Good place to stay had sun on the deck for late breakfast and evening ( Sept ) Very clean on arrival good pub in village which is walkable if fit. Second bedroom a bit small but ok for one child two would be possible but only one would be alive in the morning if they were my grandchildren. Made a good place for storing our bags and use as a dressing room . Worked well for us as a couple if there was a downside it was the need for a good frying pan (burnt the bacon !!!) and the bathroom fan did not work. Brixham Kingswear Dartmouth etc easy drive from the property. We did have good weather and it was late in the season excellent value for us as a booking within 24 hours.

Das war gut: - Lage war gleichzeitig ruhig und gleichzeitig zentral - viele Wanderungen möglich - unkomplizierter Check-in Das war nicht so gut: -Gartenmöbel waren verrostet und sehr alt -WLAN hätte extra beantragt und bezahlt werden müssen - keine Waschmaschine, obwohl bei FeWo so angegeben - kein Tisch, nur Tresen mit Hockern (mit Kindern etwas unpraktisch) Für 5 Nächte war es in Ordung.

Clean airy well equipped. You can use your own data the chalet is not in a dead spot.Would recommend as good value. Brixham is lovely and not far from Devonport.

In a quiet location, ample space and well equipped. Very nice to be able to sit outside with lovely views.

Stayed for 3 nights June 25Property was smaller than it looks on the pictures. Smells a bit of dogs when you go in. I wouldn't stay there if you don't have animals. Kitchen was well equipped with an induction hob which we found a little tricky to use. No dinning table but there are breakfast stools. No travel cot available for our 2 year old. Outside the decking needed attention and the patio set was covered in bird poo. On a positive note the area is very quiet and close to beaches and shops and the weather was sunny so we did have a lovely few days. Doubt I would stay there again but I suppose you get what you pay for and it was very reasonably priced.

Lovely location. Well thought out layout but few small niggles Cooking equipment well used and not clean. Extractor in bathroom doesnt work. Dog blankets smelly

Property was ok but the bedding had a stain on it and the blankets in the living room smelt of dogs. There was no internet despite checking with the property owner who indicated it could be bought from the site. Reception on site said they no longer supplied access and hadnt for sons time.

Nice place, but nothing left for us to clean after ourselves, could do with a hoover and wipes left for the people who stay! Could also do with having 2 keys instead of having to wait about, otherwise everything is nice!

Very comfortable. Nicely decorated, bright and airy. Seating area outside with lovely views. Parking behind the bungalow, but with steep slope. Beds were comfortable and nice size bathroom. Lounge and kitchen open planned with breakfast tables and stools, no dining table etc. We enjoy cooking, dont really want to eat out all time. So the cooking equipment etc wasnt that good. Everything needed a good scub before using, including all the crockery. Not much choice with cooking utensils. Quite disappointing. As dogs are able stay, it would be good to have the patio area fenced for safety. With it having patio doors, it would be ideal. Not overly impressed with cleanliness. We had to wipe all the surfaces, crumbs everywhere. The toilet and basin needed wiping also. Overall it was a pleasant stay, south-facing which was lovely. If the above things could be altered and accommodated with holiday makers needs it would have 5 stars

The property was beautifully clean, well equiped and spacious for the 2 of us on a well maintained site. Ideal location for the places we wanted to visit.

A lot of long dog hair in property. Difficult front door lock bathroom floor could have done with a small bath matt, as can be slippery. Property did need a good clean. Great location for a break 👍

A lovely property, good communication with owners, close to shops & beaches (would need your car though!). Partner is 6ft6 and struggled with the size of bed but overall a lovely peaceful stay.

This is a cosy, modern well equipped chalet, on the outskirts of a very lovely village. Galmpton has a well stocked shop (1/2 mile walk) and a popular pub with very good food (on route to shop) Excellent base for exploring, beaches, river, walking, and steam trains. We did a moderate walk to Greenway (NT property) a very enjoyable day out. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

First time I have been to this part of Devon and booked last minute easily. Needed somewhere for our new puppy and was great for that as there was a little spot for the dogs to walk..a little further down through a gate. We spent most of our time by Brixham harbour and had a comfortable clean stay at this place. Beds were comfy and had everything we needed to keep the kids clean and fed. Loved the kitchen.I diddnt see any playgrounds nearby which would have been handy and deffiently need to drive. Check in was contact free. Would love to stay again.

Hélas nous n'avons pas pu effectuer ce séjour,faute à une hospitalisation en urgence d'un des participants.Le propriétaire ayant refusé un report sur des dates disponibles nous avons donc annulé ce voyage. Le propriétaire n'ayant eu aucune compréhension pour cette situation exceptionnelle. Bonne soirée. P.ANQUETIL

The bungalow was very pleasant with lovely furnishings, a great base to visit places in South Devon, good communication with Helen.

Didn’t get to go due to getting sick. But communication was great.

A nice bungalow in a quiet site just outside the village. Easy walk to pub and bus service 20 mins walk from site to Brixham and Torquay good regular service. Well equipped bungalow.

Lovely peaceful area, a nice base to travel and visit interesting places. Really enjoyable time.
