Picardy Hôtel-Gare du Nord

Experiencia mala. La habitación no tenía luz en el baño y no nos quisieron cambiar de ella. Nadie nos daba respuesta. El ascensor al segundo día dejó de funcionar. La limpieza y orden del hotel en general no es bueno.

Easy to find from the subways and overlooks one of the entrances to Gare du Nord. One of the cheapest places with ensuites so you get what you pay for. Small lift, rooms small and minimalist with a bed, very small desk, plastic chair, small wall TV and controllable radiator (higher settings make a bit of noise). Reasonably quiet with the window closed despite being on a main street and relatively thin walls between rooms. Good view of the station from the higher rooms. No tea or coffee or cups but several power points. Ensuite very small, difficult to turn or move. Same for the shower. Soap got taken away on day one without replacement - towels weren't renewed, but floor was clean. Small hallways fairly dark, had to feel for where to put the key in the door. Quick check-in and checkout. Good service from the staff and plenty of activities leaflets in reception. Restaurants everywhere, tubes busses and trains within a minute or two's walk. Great location and easy to find, basic functional rather than luxury.

L'hôtel est vétuste : l'électricité ne fonctionnait pas dans le couloir et au plafond de la salle de bain. L'escalier d'accès était encombré de sacs de linge ce qui pourrait poser un problème de sécurité si une évacuation était nécessaire. A la réception on ne nous a parlé ni du wifi ni du petit déjeuner.

Muito calor e não tinha nem ventilador! Passei mal e nem dormi! Tudo muito apertado e sem conforto! Não recomendo nem para descansar!Compensa muito ficar em outros locais mais agradáveis e ir de metrô que é super fácil e rápido! Rua barulhenta e perigosa! Para ter acesso ao quarto o corredor é a conta de passar uma pessoa só. Banheiro tem que ficar de lado e a descarga não funcionava. Tentaram abrir minha porta de madrugada, quase morri de medo!!! O elevador parou no meio da porta e abriu no andar do café! Que perigo! A recepção da até medo! Cheia de badulaques é um sofá que nem dá para aguardadar o check-in que começa às 15:00 em ponto! Não tem depósito de bagagem, mas uma mala pequena no locker da estação custa 5.5 EUR, fiz isso! Se o quarto tivesse um ar condicionado daria para passar a noite sem sair, só aguardando sua viagem.

Room temperature was bad. Had to open windows. Street noise was horrible. No hallway lights. Hallway was filled with mattresses and boxes.

L’enregistrement s’est bien passé. Les espaces communs sont encombrés d’outils de bricolage et de nettoyage. Le petit-déjeuner est assez moyen. La baguette est coupée en rondelles, le jambon en petits bouts, ce qui donne l’impression qu’on ne doit pas trop en consommer. On a eu droit à de la baguette le samedi matin, mais le dimanche, que du pain de mie. Dans la chambre, l’éclairage se fait avec un néon, ce qui n’est pas très esthétique.

ディズニーランドの帰りに宿泊。到着が既に０時を過ぎていた為か、ドアはクローズ。インターフォンで呼びようやくチェックイン、子供が予約に入ってないと追加料金発生、市民税も子供分も支払いを求められたが話すとなしに、スタッフの対応は悪く変人扱い シャワーカーテンはなく、電灯はいくつか消えてる、タオルもなぜかバスタオル1つ、勿論アメニティは1つもなし、エレベーターも狭く古典的で古い 部屋も汚い 兎に角、スタッフの態度が悪く、場所はとてもいいだけに残念でした

Near the Gare du Nord station. The facility is really old and flush on toilet is barely working. The elevator is sometimes not working to be ready to use the narrow stairs. Overall fine for a one night stay due to affordable price

