Friendly and comfortable accommodations. The hot tub and steam room were under construction and unavailable during our stay. The spa services were too booked up during our stay. French restaurant was very good.

Great stay at the Limerick Savoy. Really nice gym - best one of our 10 night stay across Ireland. Suggestions include investing in far better quality towels and bath linens - the ones at the Savoy were so thin they were almost see through, which was a surprise.

Globalement bien, mais de nombreux details viennet gacher le sejour. Odeur dans la chambre, lampe casse interrupteurs defectueux bruit electrique, odeur de la piscine mauvaise, salle de bain pas hermetique bcp d'eau partout.... Rien de grave mais pas forcément admissible pour ce type d'établissement

Enjoyed our stay. There isn’t parking at the hotel, but easy discounted parking at a garage across the street. The lobby smells very strongly of perfume but the rooms luckily didn’t smell at all. Lots of good restaurants, trails, and sites to see and all walkable from the hotel. We felt a little underdressed as outdoorsy Alaskans in this very fancy hotel - but staff were all very nice. The hot tub is closed and pool is too small to swim in, but the atmosphere of the pool area is very nice.

Air conditioning didn’t work in the room to start with, my daughters’ adjacent room didn’t get cleaned once in 3 days even though it was requested. No fresh tea bags were filled up in the room and the spa area/pool was definitely not 5 star.

Positioned well in the middle of all the shopping and restaurants in Limerick, the hotel is landlocked mid block with an inconvenient front door, off site parking and a constrained check in area. But the rooms are clean, and the 7th floor executive lounge has free 24/7 snacks and coffee and soft drinks.

This was our final stop before leaving Ireland. Spotless hotel, wonderful hot shower and great cozy bed. The staff were super helpful, a shout out to Caleb. And last of all an easy 20 min drive to Shannon airport

My experience from the beginning was not good. When I checked in I was made to wait for at least 5 minutes while the person checking in was scribbling on paper. I was not given clear direction by this person about the parking across the street and that they had to validate the ticket to receive the discounted pricing. Upon arrival to our room the toilet was still quite dirty and we had to ask the concierge to have someone come up to complete the cleaning. The bathroom was dusty and not as clean as it should have been. The food and service in the restaurant/bar was very good.

On our 3 week tour of Ireland, the Savoy was the nicest hotel we stayed at. Service was excellent, large modern clean rooms and bathroom was very impressive. Parking was across the street in a car park that was large and easy to access. Front Desk were very helpful with all of our stay and food in the restaurants was markedly price and very good.

The food was amazing. We had breakfast and it really was one of the best we have had. On a more disappointing note, the room was not 5 star standard. Our mirrors were not clean. Small mirror had white splash marks on it, and the main mirror had dust on the top, like it was only wiped half way up. It was really off putting and it made me feel duped by the 5star rating. I would expect such things in a 3 star. Overall pleasent stay, but would not return due to cleanliness.

We really liked this hotel. Not sure if we got the room we booked or got an upgrade but our room was on 8th floor over looking the river and was a big family room. Big king bed in main part with couch and desk and TV and then a small room off of it with 2 twin beds. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff was great but, the room was a disappointment. The walls and door between an adjacent room were so thin that it was hard to sleep. The neighbors weren’t loud, but I could hear people so quiet take like walk, set down cups, and even get in and out of bed. It would have been a nightmare if they were loud.

We were given a room with a broken air condition. They did send someone to try and fix it but that did not work. We asked to be moved to another room and after a long wait, we were moved to another room at 10:00 at night. The room we were moved to was not the same as the room we paid for. We had a king suite and we were moved to a room with double beds. We asked to be compensated by the management and said all they could do was give us a complimentary breakfast and parking. We asked to speak to a manager and that did not happen. We asked the manager to contact us, but that did not happen either.

Lovely hotel but the AC doesn’t work so had to keep the windows open and traffic was loud in the morning. Nice pillows, amazing amenities and great coffee in the room.

While the hotel was nice and the restaurant/bar and executive lounge were great, the hotel is popular with locals for special events (weddings, etc). This combined with the door closers slamming the doors, and 1" gaps at the bottom of the doors made for very loud and disruptive mornings and late evenings past midnight as people went to and fro between their and their friend's room, some trying to throw after event parties, etc. So, nice romantic and quiet place - no not really at all.

While the hotel was nice and the restaurant/bar and executive lounge were great, the hotel is popular with locals for special events (weddings, etc). Overall a good stay. Clean room. Nice staff. Kid friendly. We had requested a crib when we booked the room months ago. Then the day of, we arrived and there was no crib in the room. We called guest services and they said they wilk be bringing up shortly. We waited half hr and nothing so we left to explore the city. We returned 5 hours later and still no crib. We callled again and it took them about 20 minutes to bring the crib up. Not expecting that from a 5 star hotel. But everything else was fine. Breakfasts was good.

When I arrived I was told the hotel didn’t have a room and was moved me to a hugely disappointing sister property. Staff didn’t care, lots of shoulder shrugging and chuckling. Pretty gross experience. Definitely won’t be back. Top tip: stay somewhere else.

