Would stay here again! Stayed with 4 adults and 2 younger kids. Location is perfect for beach access with retail/restaurants within walking distance. Parking is sufficient for two midsize SUVs. The hosts are very responsive for any questions or needs. The only criticism would be the cleaners need to do a better job between tenants. Overall a great property and don’t hesitate to book this place for your stay in Mission Beach.

We enjoyed our stay! Was nice to be just a 1 minute walk to the beach! There is a lot of talk about the parking. We drove a Chevrolet Tahoe and were able to park at this house, It was very narrow and only the drivers side was accessible but we managed!

House and location were great. Access to many different activities and restaurants within walking distance. House was clean - had all the necessary features, appliances and resources. Would return to this location no questions asked. Throughly enjoyed our stay at this property!

The location was great and the place was clean. The garbage disposal stopped working during but the owner was in contact with us to get it fixed during our short stay. It’s a tight parking spot for a minivan with car top carrier. But overall we had a great stay. Mission beach is absolutely beautiful and we will be back for another stay.

As others have said, the location is amazing! Steps from the beach but still quiet. Wished we could have stayed longer. Contrary to what others have mentioned about parking, we had no problems tandem parking 2 mid-sized SUVs into the space. The key is to back into it.

Overall, the location, the place was amazing. It had everything we could want. Proximity to Gas Lamp Quarter (short Uber away), mission beach, coffee, good places to eat, and the amenities on location was all very good pluses. The only thing I could complain about was the two propane tanks for the grill were practically empty when we arrived and the downstairs shower did not drain properly. Other than that my friends and I had a great stay and would stay again if they fix the downstairs shower.

Great location for beach vacation. The condo was very clean inside. The outside area where they stored beach supplies had a very bad smell and the flies were bad. The air conditioner was great. Lots to do within walking distance for the kids. The beach was very clean with great sand. The parking was a bit of a challenge and was not clearly described. But remember you’re in a beach community so parking is always tight. Overall we were very satisfied with our choice.

We traveled with 5 adults and 2 small dogs. The place was amazing, and the location was perfect. You can hear the ocean from patio. The house has everything you need from laundry detergent to everything you might need for cooking. We were there for 4 days and we felt right at home. It beats staying at a hotel! Beware that you have a bigger vehicle you might not be able to park in the parking spot provided. We have a 2022 Chevy Traverse and after a few tries my husband was able to park easily, it’s best if you reserve into the parking lot. Thank you Nicole for the great communication and for keeping up with this beautiful home! We will be back!

My husband and I took a short spring break vacation with my daughter and her friends. This was the first time some of my daughter's friends visited San Diego and they had a blast. The property location was perfect for our trip. The location was ideal for walking the shores, eating, and just hanging out. The kids really enjoyed it. The property had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property's floors could have used a little more cleaning but it was doable. We cooked one meal during our stay and the kitchen was stocked. The property also had a stocked laundry but we didn't need to use it. We had a party of 7 and there was plenty of space for all. Overall a fun vacation stay for all!

We loved this home. We travel to San Diego a few times a year (often in Spring to watch our son's lacrosse games: he plays for SDSU). We bring extended family, including grandparents: so renting a home that has at least one ground-level bed/bath is key. Parking is a must as well-and the fact that this home has two spots was stellar because we had no parking issues when our son brought his car down from college to hang out with us. This home fit our group of six perfectly with room to spare on the (very comfortable) pull-out couches. It was clean as a pin and the decor was so beachy and cozy. We loved the sunny patio and also loved that we could hear the waves crashing just steps away. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you to the hosts for creating such a comfortable beach getaway!

The condo was very clean and the owners were thoughtful in supplying you with everything you may need. Only problem we had was the renters on the floor above us were loud and partying all night. This was hard with a 2 year old but other then that our stay was very nice.

Cute place. Very close to the sands of the beach. Walk able to many shops. Parking is tight but they gave great parking instructions. Cleaning could be better but overall would recommend and come back to this place.