De locatie is heel dichtbij Gare du Nord, ideaal als uitvalbasis voor een bezoek aan Parijs. Wel heel veel verkeer en geluid uit omliggende horeca dus niet erg stil maar vonden wij overkomelijk. De kamer was ok, ruim genoeg voor 3 personen en de badkamer ook voldoende. Helaas ook wat flinke minpunten, de douchekop was oud en lekte aan alle kanten waardoor de hele badkamer nat was na een douchebeurt. Ook het douchegordijn ontbrak. Ook een derde handdoek ontbrak, tot drie maal toe gevraagd maar nooit ontvangen. Nav recensies geen gebruik gemaakt van ontbijt, in de nabije omgeving is voldoende mogelijkheid om gezelliger en lekkerder de dag te beginnen. Het grootste punt was de trap die gebruikt werd om de stofzuiger en een schoonmaakemmer te stallen, plus dat er regelmatig beddengoed etc lag dus voorzichtig lopen en als vluchtweg niet veilig. Kortom als je je iets meer kan permitteren, zoek wat anders, heb je niet meer budget is vooral de locatie het grote pluspunt

Im not picky with hotel because I only need for bath and sleep but this one is the worst hotel Id stay. Noise from outside very loud that you cant sleep at all. Toilet so dirty and cant sit properly because no space for your legs even im very tiny. Tv not working. The worst part is, you have to leave the room key to the front desk when you leave the room, why?

Arrived in Paris at 14:49, walked a short distance to the hotel for our 15:00 check in, the room wasn’t ready and were asked to go away and come back in hour. So we went for a walk locally to check out shops etc, about an hour and half later we arrived back ready for check in. The room was disgusting, hairs on bedding, layers of dust, bathroom light not working… the list is endless. I sat on the uncomfortable bed and we decided it was better just to go back to London, 19:57 we were on a train and booking a premier inn in London for the night.

Hôtel et chambre propres. Support présent pour y poser sa valise. Salles d’eau neuves. Absence de chaise adaptée à la tablette de travail. Télévision sans les grandes chaînes.

Servicio pésimo. A la llegada 15:30 nos tuvieron media hora en el pasillo del piso esperando de pie a que limpiaran la habitación que no estaba lista aún. La sobrecama estaba empercudida, con aspecto de suciedad y manchas. Las almohadas de pésima calidad e incómodas.Los azulejos de la ducha y del baño tienen moho negro. El desayuno es escaso y cuesta 10 € por un café y un croissant y el servicio también es decepcionante. Los de la recepción ni siquiera se disculpan por la espera a la hora del check in. No recomiendo para nada éste hotel aunque parezca que el precio es aceptable, es preferible pagar un poquito más por algo mejor.

The location was ideal for the train station and the price was really good. However, it was a bit strange that we needed to hand in our key every time we left for the day. Also, I don’t mind the only fashioned decor however the old shower door was broken and in the bathroom also was a strange grate on the ceiling. We also were only provided with half a loo roll and had to resort to regular boxed tissue. Lastly, on our morning of checkout whilst tidying the bed, we found a bed bug crawling along the sheets.

Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend I had an awful stay at this hotel. The door to our room didn’t even lock properly and we were made to leave the key at reception every time we left the hotel, which made us feel completely unsafe. The stairwell to the room was cluttered with luggage and cleaning products, and not powered by automatic lighting, making the walk to and from the room an accident waiting to happen. The room itself was filthy — the floors and walls hadn’t been cleaned, the bathroom was grimy as the bathroom ceiling was non-existent and there was dust everywhere. To make things worse, it was extremely noisy all night with ambulances going past every 5 minutes and traffic congestion noises so we barely got any sleep. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Room generally very clean, staff most welcoming and it was lovely and warm with heating on! It was noisy outside, being on a main road, so i needed my earplugs, but it couldnt have been closer to the gare du nord station, which is what i wanted with an early start from there the next morning. I could not get the tv to work despite following the printed instructions, but i did not really need it anyway. The bathroom had no shower curtain or screen around the bath, so i had to be very careful else water would have gone everywhere, so it was very tricky! The plug design in the sink meant that it was hard to keep open and not clean underneath when you pulled it up, so these issues in the bathroom could be improved, but it was otherwise spotless. Thank you.

Location right next to Gard du Nord was great for us as we were on a late Eurostar. The price was good for a room with an en suite bathroom. The room and bathroom were clean, good bed with fresh, white linen. The shower worked consistently. However the decor looked dated and the corridors were dark and off putting. The bathroom was very small - I'm an average size lady and it was just OK. It was fine for one night before moving on but I wouldn't want to spend a longer stay there.

Yes the rooms are small, yes it's the bulbs are not all working, but for the price it's very convenient, especially to take Eurostar. And not noisy when I stayed.

