This property is in the center of Lancaster County Amish. We enjoyed seeing all the horse and buggies passing the house. The pool was a plus for everyone. The house was very clean and up to date. The hosts are quick to respond. Beautiful Lancaster, Co. views out the back windows over the pool area of Welsh Mountain! Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

We stayed here the week of my daughter's wedding. It was a great space for all of us to stretch out and relax and even prepare things for the wedding. If it had been warm enough, the kids would've been in that pool! The location was central to everywhere we needed to go. I would highly recommend this propery.

Wonderful property- our third time staying here. The house is large enough for everyone to have their own space and lots of room to gather for meals and games around the big table. The upgrades since our last visit are great- new kitchen cabinets and stove. The best is the outside area- new deck and pool shed with covered seating and pool and concrete surround. New chaise lounges around pool. Location is great. Great place for a family vacation.

Great accommodations. Everything you could need. Outdoor space amazing. Location is perfect - lots of things to do locally and easy trip to Hershey Park. Checkin easy. Communication wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time. The house was spotless. We really appreciated a good AC system and the swimming pool during the heat wave week. There are only two things that we wish could have been better: the water pressure was not strong and the fridge was turned off prior to our arrival. It was a hot day and the fridge did not get cold until the next day. We were afraid that our food got spoiled because of the warm fridge. Other than that, everything was great. We will be back!

The house and pool were absolutely wonderful! The property was clean and spacious. The house was not far from town or all the things we wanted to visit. The road in front of the house was a busy road and at times was loud but that would not be a reason for us not to book the home again. The host always responded quickly if we had any questions. We would definitely stay there again!

The house looks small from the front but it is spacious inside. We are an extended family of 10 and had ample room. The outdoor space is great with the pool, grass for lawn games and the fire pit. Rachel is wonderful to communicate with.

Hi Rachel! I just wanted to thank you for the most beautiful weekend away our group has ever had!!! Your home was absolutely wonderful! You can tell the love you put into it! The detail you put into every aspect of the home was very appreciated by all of us. The decor was just beautiful. Every single room just beautiful! And so many clever touches. Along with the beauty of your the home was the comfort and the amount of seating for watching tv, eating, playing card games. The outside seating and chairs! Multiple decks! Especially the beds were all very comfortable! And all of it very homey and comfortable. Then all of the extras you had for our stay! The soaps for the kitchen and the bathroom. The shampoos and soaps were such a nice appreciated touch! Very considerate of you! I really could go on! But then the outside property was gorgeous and so well maintained! The pool the fire pit! Just incredible! I can promise you we will be back!!!!

The layout was absolutely perfect of the house. My daughter absolutely loved the bunkbeds. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for enjoying family meals. The location was close to everything we wanted to see, which made adventuring a very easy. To top it all off the pool was absolutely the perfect way to start and end of the day. We will definitely be returning again.

Beautiful property with gorgeous views! Exceptionally clean, comfortable beds and furniture, and thoughtful amenities (e.g. bathrooms stocked with soaps and shower essentials). Is now our go-to rental for the area and have already booked a return visit!

We have never been disappointed with the cleanliness, attention to detail and the ease of contacting Rachael with any and all questions. The house is perfect for many types of groups but our sewing & quilting group enjoyed our visit a lot. The house is lovely and perfectly maintained with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is well outfitted for any kind of cooking, beds are comfortable, and so is the furniture. The views from the family room were lovely in late October with the trees in their full glory. Thanks Rachel and Gideon for sharing your lovely house with us.

We are a family of 7, including grandparents, parents, and kids ages 3-10. The flow and arrangement of the rooms allowed privacy as well as several comfortable communal spaces…including a few table options for meals. The house was fitted with all the amenities you could want, including fun games/activities for kids. The house was clean, beautifully decorated with thoughtful details. The owners were friendly and easy to deal with, and helpful with all of our questions about the area. Highly recommended. We’d definitely return. Barbara and Art

The spacious, many-windowed family room is excellent for our sewing group of 6 quilters. Our hosts are very responsive to all of our requests.We will always come back to The Country Land House!

The house was in great shape. You can tell that the owners take pride in it. A group of quilters, we have need of sewing space and electrical connections. Both were in abundance. Owners were very helpful and responded quickly if needed. Highly recommend!

The house looks small from the front but it is spacious inside. We are an extended family of 10 and had ample room. The outdoor space is great with the pool, grass for lawn games and the fire pit. Rachel is wonderful to communicate with.

We had a long weekend at this house and loved it! The house is beautiful, clean, and well stocked for all our needs. Communication with the property owner was flawless and easy. Would highly recommend this house to anyone :)

This trip marked our fifth straight year staying at the Country Land Guest House! We have never been disappointed with the cleanliness, attention to detail and the ease of contacting Rachael with any and all questions. It truly feels so welcoming and homey every time you walk into the house! Year 6 is already booked!

This property is in the center of Lancaster County Amish. We enjoyed seeing all the horse and buggies passing the house. The pool was a plus for everyone. The house was very clean and up to date. The hosts are quick to respond. Beautiful Lancaster, Co. views out the back windows over the pool area of Welsh Mountain! Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

We stayed here the week of my daughter's wedding. It was a great space for all of us to stretch out and relax and even prepare things for the wedding. If it had been warm enough, the kids would've been in that pool! The location was central to everywhere we needed to go. I would highly recommend this propery.

The house and pool were absolutely wonderful! The property was clean and spacious. The house was not far from town or all the things we wanted to visit. The road in front of the house was a busy road and at times was loud but that would not be a reason for us not to book the home again. The host always responded quickly if we had any questions. We would definitely stay there again!

The house was great for our needs. We have 6 kids and had plenty of room to spread out. The pool was especially nice as we had some hot days, and our kids (aged 6-19) had so much fun playing together. The backyard was spacious and allowed for privacy and views of the hills, countryside and lovely sunsets.The kitchen was great as we prepared multiple meals while we were there. We had everything we needed, and were able to get groceries at a local Sharp Shopper.The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We used the provided pack-n-play for our son with special needs. The upstairs bathroom with the master bedroom is shared with the other upstairs bedroom, so you have to remember to lock both doors :).The entertainment room was a highlight for our family. We like watching movies together as a family, but even better was the sunset views over the farmland. It was spectacular!The location was great as we wanted to see both Philadelphia and Gettysburg. It was almost perfectly between them so we were easily able to make day trips to those destinations, as well as explore Amish country. The house sits right off the highway, but we didn't really notice traffic noise much (mostly just the clip clop of horses and buggies), and the we didn't have any trouble with neighbors.We would stay again!

We had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend in spite of the cold rainy weather!! We justvadjusted our plans and found plenty of things to do. Everything was amazing....we hope to return one day when the weather is mi e to enjoy the beautiful pool!