Customer service at this hotel is superb. We enjoyed breakfast and afternoon tea. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our southwest Ireland vacation. In our first stay, I asked for two extra pillows. They must have a guest profile for me because now I don't even have to ask: every time I book a stay, they provide the extra pillows. The Savoy in Limerick is within walking distance of many tourist areas, such as King John's Castle, the Milk Market, and shopping. We also walked to a lovely wetlands area and saw a family of swans with their babies.

This was my second time staying at the Savoy Limerick, it is an excellent hotel, the staff are excellent, i especially want to mention Sam at Reception was the most help, as my partner is in a wheelchair he made checking in so easy and quick, and i like to mention Emma, supervisor, for her excellent help and kind words. I recommend staying here to everyone i know. Thank you all at Savoy Limerick.

This is a luxury hotel in downtown Limerick. The valet parking was extremely convenient and we were able to walk to a number of excellent restaurants as well as take a walk along the river. The staff was helpful and informative. The room was modern, quiet, and comfortable as well as very clean.

The Savoy is in the center of Limerick near all the important transportation hubs and near many good restaurants and pubs. The staff is very professional and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast that was included in our room rate. We would stay at the Savoy again if we return to Limerick.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of limerick. The staff goes above and beyond. It’s a safe easy walk to/from train/bus station. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. Would definitely stay there again if I ever find myself in Limerick

Very nice clean hotel with a unique breakfast experience. Location is great and a block from the Shannon River. Large grocery store across the street and plenty other shops and pubs just steps away. The rooms have climate control and mini-fridges which is apparently unusual in Ireland. Rooms also have USB jacks. Great place to stay.

Positioned well in the middle of all the shopping and restaurants in Limerick, the hotel is landlocked mid block with an inconvenient front door, off site parking and a constrained check in area. But the rooms are clean, and the 7th floor executive lounge has free 24/7 snacks and coffee and soft drinks.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel and just had to share my experience! From the start, the service was top-notch. We particularly enjoyed the younger man at the bar—his professionalism was really impressive, and he made our evenings even more enjoyable. The location was another big plus. It’s super walkable, so we could easily explore nearby shops and restaurants without any hassle. Our room was clean and comfortable, which really made a difference. Plus, room service was outstanding. Every meal we ordered was prompt and delicious. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely choose to stay again in the future. Highly recommend!

Room was spacious and very nice. Has indoor pool, spa and sauna all of which were great. Restaurant food was fantastic. Very clean and well kept property. Downside was restaurant was expensive

We had an awesome dinner in the Hampton Restaurant. We did have an issue with the room not being cleaned one day because we had inadvertently put the do not disturb on which we did not know about. 😉They did resolve the issue. The breakfasts were amazing and very elegantly served. Perfect location.

5star-I think not!! Limerick has far better hotels that this one i.e. The Strand Hotel across the water. Mixed experience during my stay. On one hand, the room was beautiful and found some parts of the dining experience in the Hamptons enjoyable, like the starter- bang bang chicken and sticky toffee dessert. However, the main course- steak and cod mornay did not meet our expectations, nor did the breakfast the following morning especially considering its a five-star hotel. They lacked seasoning and flavour. So many issues with the spa, for example the lack of staff and unpleasant smell- mould. We were all set for a nice relaxing time in the spa but turned on our heels. Disappointing stay!!

Very disappointing for a supposedly 5-star hotel. Reception area is confusing and not welcoming. Staff were nice but wasn't 5-star service. Room was fine, nothing special, poor attempt to update dated decor...photos look better than the room actually is. A/c wasn't working, said it to reception, they sent someone up to look but didn't fix it. Breakfast was not great, produce was same as what you'd get at a petrol station deli..."potato rostis" were 2 frozen triangle hash browns. €6 for a small glass of orange juice. Swimming pool was a complete joke...about 5m long. Hot tub was disgusting, old mouldy tiling around the edge of it, and brown and worn at the bottom of it. Wouldn't be rushing back in a hurry.

Customer service at this hotel is superb. We enjoyed breakfast and afternoon tea. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our southwest Ireland vacation. In our first stay, I asked for two extra pillows. They must have a guest profile for me because now I don't even have to ask: every time I book a stay, they provide the extra pillows. The Savoy in Limerick is within walking distance of many tourist areas, such as King John's Castle, the Milk Market, and shopping. We also walked to a lovely wetlands area and saw a family of swans with their babies.

On our 3 week tour of Ireland, the Savoy was the nicest hotel we stayed at. Service was excellent, large modern clean rooms and bathroom was very impressive. Parking was across the street in a car park that was large and easy to access. Front Desk were very helpful with all of our stay and food in the restaurants was markedly price and very good.

An excellent hotel that lives up to its 5 star billing. It might not be the cheapest but the quality of the rooms, associated restaurants and service deliver the value for money. Centrally located, with parking across the road if required.

We enjoyed our stay. There were several issues we had but they were taken care of promptly by the staff when we spoke to them. Our room was a king bed “executive” room. It had good work space, storage for clothes, a coffee maker with coffee pods and a hot water maker for tea and instant coffee. Glasses of a couple different sizes, a refrigerator (it didn’t work but was replaced right away), charger plug for portable devices by the bed, and adequate plugs around the room. A small table and chair were two could sit at using the desk chair. Room lighting was good. Sun beat down on our windows in the afternoon heating up the room to the point where the air conditioner couldn’t keep up, so the staff brought in a fan that really helped. Decent breakfast, good bar and bar food. Great central location. We would stay there again.
