Great find for a lower budget oceanfront. Loved that I could cook in the room if I wanted. Normal fridge/freezer and cooktop. Bring your own pans! They provide some paper plates and plastic cutlery. Other than that, bring what you need for cooking and serving. We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is dated. One elevator requires you have patience. Location right on the beach is wonderful. Front desk gentleman was great. Gave me rooms right next to each other as requested. Parking on site was a plus.

Love its Right on the Beach But parking not enough Handicap Spaces. Needs aleast 3 luggage Transporter. They have 1 for whole Hotel.

The location is amazing. That’s it. Pull out sofa flat/basically destroyed. Pool small and gross- hall way smelled entire hotel smelled like weed. Find somewhere else to stay!

This hotel was a complete disappointment. The mattress was filthy, and to make matters worse, there were BUGS! The front desk staff were extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. On top of that, there was no parking available. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

This is great location , great viewing. The property elevator was out of services. The lobby doesn’t have bathrooms. And it’s very small no space.

Traveling with my elder/ handicapped mother Arrived after 7 hr drive on a Tuesday the elevator was not working. We had to walk 4 floors with luggage. Hard to get a handicap parking place hell a parking place at all, staff seemed unconcerned and I didn’t think visitors should supersede parking over paying clients. The view was great ocean front.. Ice maker on 4th floor was broken. I doubt I will stay again unless I do not plan to drive and Uber or Walker everywhere while staying

We liked that it has beach view. It is affordable for its location being at the boardwalk. However, the sofa bed was terrible. We could feel the springs of the bed and it creaked every time we moved. We didn’t get good sleep from that and got back pains. The room has small kitchen with stove, microwave, and fridge, but no pans or pots you can use to cook. If you want to cook, bring your own pots/pans/plates/silverware. Another thing is that it only has one elevator and one luggage cart. My husband waited for about 30minutes before he could come down with our luggage on the cart. Also, only one of the entrance double doors opened, which made it hard to bring in and out the cart with luggage.

Property is very close to the beach and in a good area to shop and get food. It seems more like a motel than a hotel so rooms were not fully clean when we arrived for our stay. The rooms are nice but not as clean as they could have been. Elevator does takes a while, but the people who work there are overall pretty nice.

The shower was out of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Towels had stains on them. Building seems old and not taken care of.

This hotel is a dump. Trash, underwear, dirty laundry in stairwells. Shower head, faucet, light switches hanging off the wall. Reception couldn't be hardly bothered to do much. We won't be back.

Disgustingly filthy. Trash everywhere, including maintenance of full trashbags direclty next to vending maxhine and only elevator. Human feces in the parking lot. Trash all over the parking lot. Disgusting elevator. Filthy bathroom. Stained couch. Materially different from photos and description. We stayed the first night but checked out the first morning. Asked for a refund and were told we had to contact hotels.com.

Everything about this place was disgusting, do yourself a favor and don't look their way.

The room was so dirty , floor, bed, couch , no staff at all .. I had to clean the room every day sheets where dirty , I will never go back to that hotel ever . Food on the floor between rooms in stairways…

Dirty not the best in the area

Nasty!!!!!! Sand in beds, mirror dirty, door jam broke cutting my son's shirt, balcony cracked and loose. Have images to prove it all!

Huge living room and separate bedroom , updated . Private balcony overlooking ocean . Right in center of Boardwalk, can walk to everything.

The bathroom door would not close, no TP holder and the front door had to be slamed to close it. The room itself was huge and beautiful view.

The photos online are deceptive. The room is very small. Our phone didn’t work. Outlet covers were missing from receptacles. The smell of pot was so strong in our room from people all over getting high that it was concerning to say the least. The only redeeming factor of the hotel was the staff and their friendliness and willingness to communicate. Although this stay was affordable it was by far not worth the cost savings for the propensity to have a contact buzz, the insanely uncomfortable pull out bed, the insane bug issue on the balcony from the lights and bugs, the seriously small outdoor pool, the cramped quarters for a family stay and the fridge door with the hinges on the wrong side so that no one could open a fridge without rearranging a room. Kids couldn’t use their Nintendo ds with the tv because of no availability of grounded outlets anywhere near the tv.

We loved that the hotel was right on the beach and that all rooms face the ocean. The bedroom was separate from the living area, which was great. Looks recently updated.

The hotel was clean, but things were broken and looked disgusting. The double beds were comfortable, but the pull-out was horrible. You could feel every single spring, which caused me to check out earlier than I was supposed to. The view of the ocean was beautiful. Never booking here again.

