Absolutely loved this property and our room was very clean when we arrived. Staff was so friendly. Only thing id probably have to complain about was the ice machine was broken down when we arrived so having to buy a disposable cooler and 4 bags of ice throughout our trip was a little annoying but we ended up making the best out of it!

This is an adequate place to put your stuff and sleep, If you don't mind peeling paint in the bathroom, broken desk chair and no elevators to the second floor. First room bathroom faucet was broken. Second room had the above. On the PLUS side, the water pressure was very good, the water was hot, and the beds were VERY comfortable. It was convenient and served our purpose.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent. The hotel needs some updates and could use some larger beds but overall, we would stay here again! Our floor in our room was a little warped, but you can see where it was attempted on fixing it. There was apparently a hole in the wall that was patched but could have been repainted. The pool was amazing and kept clean. The staff here were really great and accomodating! Really enjoyed it.

Staff and room was nice but the pool was way to small.Had a big family with lots of kids so wasn't much room for me, not enough chairs and soda machine was ancient coins only I mean,who does that anymore.

Cheap but not nice accommodations! Room very old. People next door were smokers so when they stepped out of their room to have a cigarette , the smell came right through the Gaps around wall air conditioner unit and door frame. Walls very thin, if air conditioner was not on, which was loud, You could hear the whole conversation. Both beds were sunk in in the middle. Very uncomfortable. Outside pool was dirty.

We have been coming every year for the last 6-8 years Love this spot … we Miss the pony but still great vibes … Breakfast is always more than enough if you manage to wake up early… they did stretch that breakfast till 10 🙂 pool is great and deep when you really want to work out on the deep. Rooms are great staff is awesome and we’ve never had any issues. Ohhh and we grill … 💪 Can’t wait so be back next year.

Sink and tub did not drain. Multiple flies and spiders in room. Floor felt like it was sinking. Lost power briefly at one point. Odd smell, although neighbors were constantly on the steps smoking weed. Fight broke out at the pool and front desk did absolutely nothing, I ended up calling police who showed up with an ambulance to assistant a man. Stay was interesting to say the least, and not in a good way.

The front door and the bathroom door were both falling off, told the front desk and they said they passed a building inspection and that's all that mattered to them. Even for 5 nights for 155$ a night, it was way too much for the condition of the room. The towels were stained, had to ask 3 times to get the room cleaned until someone showed up the next day.

The hotel staff were kind when checking in and the office was clean and organized. The room was somewhat outdated but clean. However, it looked like the bathroom floor wasn’t cleaned. It has hair and dirt and crumbling grout. The shower also had dirt and soem stains. The pressure and hot water were fine.

When we arrived inside our room there were clumps of hair on the shower walls, dust and a hair tie behind the toilet and in the vanity area. Overall it seemed as though the room had not been properly cleaned.

The rooms were very clean, and the shower worked so WELL (hot and nice pressure). The bathroom grout floor could use sprucing. BUT it was clean, on the main drag and parking pass so enough spaces for guests.

The electric is a bit sketchy. The AC units are connected to the nornal.plugs instead of the plug meant for electric so everything dins when the AC runs. The Internet doesn't work well, and neither does the TV. Bring a wifi hotspot.

I wanted to stay somewhere not cookie cutter and this fit the bill. I had a huge king Deluxe room with the best, most comfortable bed! Huge pine beams gave it a unique character. It was like going back in time and traveling cross country with my parents in the good old days. The linens were clean and so soft and comfortable.

Everything was fine until a out 11:30 pm on Saturday when i was awoken out of sleep with thudding sounds .. maybe beliow? We were on the second floor. Then the relentless bass booming for some time. Got up and walked around the building. The noise coming from the other side ..a room on the first floor below. Surprised it did not wake everyone up! Probably not coming back.

They were able to give me a 1st floor room, 120. It was clean and comfortable with a mix of old and new. Bed was comfortable. Had enough towels, little soaps, shampoo etc. blow dryer. Single serve coffee pot. TV worked by couldn't watch it, weak wifi. I used my own streaming on my laptop via hotspot. Good restaurants in walking distance, ice cream shops. Sandy Pony donuts right across the street. Good continental breakfast in the lobby. I'd stay again. (I tried to add pics below and the button wouldn't work...)

We booked a King Deluxe room, 2 adults, no kids. Great stay for the price. Was a little noisy 1 out of 3 nights, but that can happen anywhere, and the room itself could use more lighting. That aside, it's centrally located for all our favorites, Capt. Zacks, Steamers, Island Creamery, etc. and it right on the trolley route. Staff was very friendly.

They were very nice during check-in. Breakfast was good but could use jelly and a working drink dispenser. Room was nice, cabin-like with high ceiling. TV is Samsung TV, lots of channels but no locals or sports. Great location.

Check in and check out was very good. I think there were supposed to be quiet hours from 10 PM until 8AM. We did have quite a lot of noise from neighboring rooms on Friday night after 10PM. Also the walls are quite thin and we heard the tv from the room next to us for most of the night. We had no hot water at the sink outside the bathroom. It was not hooked up at all.

Check in and check out was very good. I think there were supposed to be quiet hours from 10 PM until 8AM. We did have quite a lot of noise from neighboring rooms on Friday night after 10PM. Floor was spongy and super soft in places, leaving us to feel that the floor integrity was compromised. Sink had unfixed damage and there was a large gap under door that was partially covered with a broken weather strip.

