A Wonderful Weekend Getaway at the Florentine Waterfront Hotel I had the pleasure of staying at the Florentine Waterfront Hotel with my daughter this past Friday and Saturday, and we had a truly memorable experience. We stayed in the Sage Room, which was beautifully renovated—elegant, comfortable, and full of charm. The attention to detail throughout the property is impressive and really enhances the relaxing atmosphere. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and we greatly appreciated being allowed a late check-out, which gave us some extra time to enjoy our final morning. One of the highlights of our stay was renting kayaks directly from the hotel. We went on an unforgettable excursion across the lake and down the river—it was a peaceful and scenic adventure we’ll always remember. Such a unique addition to options on the coast. In a sea of predictable and tired lodging options, this lovely renovated collections of cabins showcases creativity and friendly hosts. The service was wonderful and the views were unmatched. It would have been worth it just to visit for the Siltcoos River trail. We didn't even know it existed until the receptionist suggested taking Kayaks out to explore. Can't wait to go back

We stayed in the Merlot 1 BR cabin, with a queen bed in the living area. Nicely renovated and well-appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Great lake views. Couch is not really suitable for sleeping on - maybe child under 8. Kayaking was nice. Linens were clean and in great condition. Patrons were friendly, kind and helpful. Fire area was great. Amazing access to the dunes. They are fixing up the place and doing a good job. That retaining wall is gonna be a big one.

I’m so sad I only stayed here for one night. This place is magical. The property was gorgeous, and the stars…omg the stars! Could see the Milky Way. Had a great time meeting other guests by the fire pit. And Missy was an incredible host, she really put in such great effort for every guest to feel welcomed and cared for. Her attention to detail was awesome. I can’t wait to recommend this place to all my friends - it’s a must stop if you’re on the Oregon coast near Florence. Just do yourself a favor and stay for more than just one night!

Kitchen was great. Had everything we needed. But when our neighboring room cooked, all the smell went into our room which was annoying. The setting was great. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the lake and the light in the morning. Staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the newly renovated Merlot Room cabin. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Kitchen had all the basics you would be looking for. Access was easy and contactless. There was the main room with a murphy style bed and a second bedroom. We were slightly worried the murphy bed might not be comfortable, but we wanted to stay in the main room to soak up the amazing view of the lake. Turned out the bed was very comfortable and we had a great night of sleep. As others have said, can't beat waking up to the view of the lake. The contact we had with the hotel was very responsive and they quickly helped with a couple of questions. They are renovating additional cabins on same road and all with have very nice views. We rented a side by side the next day with Torex - we highly recommend them for taking a ride on the sand dunes!

A very cute property. Perfect for families with children and dogs. The floor of our cabin was dirty. But other than that, everything was so peaceful and relaxing. Good location. Kind staff. We brought our paddleboard and enjoyed the lake.

Very clean, easy check in, delightful decor! Shower floor is a bit slippery, curtains are difficult to move and don’t cover the huge windows if you want to sleep in. If you want to be woke by the strong morning sun in your face then it’s fine, also VERY strong air freshener- just not a fan ( had to put in the other room). Overall would definitely recommend! Wish we could have stayed longer and check out the lake, we were there only one night.

Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Our room had a designer's touch - modern yet comfortable with many thoughtful extras. The kitchen had everything I needed; all stored and presented skillfully. And, our small dog loved being walked through the grass and by the lake. We even saw five deer!

Quiet and peaceful. Nice view of the lake. Walls were a bit thin and we could hear the couple in the next room arguing late at night. Also the keycode for the door lock did not work but the owner came and reset it so we were able to get in. It is a bit off the main drag, but that is what made it quiet (except for the neighbors). We would stay there again.

If you're planning a trip to Dune City, this is a great spot to stop. I’m so sad I only stayed here for one night. This place is magical. The property was gorgeous, and the stars…omg the stars! Could see the Milky Way. Had a great time meeting other guests by the fire pit. And Missy was an incredible host, she really put in such great effort for every guest to feel welcomed and cared for. Her attention to detail was awesome. I can’t wait to recommend this place to all my friends - it’s a must stop if you’re on the Oregon coast near Florence. Just do yourself a favor and stay for more than just one night!

Kitchen was great. Had everything we needed. But when our neighboring room cooked, all the smell went into our room which was annoying. The setting was great. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the lake and the light in the morning. Staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful.

Quiet and peaceful. Nice view of the lake. Walls were a bit thin and we could hear the couple in the next room arguing late at night. Also the keycode for the door lock did not work but the owner came and reset it so we were able to get in. It is a bit off the main drag, but that is what made it quiet (except for the neighbors). We would stay there again.

We stayed in the Merlot 1 BR cabin, with a queen bed in the living area. Nicely renovated and well-appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Great lake views. Couch is not really suitable for sleeping on - maybe child under 8. Kayaking was nice. Linens were clean and in great condition. Patrons were friendly, kind and helpful. Fire area was great. Amazing access to the dunes. They are fixing up the place and doing a good job. That retaining wall is gonna be a big one.

Best hotel of our entire 3-week road trip! This was the last stop of our three-week road trip, and honestly, we couldn’t have picked a better place to finish it. After staying at around 20 different hotels along the way, The Florentine Waterfront Hotel easily took the #1 spot for us. Everything about our stay was excellent — beautiful property, great location, very clean and comfortable, and just an amazing atmosphere. After being on the road for three weeks, this was exactly the kind of place we wanted for our final stop. We stayed at many great hotels during this trip, but this one really stood out. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. A perfect ending to an unforgettable road trip! 5/5.

Lovely property on the Siltcoos Lake. Comfortable swing for a relaxing read, nap or just enjoying the view. Will definitely stay again next time visiting Florence and rent the kayaks to explore the lake. Room with kitchenette and sitting area was spacious.

This time we booked a bigger suite. A girls trip room. The view was beautiful off the back deck. The dogs loved being able to be on the deck and in the rooms. The kitchen was useful for heating food and making coffee. The hotel improves every time we stay here. Smores and campfire had to be canceled due to high winds but refunds for smore kits were offered. Good for couples and families.
