This property was about 15-20 minutes from everywhere we wanted to get to. The house itself is beautiful and the view from the deck is amazing. Any problems we had were dealt with quickly and effectively. My kids loved the the playhouse outside, the extra toys inside, and the hot tub!

Our stay ( 3 adult couples) was very comfortable and enjoyable. The house is located in a very nice quiet residential neighborhood. The view from the back patio is stunning. The inside of the house is very roomy and contains all the kitchen and bath items needed. Beds were comfortable and all bathrooms are updated. The family history is charming. Photos give you a warm sense of their journey. They only things that could be taken care of is there is a musty smell that is located inside the front door when you walk in. Not throughout the house but just in that area. Also some planks on the back patio could be replaced before a foot goes through them. This cozy home made our vacation so enjoyable. Thank you.

Great location with amazing views and central to just about everything. I would give it 5 stars however the place needs some upkeep such as the hand rail not being secure by the stairs, and rail on the gazebo, some lights being out, and probably in dire need of draining the hot tub as it had a funky smell. Communication was fast with the host however he did try and charge me for an early check in when the listing just says it’s available if no one stayed there the night before, after asking how much it was he said it was free so I don’t know if that was just a misunderstanding or not. Regardless of those things I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood with lots of backyard space and a cute play house. Wonderful outdoor seating with a view of Mission Bay. Nice hot tub on the side of the house. The house was clean, nice kitchen to work in, had all the necessities. Spacious bedrooms, laundry room and bathrooms. This house is perfect for a family vacation, would definitely rent it again. We happened to be there during the heavy January rain and since we could not play ouside as we intented, it was a home that was very nice to hang out in...loved the fire places.

Had an amazing family vacation because of this house! Our 2 year old had a great place to sleep and play with the play house and even toys which was one of the main reasons we picked this property! The owner was very responsive to all messages and the house is in the perfect location with amazing views all day and night! This made for a great family vacation for everyone!

We visited San Diego (from Connecticut) for a family wedding and chose this property for its closeness to Founders Chapel at University of San Diego and Pacific Ocean beaches. It worked for both reasons. The villa is easy to get to from the airport using the freeway or local roads. Several supermarkets are withing 3 miles. The next door neighbor was very nice. The villa is clean, well furnished, and has a spectacular view over the bay and the ocean. My son and I sat out on the deck at night watching the jets take of over the ocean. The villa has a small but adequate kitchen that is well stocked. There are 2 living rooms, 4 bedrooms and all the adult bedrooms have TV's. The beds were comfortable Washer and dryer worker fine., The bathrooms all worked just fine. Our granddaughter loved the playhouse. Sorry we did not have any time to use the hot tub, but it is always on and ready. The deck is in some need of repair. We are all in agreement that this property suited all our needs and I recommend it to anyone.

My family of 8 had a great stay in this well appointed, clean home, with a great view of Mission Bay! There was plenty of space for the kids to explore, make meals, enjoy the view, dip in the spa, you name it! Scott was also a pleasure to work with. We hope to be back!

It was a beautiful and a comfortable home. When we first arrived there was a problem with the first floor air conditioning and the property manager had it fixed within 24 hours. There were also problems with the hot tub which proved to be more difficult to repair. The property manager had the repair company there 2X's but of the 9 days we were there we could only use it 3X's and it was still broken when we left.
It was a beautiful and a comfortable home. When we first arrived there was a problem with the first floor air conditioning and the property manager had it fixed within 24 hours. My family of six stayed at this wonderful house, and we felt right at home. The house was clean and comfortable with enough space for all of us to spread out and feel relaxed. The backyard was well maintained and had a beautiful view of Mission Bay. We plan on coming back to stay at this location again!

Here is my objective review: The house is in a great location of SD. The house is also very spacious for a family and the backyard is really nice and well done. Scott was easy and quick to respond. The elevator was nice for the luggage /transport upstairs. Other aspects: The house lacked a lot of "personal touches"- no basic toiletries provided in the bath/shower, no tissues, lacked sufficient stock of dishwasher liquid, the mattresses were not the most comfortable but not a huge deal!.