Aesthetically the rooms looked beautiful, functionally nothing was working in my room including the balcony door not locking, the telephone not working, The Nightshade over the bedroom window was broken. The toilet wouldn't flush and the shower knob was completely loose. The cleaning staff did not offer any housekeeping while I was there for two nights. Overall appearance of the building looks old and dirty. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful, but the quality of guest who stay at this location is very low. Neighbors were very loud screaming and yelling down Breezeway where doors and bedrooms face the parking lot side. Neighbors playing music way too loud during all hours of the night. I only stayed here because of the rate and photos advertise through Expedia. Looks can be deceiving so do your research and read reviews.

Oceanfront property with the balcony made it the perfect view. While the corridor smelled a bit and the room kind of smell like cigarette, and if you shut the a/c off the floor became wet, I’m happy to have stayed here for the night. The smell and wetness could easily turn a different family off, but we were only in our room to sleep, and all we had to do was turn the a/c on for the water to go away. I would book the stay again for the oceanfront balcony and amount of space!

The mattress on the pull out was completely worn out, but otherwise was a decent place to stay.

Room was clean and ready when we arrived. The two beds in the bedroom are comfortable, the mattress on the pullout couch is absolutely awful and you can feel every spring, extremely hard to sleep on and uncomfortable. Air conditioning worked well, room stayed nice and cool even on the recent very hot days. Can hear other guest, and street traffic unfortunately we had neighbneighbors who thought appropriate to blast music and scream at eachother until early morning hours, which we could hear with ease. There's only one elevator for all rooms, and it isn't kept very clean, at one point during our stay someone had vomited in the elevator rendering it useless until cleaned, which is unfavorable when you have a stroller and cannot use the stairs. They painted the exterior walls, and didn't put up wet paint signs, so my 10 year old ruined a brand new hoodie. Its an okay property, we probably won't stay here again, but for the price it could be worse.

This was a pretty bad stay. If it was just one or two of these things I probably wouldn’t complain. The rooms were supposedly renovated but really it was only the floors, bathroom sink and dressers. It’s like the renovation was incomplete. The phone was not hooked up at all. The light in the kitchenette was missing. There was no coffee maker which they advertised every room having. The patio door did not close from the patio side. There was no hand soap dispenser and the lotion dispenser was empty. The toilet paper holder was broken. The extra bedding had not been washed. The utility closet door was open/unlocked. There were no mats for the floors so you constantly had to brush off your feet before getting into the bed. They neglected to turn down the room until I had them write it in their book. Further, the family we came with saw roaches in their room and did not have a table. When I asked for anything at the desk, like for instance the phone hookup, I was promised they would take care of it but they never did. The 2 stars is only because the staff was friendly, the water pressure and temperature were great, and the view was great.

To begin this is our 6th stay at this hotel and our last. Although the front desk made it right, we were initially put in a room that was well under expectations. The elevator was down when we arrived so we had to carry all our things up- luckily to the 2nd floor. Aside from the floor not being swept, the dresser was pulled out from the wall, the microwave was missing, and the tvs did not work or have remotes. We spoke with front desk and the man was going to get us remotes, but only after my wife asked for another room, they were going to make us stay in squalor. The couch was filthy. There was a used lotion bottle in the floor and pee in the commode. We had to pack up all our stuff again to move to another room which was actually clean and liveable. A couple nights later, after Thanksgiving, we went out, it was very cold, and our room key would not work. So we had to wait with our pizza to have that situation handled. I am glad they made it right, but, you can do better. YOU MUST DO BETTER! Regardless, we won't be coming back.

I liked the staff they were friendly and accommodating. I didn’t like the little table only for one person and the room sleeps 6. The 1st night no hot water. Very quiet which I liked. I would stay again but I think they need to upgrade the furniture because they need it . The furniture looked old a ding

Couldnt supply bath towels when asked. Very dirty. Management was terrible! Not enough parking spots to accommodate pee room.

The staff there was very nice. Mike the guy that worked the morning shift he was the best. He went out his way to help us whenever we asked for something. I noticed he did the same for everyone. Very polite and respectful. The room was nice. Big enough for my family. Great parking. Easy checkin easy check out. I would definitely be staying here again. And recommending my friends to stay there too.

Great hotel great staff great view

Staff here is very friendly and accomodating, overall while the property is being renovated it's still a bit dated overall but there's no denying the rooms still provide an amazing beachfront view. Obviously the parking situation could be better but with limited space its understandable. Of course it's not one of the nicer chain hotels but it still gets the job done and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Overall, the hotel room was good. The floors were dirty when we arrived, and it’s not the sand that bothered me since we are right at the beach. It was the dirty spots from previous spills. The white curtains looked like they got stuck in the door by the previous people and were dirty too. The beds were comfortable but the pullout couch could use a new mattress. The service was great, AC was not working and we had someone fixing it within a few minutes. Got more fresh towels when asked, even tho I feel like a room made for six people should have six towels in it. Overall, it was a good experience and we would not mind staying there again.

