Best Western Locust Grove Inn & Suites

Nice pool and hot tub area, friendly staff, good breakfast

I specifically booked this hotel foe our trip to Tahlequah because it was the only hotel within 45 miles wirh a hot tub. But the pool and hottub were closed when we arrived, apparently due to "storm damage" although the area seemed fine other than the green pool water. The hotel is simple and in good shape otherwise, but those queen beds were the absolute WORST I've ever slept on. Pillows, too. Even my 16 year old son complained and teens can typically sleep just about anywhere. I dont know if it was just ours and other beds are newer and more comfortable, but we were sore for 2 days afterward. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good though. No complaints there and I love my hotel breakfast in the morning.

They had a nice clean swimming pool. The building was nice. Breakfast was good. The treadmill was a rather new one. The owner was hands on and friendly. We loved the hotel cat Buddy! The only regret was a cold hot tub. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The staff were all super friendly and so nice, the hotel was very inviting and clean, the room was very clean and put together very well. The breakfast is absolutely amazing!! They had so many breakfast choices and a coffee bar that was kept well stocked all day and night with fresh coffee. They only charge a $25 fee for pets and it’s per stay not per pet. Honestly best stay I’ve had in a long time at a hotel. We will for sure be back again!!

This hotel is very nice for the price! Staff was always helpful and super nice!! Priya was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast bar is very nice and to be honest the star of our stay! Anytime we are back in this area we will probably be back. Nice prices and it was very clean and kept up. We stayed for a week and seen full staff doing cleaning of the whole hotel at least twice and room service offered constantly during our stay. Dog friendly and they have a nice outback section with plenty of grass for your four legged buddy’s! Area is very calm and quiet, there’s a gas station and pizza place within walking distance and it’s overall a nice place to stay while here for business or fun! We definitely recommend.

We had a good stay in Locust Grove. Our check-in was a bit slow because I needed to call the hotel in order to track down the front desk clerk. Using the bell on the counter was ineffective. Other than that, the check-in was quick and painless. The room was good, clean, comfortable and had a working AC unit. The beds were comfortable and outside noise was absent since the hotel was a block or so from the nearest large road. The shower was good with nice pressure and head height. The hotel provided towels for the pool right at the entrance for convenience. The pool was somewhat small and exposed to the elements so it was a bit warm. Considering the temperature was well into the 90s, the water being warm wasn't a surprise. Still, it was wet and cooler than the air temp. Breakfast was indicated to start at 6:30am but was hot, fresh, and available at 6:00am We were thankful for this because we wanted to get an early start on our motorcycles before the day's heat set in. We enjoyed the breakfast with the standard scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, breads, fruit options, etc. An added bonus was the snacks and drinks sold at the front desk. They offered 15.9 oz cokes/pop/sodas, candy bars, chips, that kind of thing and everything was only 1$ each. Fantastic. They also didn't charge for a standard sized water. The hotel felt safe and we weren't concerned about leaving our bikes unattended overnight in the parking lot. We'd stay there again.

Bathroom was clean but either tissue or toilet paper was stuffed around the shower head to ‘hide’ the gaping holes around it. Breakfast was good. It is definitely a pet friendly hotel. I like pets but was surprised to be greeted by a big golden retriever. (I was told it belongs to the hotel owner.). Cat food bowl outside entryway. :)

Our room was very clean. The pool definitely needed some attention. Breakfast was poor. I would however stay at this property again due to the cleanliness of our room and very friendly staff

Staff, especially Ronda, were super nice. Stained carpet, stained sheet, and roach under microwave before we left. Would not recommend and will not stay here again.

Water damage on the ceiling.. and all of us are now covered in bedbug bites.

Bed bugs! They changed our room and didn’t charge for the night… but still not pleasant to deal with

I checked into this Best Western expecting a clean and sanitary experience, but what I found was a scene straight out of a horror movie. The toilet was unflushed and contained a nasty surprise, the couch had suspicious stains that I pray were just from spilled milk, and the bed was covered in hair. The whole place smelled like an old folks home. I checked out immediately. Do not stay here unless you want to star in your own personal 'gross-out' film.

Staff is helpful. No issues with noise. However, I wish the carpets were cleaned in the rooms. They are visibly stained.

Excellent facility. Bed was too firm. Otherwise great stay.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were in the area for a music festival. The only real downside was the horribly inadequate water pressure in the shower. The price was very reasonable for a five day stay. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.

Suite room was very big and spacious. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the yogurt machine.

Pros: breakfast was good, staff was friendly. No loud obnoxious junkies and tweakers. Cons: appeared to have had water damage in room. The ceiling had stains on it appearing to be from a leak. The cuck chair next to the bed was ripped and stained. Biggest con of all was the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have slept on. I had a hard time falling asleep because of it and woke up with my back in a lot of pain. It felt like sleeping on a trampoline.

Chose this room as the honeymoon suite on NYE. Upon entering the room the room temp was unbearable. After 2 hours of trying to get at least 1 of 2 ac units working we called desk we ended up with fans all night . It was super hot . Had to use cool rags on our face . With a jacuzzi tub in the room. It made it even more unbearable but it was the reason we chose this room. Then as we're trying to get comfortable we noticed no cord on the TV . They brought one. Then our toilet backed up for no reason . They brought a plunger . Couldn't use microwave because previous ppl had a bowl of something melted in it . There were dead bugs on the floor.

Quick easy check in comfortable bed quiet stay.

Stayed here for a weekend. The front lady with the dog was amazing. The cleaning staff however…… First morning as I was leaving the lady was next door. I said did I miss you. She said oh no I’m cleaning your room next. Got back room wasn’t cleaned just had towels. So the next day they came at 8:30 am! I asked come back later. They said yes. I left for the day came back no one came not even to bring towels. Went down stairs asked the night lady why no one cleaned turns out I had to request my room to be cleaned. That would have been some useful information!!!

The staff were wonderful and the location is very convenient! The rooms are a bit older and locks & door handles for entry stick; need maintenance. Breakfast did not disappoint!

Nice stay. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Mazzio’s restaurant across the street has great food.

Easy to find and get registered, close to highway/gastation. quiet rooms. morning breakfast self serve. Decent price for the room.

We always stay at this Best western as it is the very best for the reasonable rate. Clean, comfortable, great beds, good housekeepers. It is also very convenient for many nice areas in about a 60 mile radius. For outdoor activities, Native American Museums, (Tahlequah, Vineta, Choteau, Wagoner, Sequoia State park.

For me was real close to the auction barn

Breakfast was absolutely nasty we didn't even bother to eat it the eggs were watery the sausage looked undone horrible