Overall, a comfortable home. The location was great as it was no more than 20 minutes to the airport, the zoo, groceries and restaurants. The only issue we had is that there were no paper products (bath tissue and paper towels) available upon check in but after a call to the owner, this issue was resolved. If I may make a safety recommendation, the bathtub on the first floor could use a safety bar or a slip proof mat. The last thing the owner needs is someone to fall and get hurt. I highly recommend this home when staying in the San Diego area. Thank you, Scott.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, very clean nicely decorated house. A huge selection of books available to read when relaxing. Beds were comfy, exceptional, remarkably clean bathrooms, the kitchen has everything you need. Great wifi. The host was very friendly and quick to respond. Our only suggestion would be to include written instructions on how to navigate the tv system in the living room.

This place is great for families. It’s close to everything as well. I would say it could use some updating. Some are pretty simple and can help dress up the place. 1. Bathrooms- maybe have matching towels and rugs. Having everything completely different colors and designs makes it look like it was just thrown together. 2. Bedding- all the beds need updated bedding. They look like they have been there for 10+ years. The sheets were great so keep those. Long term updates- kitchen and carpets are out dated. Overall still a great place to stay.

Three generations of my family stayed here over graduation weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed the home and grounds. The commons areas were most valuable to us and we felt very comfortable hanging out here as a family! The beds and furniture were super comfortable and the place was very tidy and clean.

Pictures don’t do it justice, it was wonderfully spacious, quiet, had everything you needed and gorgeous views! Favorite was coffee early on deck overlooking the ocean and view. We only get together once a year and we loved the couches and big kitchen so we could really enjoy each other. The bedrooms were perfect, beds fine.We’d love to return someday, it really was just wonderful! Thank you for sharing such a lovely place.

The eight of us had plenty of room in this house, we were able to watch the fireworks at Sea World every night from the deck. It was nice to be able to all stay together. The hot tub was nice. The couches were all couches not sofa sleepers so that was a plus. Nice neighborhood. Beds were not very comfortable, would recommend some different mattresses.

Overall we really liked our stay, and its proximity to everywhere we planned to go. We loved how much space we had, and really loved the backyard! We had 6 adults and two small children with us, there was plenty of space to never feel cramped but also still be together. The biggest issue we had was the beds, everyone in our group (minus the kids) had trouble sleeping on the very uncomfortable beds.

The location of this house is fantastic. The view is amazing and it's easy to get to downtown and beaches. I appreciated that there is enough seating in the house for the number of people it sleeps. We enjoyed spending time together in the common areas. We used all of the bedrooms and every single person said the beds and pillows need to be replaced. They are kind of lumpy. The upstairs bedroom could use some shades that go up and down instead of curtains that go side to side since the windows open at the bottom. It wouldn't be an issue except the host doesn't want you to adjust the air conditioner temp, asking you to open the windows instead. When you open the windows you have to leave the curtains open to get any air flow and the room is very bright in the morning. We also felt guilty using the towels. The note about not using too many was less than welcoming. All in all I would likely use this property again if I had a group large enough to need all of the space.

The house is fairly old but pretty well maintained. Great layout for 6+ guests. Two large masters, a secondary bedroom with Queen and twin room for kids. View of Mission Bay from upper floor and rear deck was very pleasant.
The house is fairly old but pretty well maintained. Great layout for 6+ guests. Two large masters, a secondary bedroom with Queen and twin room for kids. View of Mission Bay from upper floor and rear deck was very pleasant.

Great house with a wonderful back yard and terrific view of Mission Bay. Very convenient access to I-5, so easy to get anywhere. Quiet neighborhood. Only had two minor issues: (1) property manager falsely accused us of shooting off fireworks without calling me first; and (2) stairway window between 1st and 2nd floors broken open and unable to close. Otherwise a first rate experience. 4 stars. Pat B.

Great location with amazing views and central to just about everything. I would give it 5 stars however the place needs some upkeep such as the hand rail not being secure by the stairs, and rail on the gazebo, some lights being out, and probably in dire need of draining the hot tub as it had a funky smell. Communication was fast with the host however he did try and charge me for an early check in when the listing just says it’s available if no one stayed there the night before, after asking how much it was he said it was free so I don’t know if that was just a misunderstanding or not. Regardless of those things I would definitely stay there again!

