Hilo Town Inn

La chambre est grande et spacieuse. Elle paraissait bien propre . Toutefois le 2e jour nous avons trouvé des blattes. Nous ne savions pas que dans cet établissement le ménage n’était pas fait , pas grave il suffit juste d’être prévenu. L’environnement est très très décevant, beaucoup de sdf, beaucoup de bruits la nuit à cause de personnes qui font des courses de voitures et qui discutent bruyamment. Pas trop de lieux pour dîner. Enfin pas le top.. point positif proche de l’aéroport.

The rooms are okay, it's an old building, no elevator, no cleaning between days. The area was the real problem, so many homeless, you won't feel comfortable going out after dark.

In downtown Hilo, close to everything. Clean and with small equipped kitchen.

Don't be deceived by the exterior of the building. Once you enter the front door with the provided code it's very nice and inviting. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nicely furnished. Compact but all our needs were supplied. Good coffee. Nice thick towels. Good air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Convenient location downtown Hilo. Neighborhood felt a little iffy with a few homeless people outside. Parking lot in the rear was not paved. Should we return to Hilo again we would stay there and recommend it to our friends.

Sam was amazing in making sure that we got checked in okay and that everything was great the next day. I forgot my book in the room and he even called and offered to mail it to me. Great room close to food and the beach….highly recommend!
