LakeWood Inn & Suites

Room was clean but in poor condition. Toilet seat had been repainted, picture frame broken, and room door was difficult to open.

When I arrived, they had let someone else check into my hotel earlier that day, so I was in the lobby for an hour or more while they figured it out. Initially I was told there were no more rooms. Than the manager was called on the phone, he came around the corner in socks and bedhead like he just woke up. Than they put me in whay I believe was a smoking room when they finally figured something out for me, just smelled like cigarettes, when I woke up, there was a smokey haze in the room like people had been smoking so much all night in there rooms that it made it’s way into ours. All around a bad experience, wish I would have been given a refund or a discount at the very least.

Patrons above my room arguing each night of my stay, kids running up and down hallway knocking on doors and running away. Manager was very nonchalant and not helpful for the most part. I paid good money for my jetted tub room to spend Valentine's Day with my wife and neither of us could enjoy it. I actually checked out earlier than planned due to all of the craziness upstairs and in hallway. I even asked for a refund this morning because I am not satisfied with my stay or things that transpired during my stay. One good thing is the housekeeper I think her name is shanay or something like that made sure my room was clean and amenities were available for me. I can't and won't recommend this hotel ever and again I do want a refund. I spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday night listening to fighting and kids all night long,

facility is terrible! Rooms old, worn, filthy, smoky to include weed, and unsafe! NO services (hangers, laundry, iron, microwave, food,...). It seems to be a tired building that is 'attempting' to work on things but a long way to go! NOT much choice in town, but will stay outside of town in future and drive 30+ mins to get in.