STAY AWAY. We booked this property thru Orbitz. The hotel NEVER stated anywhere on the website that the front desk closes. We drove all night and ran into bridge traffic. Got to the property and there was not anyone at the front desk. Pitch black. We had to find another property or sleep in the car. The hotel called the NEXT day asking about checking in. I explained what happened and the front desk acknowledged they were closed but refused to give a refund. I am disputing these charges but will never booked this facility or thru Orbitz. This should have been stated ON THE HOTEL site.

I loved my stay here! Thank you Noel for being the best hotel manager ever! The hotel is perfect , close to everything , nice very clean rooms with a sparkling pool. Not many hotels in the area have breakfast too. The waffles are delicious. Thanks again for a wonderful visit. We will see you again !

The front desk girl was flippant and rude. Absolutely no early check in even though the room was ready. She also was very rude when I needed assistance in the room. If the property owner was smart, he’d get rid of her. Been going for years but I will not return there again.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had so far. Who ever they booked above us stomped around for HOURS. No one needs to walk around that much. Called the desk no answer. Called early to confirm my check in couldn’t find it. I have been to this hotel in the past and it was never this bad.had to wait 30 min to get “checked in” to then be told oh your checked in but you need to wait another 30 min for your room to be finished cleaning. Bathroom is falling apart with curtain rod about to fall down and bathroom smelling like mold and having ants coming from the wall. Room haven’t been dusted spiders in all corners and when we walked in the tv was on and at 50?!?! Who need it that loud. Outlying angry about the loud person upstairs and no one to help. Had to keep tv on all night to try and drain it out. Breakfast was defiantly a grab and go but a very cheap one. Parking was pretty bad no spots. The last time we stayed our room was so much better so I don’t know what happened to this place but you def pay for what you get.

This is a highly overpriced motel with little to offer but a pool . I mean it really didn’t have services including extra blanket , towels and only one small garbage can . They allow drunken people to sit outside your room at night and the top lock in the room was broken . The checkin was very slow and confusing , not at all helpful to me . I was going to the pony swim and asked for some info , they handed me two sheets of instructions that were poorly printed and I could not read . I’m so disgusted with this place , the floor was dirty and the place was very dated

This is a highly overpriced motel with little to offer but a pool . I mean it really didn’t have services including extra blanket , towels and only one small garbage can . Absolutely love staying at this hotel, we had a nice sports car aith us this time and the property owner had let us park in a special spot away from everyone else and was very accommodating

Affordable and convenient no-frills property in Chincoteague. Good location, 10-15 minute walk to main shopping area, next door to Island Creamery, a seafood restaurant and donut shop, and <2 miles fo wildlife refuge entrance. The room and property itself is rather basic -- i believe it is a recently converted Econolodge for reference. Rooms appear to be renovated relatively recently, with new-ish floors, but are still showing there age in parts of the room, such as much older shower heads/plumbing appliances. Overall clean enough though, just nothing fancy. Breakfast is contintental with a waffle machine, oatmeal packets, fruit and breads/mini muffins. There is a pool on property too, but would overall recommend this more for people planning to explore the island than spend a lot of time on the property

For an older facility, it was kept up. AC needs replaced but was cool in room. Few ants at times. Beds were comfortable. TV was for youngsters. Had to stream stuff. No local channels. Close to both sides of the island. Right by Steamers and Island Creamery and Mr. Whippers. Also across from Sandy Pony Donuts. Very good . Would stay there again.

The floor in our room was soft and spots. Sometimes you weren’t sure if you were going to fall through the floor. It would be nice to be told that you’re right beside a bar. Very noisy. Not a good stay for the money.

The Atlantic Shores Inn and Suite was convenient for the pony swim and accessing the shops and restaurants around town. The rooms are fine -- nothing fancy. Breakfast was surprisingly varied, and staff were kind and helpful.

Great location, friendly staff. For the price, it's a good deal. But the property - inside and out - needs updating. Overall, everything is clean. Slight musty smell to our first floor room. Furniture is a bit rundown. Bed was comfortable and clean. Bath towels are far too small. Breakfast was fair. Nice that they have waffle makers. Coffee was terrible though.

The manager was so nice and helpful. That man needs a raise; he works his butt off there. The breakfast bar was good. The only thing I didn't like was the downstairs people, always in their car, smoking skunk weed; it was stinking up the whole place. Plus, they were rude. But that is what happens when you travel.

Pros- -close to the National park -next to island creamery - royal deluxe king room is nice, feels like a cabin from inside Cons- - called the motel twice before arriving during their work hours, no one picked up - served no breakfast on Saturday and Sunday bare minimum breakfast was served with most food items of Walmart Great Value brand Overall a good place but they should not advertise that they serve breakfast

The hotel is cozy. The pool was great with a decent open and close times. Breakfast had a good amount of choices and is one of the first hotels I've stayed at that had good fresh fruit. The only negative we encountered was not having housekeeping in our room for the duration of our trip, although whenever we asked for anything we needed, they always had it and were quick to deliver it. The hotel was just too full for the staff to keep up with.

They were very nice during check-in. Breakfast was good but could use jelly and a working drink dispenser. Room was nice, cabin-like with high ceiling. TV is Samsung TV, lots of channels but no locals or sports. Great location.

We only stayed one night traveling through the area but they had one of the most well maintained hotel pools we’ve been in. Along with that the location was great and the room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms need a complete redo and deep clean. The owner is busting his butt cleaning and maintaining the necessary. The beds were not comfortable however I realize that is subjective. Need for new pillows and upgraded shampoo etc. The waffles were delicious for breakfast. Location is primo

The room was clean, however there was a tiny ant infestation that attacked our snack bag, and we had to throw that all out. The pool is old, but deep and refreshing and clean. Overall no objections, it was a perfectly okay place to stay.