I checked in on a Friday with a check out on a Monday. The front door wouldn’t close properly, the TV didn’t work all weekend and my neighbors were playing knock knock zoom zoom. Upon telling the owner/property manager la they did absolutely nothing. They never came for house keeping, when asked for new towels/linen it was a problem.

PERFECT location. Nice room, great view. The premises are a little dirty and the pool is NOT something we'd want to use at all.

The hotel was very dated, but clean. Staff was friendly. Parking was slightly difficult due to the setup of the back lot and I highly recommend backing into a parking space for easy exit. Easy access to everything and beachfront. Overall a positive experience.

Stayed for 5 days for my fiancés birthday. The view was amazing. The suite was very nice just wish the beds were more comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly. Parking was a little limited if you left but still best stay I’ve had in years going to Va beach and we go every year.

Obviously the beach view is a great feature. I enjoyed my stay but since I was in an end unit, I heard cars revving on Atlantic Avenue well into the night.

Balcony door wouldn’t unlock and wouldn’t shut properly once opened. Electrical outlets did not work. Front door wouldn’t lock properly, had to slam doors very hard to lock them. Beautiful view of the ocean though. Walking access to boardwalk is a plus.

The only thing good about this hotel is that it's right on the beach. It's an older hotel, with not many modern conveniences. The fridge and coffee maker didn't work in our room, and the beds are small (double beds).

Overall not a bad place to stay for the price. If you’re looking for a hotel with amenities the only thing here is a pool. No coffee or anything in the lobby. However the oceanfront view is no different than a 5 star resort. I’d stay here again.

Large living room. Needed a larger table. No tables in bedroom. We had 3 CPAP machines tovset up next to beds. Not enough electric outlets at bedsidevfor these, so had yo run across walking space. Has had nice upgrade since we last stayed there. Refrigerator even had a real separate freezer. Very nice balany and chairs. Heater in bedroom was located above our heads. Couldn't see control buttons enough to read them. Tub caulk could use serious cleaning and payching. Floors needed washing. Should be mopped betwen each guest stay. Had to wash my feet sev times a day. Street VERY noisy at night with loud racing car, motorcycle, and truck engines. Where is your cities police? Nice location to beach and street services. Smell of pott was horrible when sitting on balcony. No smoking policy needs to include no vaping of strong smelling products. Couch large enough for 3 people. Handicap parking spot occupied by no handicap plackard car. Sign for this spot too faded to read,, and only marked on the blacktop. Needs standing sign also. Only 1 handicap space given. Stairwell was clean, but feared safety in it at times. Some desk persons not friendly and were stingy with coffee, cuos, and condiments.

Need better cleaning and better coffee pots

Excellent for the price. I didn't expect the separate room. Hot water was hot and miss. Staff was friendly. Cleaning could've been better. All 3 dispensers, soap, shampoo and conditioner were empty so crew didnt check those. Full size fridge made a huge difference for us. 2 stove burners and cupboard space. Note there is no oven and no pans or tools. Closet had no hangers. BIG dressers. No table. Tv in both rooms. Great view from small private balcony. Coffee maker didn't match the coffee packs. No creamer or sugar or stirrers. BIG freezer was also a nice suprise.

Very small cheap overcrowded outside pool like a motel 8. The one very small elevator that they had Was not working and we had to lug our stuff up-and-down on the 3rd floor. The small compact outside hallways have a horrible stench. Marijuana smoke runs rampant and comes in through your A. C unit. And people sit outside on their balconies. And smoke cigarettes that Comes straight up to your balcony. When the facility is supposed to be non-smoking. The hair dryer was not working. One of the beds had blood stains on the sheets. The pull out couch had no sheets, pillows or blankets we called down. And expected some to be brought to our door but we had to go down the 3 flights of stairs to get them. The Pull out sofa. Sleeper is so cheap. I don't even know why they bothered putting a covering over the Springs. At least you would have something to play with while you Toss and turned all night. It was like a torture chamber. Good luck moving the next morning. It says in their brochure that they have room service, which leads you to believe that they have some sort of restaurants that prepares food in the building. But this is not the case at all Very deceiving. When I questioned them about this, they said you could use an app to have an outside restaurant. Deliver your food. So all in all, I had a massive headache from all the smoke. And When I woke up. I felt like I had been in a car wreck. From the Sofa, sleeper. We didn't Even wait for check out. We left first thing in the mor