We recently stayed at this beach house in Mission Beach, San Diego, and overall, it was a pleasant stay with a few areas needing improvement. First, let's talk about the positives. The location is perfect! Being just a short walk away from the beach and local attractions, we enjoyed the convenience of exploring the area with ease. Parking was also a breeze, with ample space available for our vehicles. The home itself was decorated nicely, providing a comfortable and welcoming ambiance. However, the cleanliness of the house left something to be desired. The floors didn't appear to have been cleaned recently, which was evident by the gritty feeling underfoot. Additionally, the bedding was disappointing; one room had stained sheets and hair in the bed, while another had dog hair all over it. This was quite off-putting and not up to the standards we expected. On a brighter note, the bathrooms were well-maintained and clean, which was a relief. While our stay was mostly enjoyable, a deep clean is definitely needed to bring the house up to its full potential. We had a great stay with extended family. Quick drive to Sea World and very close walk (just a few houses down) to Mission Beach. Parking is tight but we were able to fit 2 good size vehicles (1 truck + 1 suv) Spacious home with comfortable beds. Can hear the upstairs and nearby neighbors some. Quite a few household items to use in the home (bathroom, kitchen, games, extra towels/blankets) but we did have to purchase dryer sheets and hand soap.

Nice location to the beach and good size space for my family of six. The parking is a little snug but we were still able to park our Tahoe. Nichole was very responsive to any questions or assistance needed!

The condo was very comfortable, well maybe not so much the couch (a little hard). Otherwise, no complaints, it was very clean, a 30 second walk to the beach, and few minutes to restaurants, shopping ! It was perfect, thank you to the hostess !

We stayed at here for one week in January 2024. This condo is well located, just inside the Strandway, and about 3 houses from the beach. It was also well stocked with staples including spices, condiments, laundry soap, toilet paper, reusable coffee filter, etc. The main living areas are on the first floor and were a little dark for that reason. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are also nicely remodeled although not shown in the photos. We did run into some maintenance issues and pointed them out to the owner, who was very responsive and helpful along the way. We did not encounter any upstairs noise as nobody was staying there at the time, but we can see how that might be an issue as the upstairs staircase is right along the side of this unit. Also, the smart TV gives you access to all the streaming services (with your own subscription) but unfortunately uses Roku rather than cable TV for basic channels. We found that to be not very user friendly—couldn’t get the football playoffs, for example . Overall a very nice beach condo with the caveats mentioned.

Nice sized .. do know the stairs to the two upstairs bedrooms are a lot but good exercise ! 😉 The home was cozy and clean. Kitchen fully stocked. The beds!!! Oh the beds were so comfy I haven't slept this good in a long while. Just steps to the beach to the food courts . It was a perfect stay. The host was in contact for any issue I had though it was me not knowing how to work the key code. Oops. She was kind and helpful. Worth every cent to make memories with my son here in San Diego. Thank you so much

Only thing was that there was a unit upstairs we weren’t really aware of and we heard someone up there a few times although I thought it was just supposed to be us at the property. A few little things like the remotes not having batteries and one of the exterior doors being impossible to close after being opened, other than that it was amazing ! So close to the beach and very well accommodated!

Amazing location less than a block from the beach and a block or so to Belmont Park and several shops and basic restaurants. Parking spot was incredibly tight (we had a SMALL SUV), but got good at backing in. The unit isn't large (smaller and slightly more dated than it appears in the photos), with just a living room/kitchen, master bedroom with small bathroom, and two upstairs bedrooms and a hall bathroom (no other space/spaces), but it worked well for our family of five. Lots of stuff in the kitchen, but missing saran/ziplocs and the coffee maker is drip (not keurig), just fyi. Great stay overall.

We stayed for 5 days over spring break and had 10 people total (6 adults, 4 kids) and had plenty of room for everyone. We loved how close it was to both Mission beach and Mission bay. As others have said parking was tight but we were able to fit 2 small suvs. Plenty of towels/blankets for everone and it was great having the washer and dryer in the unit although the dryer vent definitely needs a good clean out. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will boomagain for future stays.

Would stay here again! Stayed with 4 adults and 2 younger kids. Location is perfect for beach access with retail/restaurants within walking distance. Parking is sufficient for two midsize SUVs. The hosts are very responsive for any questions or needs. The only criticism would be the cleaners need to do a better job between tenants. Overall a great property and don’t hesitate to book this place for your stay in Mission Beach.