Lovely home in lovely neighborhood, great view of bay through west-facing window-walls. Plenty of room for friends or families with children. Beds were very comfortable. Communication with owner was easy and he promptly responded. For renters, please tell people in your group: use only the deadbolt lock, and do not use the lock on the old doorknob - you will be locked out of the house until you can reach the owner by email or telephone.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, very clean nicely decorated house. A huge selection of books available to read when relaxing. Beds were comfy, exceptional, remarkably clean bathrooms, the kitchen has everything you need. Great wifi. The host was very friendly and quick to respond. Our only suggestion would be to include written instructions on how to navigate the tv system in the living room.

This was an amazing stay and the property was a good as pictured. The back yard with the pergola and table setting provides outstanding views of the sunset! Fantastic. Scott and Lisa are exceptional hosts and spent extra time resolving the television issue, which turned out to be a faulty transistor in the external box from Dish. Great work on their part.

This was a fantastic spot to stay for our vacation! Scott was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a beautiful home in the perfect location - a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go in San Diego. I would definitely recommend this spot, and would absolutely stay here again!

Spacious, comfortable, homey and clean. Beautiful backyard and views. Only complaints are that it wasn't stocked with enough toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags and we couldn't figure out the hot tub. The host was helpful and quick to respond! Would stay at this location again!

We LOVED this house. It is open and spacious and perfectly located in San Diego. It has room for 8 people with 3 baths and for a family get together it is perfect. Very close to the 5; you can go north and get to La Jolla and spots farther north easily and quickly; and you can go south and get to Balboa Park in 10 minutes and the airport in 10 minutes and LIberty Station in 10 - 15 minutes. It is a fabulous location. PLUS - the view of Mission Bay and the ocean is spectacular. The backyard is wonderful for entertaining. We will use it again in March.

The location of this house is fantastic. The view is amazing and it's easy to get to downtown and beaches. I appreciated that there is enough seating in the house for the number of people it sleeps. We enjoyed spending time together in the common areas. We used all of the bedrooms and every single person said the beds and pillows need to be replaced. They are kind of lumpy. The upstairs bedroom could use some shades that go up and down instead of curtains that go side to side since the windows open at the bottom. It wouldn't be an issue except the host doesn't want you to adjust the air conditioner temp, asking you to open the windows instead. When you open the windows you have to leave the curtains open to get any air flow and the room is very bright in the morning. We also felt guilty using the towels. The note about not using too many was less than welcoming. All in all I would likely use this property again if I had a group large enough to need all of the space.

We had a wonderful stay in San Diego. This house is in a perfect location. Less than 15 minutes to get to the most desirable must see area attractions in all directions. The home was comfortable and spacious for 6 adults. I highly recommend this home to anyone.

We actually live in San Diego but wanted to be closer to my daughters wedding venue and events. The house was wonderfully located with amazing views and great space. Would stay again if the occasion ever presented itself.

A beautiful home with everything we needed for a pleasant stay while in San Diego. The common areas were excellent spaces for hanging out with family. The kitchen was a nice space to work in. The hot tub was enjoyable. The back yard! The back yard was so relaxing and had an amazing view of the bay from the deck. Used the grill for steaks and burgers, it was very nice. The bedrooms were absolutely wonderful. What a pleasure it was to stay at this home. The host went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Looking forward to returning. Thank you!

This house was amazing! It was clean and located on a beautiful hillside overlooking Mission Bay. Our family enjoyed the fireworks and drone show each evening from SeaWorld. The beaches are close by as well. We will be back to this venue for sure. The host is very hospitalble and quick to respond.

We were so excited to stay in this home for our daughter’s graduation. The outside deck and view were amazing and the party lights, hot tub and grill added to the ambiance. The basics of the home were clean (wood floors, counters, tubs, sinks) however inside the kitchen and bathroom cabinets were dirty. The kitchen had quite a few gadgets and other objects but they were spread haphazardly throughout the kitchen and most had seen better days. There were no serving spoons and limited silverware. Most bedroom closets were stuffed with old, dirty furniture, pillows and other items which was a real turn-off. We took pictures and let Scott know immediately and he was quick to respond, offering to have cleaners come in the next day. We declined as we had family arriving early the next day and opted to clean ourselves. We also needed to purchase toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap which we have never had to do before ( and have stayed at MANY vacation rentals). Scott did provide a partial refund for our troubles.

Such a beautiful and impressive house! Scott was accommodating, quick at replying, and check-in / out process was smooth. The house looked even better than it did in the pictures and was very kid-friendly. It is well designed with plenty of space. The backyard views were gorgeous and the neighborhood was peaceful.
