Desert Oasis. Private Pool - 10 minutes to Downtown

Very nice home. Great location. Host was very helpful. Awesome trip.

Checking in and accessing the home was simple! The photos of the homes are perfection! The home is cute, but not perfect. The pool and yard was very unclean/unkept upon arrival. We cleaned out the pool the best we could with a skimmer that was left nearby. I reached out to Vanessa via Vrbo asking if a pool cleaner would be coming and never received a response. There were zero pool accessories-floats, pool noodles, things like that. We bought a few things and left them for the next renter. The pool lights were not operational, and when I asked the owner, I did not receive a response. (He did respond after check out stating he didn’t see my message.) The home itself was as pictured. It was the perfect size for a family vacation rental. The kitchen had tons of glassware, plates, bowls and silverware. There were a few pots and pans, however there was not much more, no bakeware, aluminum foil, or seasonings. Of all the homes I’ve ever stayed at, it was the least stocked kitchen. There was a grill outside, but no way to clean the grill. We found the beds to be extremely hard! Everyone has their own opinions on mattress firmness, but they definitely left all of sore each morning. The distance to beaches and shopping is great. The neighborhood was a bit run down, a little adult-ish for those with children. Being that we are not from anywhere near this area, maybe that was just our perception. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