Chambre microscopique et simpliste, mais lit confortable. Réseau wifi médiocre, très lent. Personnel gentil.

It is not fair for the management not to provide a fan in the room. There is no air-condition, no fan. The room was extremely hot. Once i opened the windows, flies visited the room. They need to consider air-condition or fan. The room was ok! However, when i booked the room, the details said " single room with double bed". When i got the hotel, I was given a single room with single bed. The room was not even numbered. May be the room number fell off and they didn't care to put it back. I was not happy that the room on the advert was not the room given to me. The room on the advert was totally different from the room i was given!!! I reported this but the reception desk told me that Expedia made wrong adverts. I chatted with someone from Expedia, the person said their advert was correct but it wasn't!!! I was told that they will get back to me after speaking to the management but they didn't. They supposed to refund me some money because the room i paid for was not given to me!!! Overall, the place is good for transportation!!! The receptionist was good and helpful. The rooms are cleaned everyday. Will I use the place again? I may !!! Recommendations 1. Update the charging sockets with with USB port (sockets type).2. Provide a fan in the room or air conditioner. 3. The window has no protection and it supposed to! 4. Bed should have at least two pillows. ( one pillow is not enough). 5. There is need to have channels that speaks English on the TV. Good luck.

Désagréable en été comme il n’y a pas d’air climatisé. Il faut ouvrir les fenêtres pour refroidir le chambre, ce qui est très bruyant considérant la gare de train en face de l’hôtel. C’est tout de même pratique que l’hôtel soit près de deux gares.

Le service est médiocre. Nous sommes rentrés tard comme prévu, on nous avait dis qu’il y avait un service 24h/24. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés nous avons du attendre 15min devant la porte à sonner pour que quelqu’un vienne nous ouvrir. Ce monsieur ne parlais pas français, il ne voulait pas nous laisser entrer alors qu’on avait payé et qu’on était venu déjà l’après midi déposer nos affaires. Heureusement que mon ami parlait anglais et que j’avais le mail de confirmation pour preuve que j’ai du lui montrer à travers la porte !

Personnel très agréable et un des derniers hôtels de Paris intramuros qui a su conserver un rapport qualité prix digne de ce nom ...

Ideal for me as opposite gare du nord and was tight on time arriving. Lovely staff, very helpful. Room clean and suites my needs for the night. €5 to leave luggage at reception for the day before heading back to London.

Unfriendly staff, unhelpful when you need assistance, children have to pay despite them advertising as child-friendly. They lack patience for children. If you run out of toilet paper, you have to wait for hours until the cleaner arrives, or buy it from a store. Very noisy! Breakfast was okay, but overall, it's not something I would recommend. It's labeled as a hotel, but it's more like a hostel. The hotel isn't worth the money.

I enjoyed my week’s stay at this hotel. It is conveniently situated opposite the Gare du Nord, which makes it easy to get to from Charles de Gaulle airport using the RER, and so there is ready access to both the RER and the Métro for visiting other parts of Paris. Shops, bars, restaurants etc. in the area are plentiful. My room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the breakfasts. The hotel staff were polite and friendly.

Hotel staff were kind and helpful. They made our stay extremely comfortable and pleasant after a long and exhausting journey.

As a traveller there are times that I arrive early. I’m not expecting to have my room ready before check in but usually what other do is if it is already ready they would be happy to accommodate you. But in this hotel everything is different. You have to wait the check in time exactly no more no less. Unless you will pay if you want an early check in. I was not able to stay at the lobby waiting for check in because they have to close at lunch time, so I have to stay outside at the station. This hotel is not accommodating.

Was visiting Paris with friends. Upon arrival even though i stressed when booking we needed seperate beds we found our room had obly a double bed. We were offered a different room which was much appreciated but once we were settled in our new room we discovered that the toilet did not work. We do not like to complain but when we raised this issue with reception we were greeted with a very rude response. The problem was never rectified which contributed to a less than perfect stay.

