Very old building with awkard access. No 24/7 reception. You need to download an access app or enter a long code into a circular keypad to enter. I had to return to reception to be shown how to make the key pad work after checking in. The room was freezing, im assuming this was to combat the wet mouldy carpet. One pain of window glass was broken like it belonged in a final destination movie. Triangle shard pointing downwards. Mould was in the grout outside the wet area of the bathroom and there was some sort of smear/growth besides the toilet at the towel rack. Towel rack was loose and toilet seat unattached. The TV had such a bright standby light that i had to throw a towel over it to fall asleep. The light to the bathroom was also hiden behind the wardrobe. Next time i will spend the extra $20 a night to stay at the holiday in. Location was good for my needs.

Definately not worth the price and if you have accessibilty needs this place is not for you. Parking 5 min walk and if its raining like it was for us, good luck lugging your luggage

Convenient, location, clean, however, much smaller room than expected. Laundry facilities on a different floor, and an extremely slow lift made accessing things slow.

Property is simple and practical. Area is well serviced and close to CBD. Staff we courteous and friendly. Facility has room for improvement, carpet is really old and dull, Lift was slow and then decided to breakdown day 2. Place is reasonably clean, however, could be better also with basic things around like not having an empty tissue box replaced.

The Expedia page says parking available for $35 night, this is incorrect there is no parking available and we ended up paying $90. They did upgrade our room but we were only sleeping in it, so zero value and the door kept falling of the bathroom. Overall this is a 3 star property but incorrect info makes me mark it down. On a positive side the staff were very polite and tried to help.

We like the location walkable to everything what needed to do and we need to see. Hotel could used microwaved and safety box in the rooms . Microwave in the lobby could be useful as well. Staff are nice and friendly. House keeping they are working really hard maybe they are short of staffing. There are days that we did not get our room clean so I had to go down to the front desk to get toilet paper and towels it happened twice out of 14 nights stay’s.

In one room the bathroom had poor ventilation and thus looked to be growing mold on the ceiling. There was also some mold growth in the sink and a roach came out of shower drain. Room was in back of hotel/high floor and was quiet. Other room could hear a lot of outside noise/music. Rooms were small but nice other than mentioned above.

The staff at this hotel is amazing, always trying to solve all the numerous issues this hotel has. The rooms are dark, infested with cockroaches, and the air conditioning leaks water throughout the night. Additionally, all rooms are noisy, particularly those adjacent to the reception area. The most concerning aspect is the security breach that allows outsiders to enter the hotel.

Both my friend and I were very happy with our stay. Staff were all so kind, helpful and professional. We were able to leave our bags until check in and then after check out until in the evening. The room was small and simple but was clean and had everything we needed, including good aircon, a comfortable bed, mini fridge and a shower with good pressure. the location was super convenient being so close to kings cross station, because of this there was some outside noise at night but it wasn’t enough to bother us, inside the hotel guests respected they needed to be quiet at night, so we still slept really well both nights. The front door to the hotel is locked before 9 am and after 3 pm so we felt safe here. Our only complaints were the only hand soap was inside the shower and that there was no fan in the bathroom. But overall staying here was a lovely experience and we’ll definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. We had booked the Kind suite, but the room was dated, although the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a sliding door which was a little precarious. the noise form outside is typical with the location. Overall a comfortable stay.

Was exactly what I needed. I felt safe. Was very clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I ended up needing extra help due to having an accident so I really appreciate how helpful the staff were. Thank you.

Excellwnt stay we had, friendly staff, clean and esily accessible toilet in the meeting room. Clean room with sittong area, as per location, near train station, restaurant everywhere and close to hospital

You get what you pay for; nothing flash or overly lush but certainly comfortable enough, clean, and a decent amount of space in the room. They were conducting renovations at the time of my stay so the smell of paint was lingering in the air at times but it was a non issue and it didn't impact my stay at all. Staff were polite and friendly enough. Ultimately it's close to a main road, so there was a fair amount of street noise in the mornings and no double glazed windows so keep noise suppression in mind if you stay here, I just used my earphones to sleep. Plus being where it is the metro is a very short walk, there's bus stops right out front and plenty of food and supermarkets nearby. All in all, pretty good value.

Excellent service at the front desk. Love the location. Close to bars, cafes, restaurants and of course can walk to the CBD. Everything is on your door step.

The room was fine. The noise level on Friday and Saturday night was really loud, and they never replenished the coffee and tea, but the staff were lovely and it was a great location

Got hit with a bill that was no fault of my own but the guest who waited in the lobby and broke the winding part of the window which was old and due for replacement. The staff said I was responsible but failed to show me the video footage. She said I would have to contact the police to access video. Go figure! The bill was $656!!! Looking at the window this could be easily replace for under $50. It should be covered on their insurance. Will never stay here again. The room was small. Wifi was super slow. Better value elsewere. The lift too ages to get to the floor