Nice location to the beach and good size space for my family of six. The parking is a little snug but we were still able to park our Tahoe. Nichole was very responsive to any questions or assistance needed!

Check-in and VRBO customer support were a complete disaster as our family could not access the property manager when she failed to provide us a key-code or instructions about the property. Then spent 2 hours on the phone with numerous VRBO customer support specialists that also failed to resolve the situation. My family sat in a park as darkness fell trying to resolve the situation. We had reached out to the property manager a week prior who said we couldn't get in early because it was being cleaned earlier that day. Nobody was there and then we couldn't get in when it was the correct check-in time. It wasn't until a neighbor of the property contacted the property owner who actually helped us. I would never stay somewhere this property manager represented and would be highly reluctant to use VRBO as their customer support was abysmal with a stranded family of six.

The location was great and the place was clean. The garbage disposal stopped working during but the owner was in contact with us to get it fixed during our short stay. It’s a tight parking spot for a minivan with car top carrier. But overall we had a great stay. Mission beach is absolutely beautiful and we will be back for another stay.

While the location of this property was fantastic, the home itself was in need of some TLC and repairs—many of which appeared to be known prior to our arrival. It was disappointing that these issues were not addressed before our stay.We initially reached out to the host, who was responsive at first, but she arranged for repair workers to come during our visit, which was inconvenient and disruptive. After that, communication from the host stopped, even though she had mentioned offering a discount. We ultimately had to contact Vrbo for support.Unfortunately, this experience didn’t meet our expectations. There are plenty of other well-maintained options in the area, and we would recommend considering those instead.

Nice sized .. do know the stairs to the two upstairs bedrooms are a lot but good exercise ! 😉 The home was cozy and clean. Kitchen fully stocked. The beds!!! Oh the beds were so comfy I haven't slept this good in a long while. Just steps to the beach to the food courts . It was a perfect stay. The host was in contact for any issue I had though it was me not knowing how to work the key code. Oops. She was kind and helpful. Worth every cent to make memories with my son here in San Diego. Thank you so much

Amazing location less than a block from the beach and a block or so to Belmont Park and several shops and basic restaurants. Parking spot was incredibly tight (we had a SMALL SUV), but got good at backing in. The unit isn't large (smaller and slightly more dated than it appears in the photos), with just a living room/kitchen, master bedroom with small bathroom, and two upstairs bedrooms and a hall bathroom (no other space/spaces), but it worked well for our family of five. The property is perfectly located and walkable to the beach and nearby attractions. Parking is a little rough if you have more than 2 vehicles, but we were able to work it out even with it being a busy weekend. Easy to get to and really nicely maintained!

The property was nice and recently remodeled and was very close to the beach. The parking was very tight and would not fit 2 vehicles, but we found public parking within a mile. I stay in a lot of short term rentals when traveling and this was the first time I went into a place that had a used old sponge at the kitchen sink, old rusty/dusty fans in the rooms, and every closet filled with junk. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee to be found, a drawer had spilled syrup. The master suite closet was the worst. We had a lot of bags and I opened the large master closet to store my bags but there was no room due to a paint bucket, varous maintanience items, an old chest of drawers and other misc. items. The upstairs closets were not as bad, but one had two pack n plays inside with one of them being broken. There just seemed to be a lot of unnecessary items using up the guest space. There was a stick vacuum in the master bedroom, so I pulled that out to clean up. It died within 30 seconds. It had a removable battery, but I could not find a cord or charging base anywhere including that nearby master closet filled with junk. Instead I looked for a broom, which I eventually found in the furnace closet (which was also filled with random junk). There was no dustpan, so I used a piece of paper to scoop what I could. Overall, the unit was nice, but not well stocked and had too many items in the way of a truly comfortable stay.

The property is a very short walk away from Mission Beach and the beautiful sand and ocean. Restaurants and bars are within walking distance. We enjoyed the space and the outdoor patio. Expect to hear neighbors if the other unit in the building is occupied.

The condo was a couple hundred feet from the beach. The whole unit was clean when we arrived and the host was quick to respond to our questions. The parking space is a little tight but no problem after a couple times getting into it. Great place for a family and would definitely rent again.