One gets what one pays for! Due to Hotel Picardy being adjacent to Gare du Nord, i chose this particular hotel. Because it was inexpensive relative to other nearby hotels, I understood that I would be staying somewhere 'downmarket' - but for three nights, I was very happy to put up with it! The hotel is clean and tidy, but my room was extremely tiny, with very limited facilities -as I expected! The concierge was utterly unhelpful and I had to come to the aid of an American couple because the staff were simply unwilling to help them! I did not expect much - and I received very little! If you want a cheap, clean hotel, then this will suffice - if, however, you desire those little extras that can be important to some people, I suggest that you look elsewhere! Clean hotel - shame about the service!

We arrived extremely early, we went to the hotel who obviously told us there’s no rooms ready which of course was fine with us but when asked if we can leave our bags in the hotel because we had 2 Buisness meetings they told us NO, they actually had the cheek to tell us to go back to the eurostar station and pay for our bags to be kept there we had to go to 2 meetings with our bags which was inconvenient especially as our stay was only for 1 night and we paid £ 89 considering we left the room at 4.15am. We stayed in many hotels in Paris and never nobody treated us the way the 2 day men receptionists did, we asked very politely but got arrogance out of them. We checked in at around 11pm and my god the night receptionist was very very nice, Picardy hotel needs this kind of staff the whole day, this hotel is so convenient being just across Eurostar, pity the day staff are not fit for purpose but we will stay again bearing in mind not to ask to leave our luggage and not show up before 3 pm as they do so well to remind people. Other than that we had a good 4 hours sleep. Thanks again to the lovely night staff who speaks English very well and was so pleasant.

Hotel right across the road from the railway station so ideal for a one night stay before or after your train. Staff helpful and was given a large room with comfortable twin beds. Room and bathroom was clean apart from black hairs on the sofa, possibly dog hairs. Plenty of bars and restaurants round the hotel.

Great location if you are catching a train - right across from Gare du Nord where the Eurostar departs from Paris. Loud area - bust street, lots of flashing neon signs all through the night.

The property was very dated and very small, the bathroom and shower was enough for a midget not a full size person, I am no means big but I struggled to access the shower without being a contortionist!!! It was very handy for the train station and metro links, but the location had too many vagrants and transient people around which made the area feel unsafe at times although we did not get hassled but saw others being hassled.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent travel connections though a bit noisy due to area. well priced. Good, plentiful breakfast. Room cleaned daily. No cold water in basin in bathroom!! A great inexpensive hotel for a short break.

Practically almost no breakfast at all. Only coffee and croissants

Das Zimmer war von der Grösse für 3 Personen ok. Die Kofferablage war kaputt, die Schublade nicht sauber, das Telefon kann man nur benutzen, wenn man das anmeldet kostenpflichtig bei der Rezeption. Sonst kann man nicht mal die Rezeption anrufen. Das Frühstück entspricht nicht den Bildern bei z.bsp. Booking! Wenn man gerne noch Eier haben möchte, weil die anderen Gäste alle gegessen haben oder Orangensaft alle ist, dann gibts das nicht mehr. Gäste haben sich während des Frühstücks beim Personal beschwerd, dass vieles fehlt. Da wurde die Tür zur Küche abgesperrt und das Radio sehr laut gedreht, damit man nichts von Beschwerden der Gäste hört. Wir werden nie wieder da übernachten.

On ne peut pas prendre de petit dejeuner avant 8h, et ce n'est pas dit ni affiché. Si on doit partir tôt le matin, il faudra se passer de petit dejeuner (payé au préalable pourtant). Seuls les premiers arrivés pourront avoir un oeuf ou du fromage. déjeuner peu copieux dans une salle trop petite et peu confortable.

Caro e ruim. Box com porta quebrada, café da manhã pago e não servido, informa no site que é a partir das 6:30h mas no local só após as 8h, quarto com claridade e luz letreiro piscando a noite toda, única vantagem é ficar na frente da estação Gare du Nord

It's convenient and cheap for a reason. The room, bed, and shower were fine. Breakfast was terrible. I didn't know what the meal was supposed to be. The croissants were burnt and the fruit salad looked tired.

As a place you need to crash in for a night its okay compared to the price, but and a big but if you care about the bathroom it smells very bad and we had an issue with the shower and in my two days stay they inform me that they fix it, which they didnt. Bathroom is way too small. The big issue i had is about breakfast, i regret that i paid for it since you can have only one Croissants and there is only 2 kinds of bread and one kind of cheese. Worst breakfast buffet check the picture and you will know in advanced what you get
