícita, sempre com sorrisos e boa vontade, sem exceção. Alem disso, ressalto tambem a recepcionista Sônia (fala português) e que é a pessoa e funcionária mais elétrica, feliz e simpática de todas as minhas viagens.

Staff was extremely helpful, wevoming, and friendly. Took the time to give directions and recommendations, including giving us a map and which station and which train to take. Breakfast staff had memorized which coffee we liked by the 2nd day.

The entire hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. Sonia went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their ice machine had broken down and as she was leaving for the day she took an ice bucket and went out in the rain to a nearby property and got us some ice. Yes in the rain as she was leaving for the day!!! This is just an example of how you’re treated as a guest at this property. We have made friends here! Thank you all for making our honeymoon trip memorable!

We had an excellent visit and being welcomed by Sophia at the front desk confirmed we had made a good choice choosing this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The location was very good for the Louvre and Notre Dame with lots of restaurants nearby.

Perfect location near the Pompideau and the Louvre. Just blocks from the Chatelet-Les Halles RER stop. Large room with comfortable beds, a safe and a mini fridge. Very friendly staff. We loved the area and the hotel. Definitely staying there again.

Centrally located, close to many attractions like the Louvre Museum, Tuileries Garden, Palais Royal, etc. Notre Dame cathedral is walkable from the hotel. Designer shopping mall is very close by. The rooms are quite comfortable especially the beds. The room was clean and well maintained. I did miss not having a real restaurant in the hotel. I think it did not get back up and running after the pandemic. They do serve a very good buffet breakfast. Staff was very friendly.

A perfect place to stay STAFF The staff are all lovely and concerned and wish for their guests to feel at home. ACCOMMODATIONS We were upgraded to an executive suite which was absolutely superb. The temperature in the hotel itself was perfect. The bed was a king and comfortable. If there was a smart TV it would be extra wonderful BREAKFAST The breakfast which we had included with our stay was delicious. Each day we had breakfast. and did not have another meal until dinner because breakfast was so delicious and perfect for a fully energized day. LOCATION Excellent. Very safe very convenient. I think it entirely depends on the room you are assigned. Be aware that room 613 (pretty sure I got that right) is in the basement or "courtyard". Not too terrible but it is the only room on floor -1 and the lighting is not great and felt damp and clammy. The room was fine...very clean...just not ideal. The other room we had on the 4th floor was good. The key about this hotel is its location. So whatever so-so comments I make about this hotel, it is in a perfect location to see Paris. The breakfast was a tad pricy but it had about anything you'd want to start the day. And I would recommend taking advantage of it if you are an early riser as other places don't open until later in the morning. Staff members were exceedingly helpful and nice. They held our luggage when we arrived before check-in...mailed post cards for us....provided recommendations and directions. So yes I would recommend this hotel and I would book a room there on my next trip to Paris.

They held our luggage when we arrived before check-in...mailed post cards for us....provided recommendations and directions. So yes I would recommend this hotel and I would book a room there on my next trip to Paris.

Vi hade suite josephine. Upplevde inte att vi fick den där lilla extra servicen man kan få när man har bästa rummet. ACn lite klen. Frukostbuffen var en besvikelse i utbud. Inte ens äggröra eller ost. Läget var bra, och det var mysigt med terass med fräsch jacuzzi. Sängen skön. Allt som allt okej, men vi väljer nog annat hotell nästa gång.

Enjoyed the stay. When we got to the hotel at just after 4pm, we were told the room was not ready!! Not ideal, but we got a complimentary drink each and sat down. The room was ready at 5pm, so not too bad, but did delay us exploring Paris. The room was a good size. I did upgrade the room to have a terrace/balcony and Jacuzzi. We did not use either as it was all rather scruffy and unappealing. But staff good and location excellent to explore Paris.

Excellent location! In the heart of Paris. Close to the Louvre, Notre Dame, and other museums. Great shops and restaurants nearby. Wonderful stay at L’Empire, rooms are comfortable and have a/c. Reception staff very friendly and helpful! Make sure to upgrade room if having a tea kettle or a coffee machine is important to you.
