Personal were so nice. Very good situation in city center, still quiete.

I booked this hotel because it was rated 9 & in a convenient location. Our 1st experience was on check-in with a night porter who couldn’t do more to make us feel like an inconvenience to him. We went to our room which turned out to be a suite; a nice surprise, but the electricity was from the early 20th century at best. We had to hang the key on a hook to make it work & the air con was functional but not great. However, the smell of the sewage system was awful! It was late so we said nothing. In fact, we suffered it for a couple of days because I was sick but it got progressively worse. The only way to try to relieve it was to create a draught by leaving the window & door open. When we reported the problem, we were admonished for leaving it that long to report. Fair point, but the pretend surprise was disappointing & worse, the maid was blamed for not informing management. Apparently management doesn’t check the property ever!! Maybe they should! They might also realise that furniture is worn & a bit grubby. The fire alarm rang on the 2nd last night & guests went to reception where the night porter completely ignored them & made no effort to explain it was an electrical fault and they had no need for concern. He stood with his hands in his pockets as guests informed each other of the situation! Management dismissed that the following morning. The overworked breakfast staff were lovely & helpful. I wouldn’t recommend if you care about customer service or pleasant atmosphere.

Great location, very friendly, very clean.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, à deux pas du centre-ville. Le personnel à l'arrivée ont été très gentils. Les chambres sont très corrects. La vue vers l'intérieur du bâtiment laissait à désirer, je suis mal tombé.
